I had a great experience with Gina! She was willing to meet me at my apartment in San Jose for the trial and came after work to accommodate my schedule. Gina is professional, personable, and very talented. She listened to what I wanted to made me feel so polished and put-together! I also LOVED the feeling of airbrushed makeup. It held up so well on my wedding day and I highly recommend it - especially if you've never tried it!

I booked Sarah to do both mine and the wedding party's hair, and I couldn't have been more pleased with the experience! She was a dream to work with—so approachable and professional. Sarah worked with many different hair types and styles, and she effortlessly brought everyone’s vision to life. I had a hair trial beforehand where we collaborated and made adjustments to ensure everything was perfect for the big day. On the day of the wedding, Sarah truly exceeded my expectations. Everyone looked amazing, and I couldn't be happier with how my hair turned out. Overall, Sarah was fantastic, and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a talented and easy-to-work-with hairstylist!

I’m so glad Jen and her team did the hair and makeup for my wedding! I was happy with how it looked after a trial, but on the day of the wedding they came with additional ideas based on the trial that made it even better. Jen suggested some tweaks to the hairstyle I originally envisioned based on what she thought would look best, and she was completely right. I also wanted natural looking makeup and the artist, Jesse, managed to do it in a way that both looked natural in person and photographed beautifully. Additionally, I had 8 bridesmaids getting hair and makeup done and they kept the schedule running smoothly, plus everyone loved how their hair and makeup looked.

I couldn’t have asked for anything more from Mistique Makeup for our wedding. We hired them for both the ceremony and reception (split on different days). Everyone we worked with matched our visions perfectly and made us all feel stunning! I would hire them again in a heartbeat.

I discovered Sam through a mutual friend and used her for both hair and make-up. Not only was Sam on time, she was a delight and very professional. I have since used her for several years for various events and know I will look and feel my best (while still looking like me and not over the top) with her in my corner! Highly recommended her!

Amber and Maribel did a fantastic job with our wedding. They were punctual, accommodating, friendly, and skillful. Amber was able to incorporate fresh flowers in my hair and me feel like a princess. Everyone (from toddlers to grandmothers) was happy with their looks. Would 100% recommend!

April did both my hair and makeup for my wedding in 2021. We were originally supposed to get married in 2020, but we had to push back a few times and April was so understanding and extremely professional. I actually met April through my wedding planner and decided to transition to April for all of my cut and color appointments before my wedding in preparation for the big weekend. She knew how I wanted to wear my hair for the wedding weekend and colored my hair with that hairstyle in mind. On my wedding day, April made sure to have my makeup and hair perfect and was so patient and calm during the process. The exact energy you want on your wedding day. April was so amazing to work with that I ended up returning to April for multiple years after my wedding for both cut and color. If I hadn’t moved away from Austin, I’d still be going to April. She’s extremely patient and professional and restored the quality of my hair after many years of coloring damage. She also goes out of her way for her clients. For example, I had a last minute engagement photo session and April made time to do both my hair and makeup for it. She also was willing to come to my home to do my color when I was postpartum with my first child.

I had a great time with the makeup artists! They were super sweet and very funny. My makeup looked amazing and stayed on the entire wedding. I wasn’t a huge fan of the hair style at first but they were very sweet and were able to accommodate and fix it to suite my style. I felt beautiful!

It was so important to me to find a HMU team that didn't have a heavy hand when it came to makeup. Shirley was so kind and helpful. She was very responsive over email and we even shared a conversation about how important wedding makeup is that you still look like yourself. She truly did a perfect job of making me look and feel beautiful and I never felt odd or awkward at the amount of makeup I had on. She and Perla did my hair + makeup and my bridesmaids HMU and we all had such a great experience. Perla did my hair exactly how I had pictured it and it stayed all night despite lots of dancing! :) I am so thankful for the Adore team and cannot recommend them enough!
