As a first time working with a hair/makeup specialist, Something Beautiful Hair & Makeup was a memorable experience for my wedding ceremony. Their cost was the best deal with a trial period included (highly recommend a test run before the event). Amber was great at connecting quickly and was accommodating with additional hair accessories. Her stylist she connected with me was fantastic and fun. She went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied in the service. My parents and I were proud of her work quality. We love to have this company contribute to such a special day!

Katy did my hair and makeup for my elopement and she exceeded all expectations I could have had for myself to look and feel!! I am not one who normally wears a lot of makeup, so I didn’t really have an exact vision of what I wanted. Katy made me feel so at ease by taking the lead but giving me options during the whole getting ready process. I felt like myself in the end, but polished and confident! We had a long day that day, and I was shocked when looking at the mirror at the end of the night and not one hair was out of place nor were there any imperfections in my makeup! I am so happy that Katy played such a huge part in my wedding day. I can’t imagine having a more calm and fun getting ready experience for that day.

I had the absolute best experience with LUX for my wedding day! I had a large bridal party to accommodate, and LUX was extremely efficient and organized when it came to communicating and scheduling the appropriate number of artists. The entire process from inquiry, to my bridal trial, to wedding day, was all seamless and stress-free. Additionally, all of the LUX hair and makeup artists are extremely talented and friendly. They heard and accommodated every request, and me and all of my girls looked incredible on the big day.

OUTSTANDING! I am a wedding planner and coordinator in the Austin area and one thing that makes me job easy is working with business like this who are attentive, professional, timely, & friendly! Working with this team made the day flow easily because they got each of the ladies feeling good energy for the day ahead AND the made sure that we were ahead of time for the day of itinerary! So appreciative!

I discovered Sam through a mutual friend and used her for both hair and make-up. Not only was Sam on time, she was a delight and very professional. I have since used her for several years for various events and know I will look and feel my best (while still looking like me and not over the top) with her in my corner! Highly recommended her!

I had a great time with the makeup artists! They were super sweet and very funny. My makeup looked amazing and stayed on the entire wedding. I wasn’t a huge fan of the hair style at first but they were very sweet and were able to accommodate and fix it to suite my style. I felt beautiful!

Lola Beauty was absolutely incredible for hair and makeup on my wedding day! They worked their magic on me, my six bridesmaids, and my mom, and everyone looked like the best, most glammed-up versions of themselves. What impressed us most was how flawless everything stayed—typically, my best friend and I have to touch up our makeup after something like this, but with Lola Beauty, not a single touch-up was needed all day. The team was professional, attentive, and truly listened to what each person wanted, making everyone feel comfortable and beautiful. Kaitlin was especially amazing with my bridal hair—she completely nailed the look I was dreaming of—and Lauren was an absolute rockstar with my bridal makeup. I felt so confident and radiant! If you're getting married and want a talented, reliable, and all-around wonderful team, I cannot recommend Lola Beauty enough. They’re the best!

It was so important to me to find a HMU team that didn't have a heavy hand when it came to makeup. Shirley was so kind and helpful. She was very responsive over email and we even shared a conversation about how important wedding makeup is that you still look like yourself. She truly did a perfect job of making me look and feel beautiful and I never felt odd or awkward at the amount of makeup I had on. She and Perla did my hair + makeup and my bridesmaids HMU and we all had such a great experience. Perla did my hair exactly how I had pictured it and it stayed all night despite lots of dancing! :) I am so thankful for the Adore team and cannot recommend them enough!

I’m so glad Jen and her team did the hair and makeup for my wedding! I was happy with how it looked after a trial, but on the day of the wedding they came with additional ideas based on the trial that made it even better. Jen suggested some tweaks to the hairstyle I originally envisioned based on what she thought would look best, and she was completely right. I also wanted natural looking makeup and the artist, Jesse, managed to do it in a way that both looked natural in person and photographed beautifully. Additionally, I had 8 bridesmaids getting hair and makeup done and they kept the schedule running smoothly, plus everyone loved how their hair and makeup looked.
