While some states set a single marriage license price, Wisconsin takes a county by county approach. The fee varies and is dependent on which county you apply in. A 5-day waiting period is mandatory, and out-of-state residents must apply in the county which they plan to marry. Once your Wisconsin marriage license has been issued, it's good for 60 days.
