I had Chantale from Events in a Crunch coordinate my wedding day-of. She was a blessing on the big day. She came early, sorted through all of our boxes with our decor we brought from home, kept us on schedule, and helped me remain as calm as possible. My only regret is not having two of her!

Sammi is a complete planning rockstar in her ability to help us plan our dream wedding at the Four Seasons Hotel in Kyoto, Japan. There will never be any adequate words that reflect her level of professionalism, flexibility and dedication to us during the entire process. We started planning our wedding two years in advance as we are from San Francisco, CA, and the Japanese language barrier and customs proved to be a challenge. With Sammi's help, we were able to blend both American and Japanese traditions effortlessly as her wealth of knowledge about the Japanese wedding industry and professional connections with vendors helped us tremendously achieve the dreamiest Kyoto wedding beyond our expectations. Sammi is an invaluable partner and we highly recommend her for all of your full service planning needs. She is well worth her weight by simply being available, an expert listener and is willing to learn and adapt, there is nothing she cannot do! Her ability to attune to our needs and wishes by being an expert communicator was absolute paramount in planning our special day. Sammi is a gem!

If you are reading this, the universe has led you to the right place and the right wedding planner. It’s rare that you meet someone so professionally talented, genuinely caring about her work and clients, and top class at making the impossible come together so effortlessly. When we were looking for a planner, we were hoping for someone with a list of proven vendors and connections, and someone who could manage on the ground operations because we lived out of state. What we got in addition to that was a dear friend who truly saw us for who we were and what makes us happy, a visionary with a bi-weekly part of our lives, and a trusted partner there help us make a magical wedding that felt and looked like us. She WILL NOT let you fail. Krystal plays 4D chess and will always catch you. Crazy examples: 1. She remembered to flag that an exit sign would be potentially in the angle of our cake photos with our table layout months after we actually went on the venue tour — she’s always thinking of every detail to make things perfect. 2. She texted us that we would be late to a cake tasting that my fiancé and I were doing independently, having remembered the opening hours of one of hundreds of cake places and mentally geolocating us on the side of town with traffic patterns. Again, not gonna let you fail. 3. She remembered changes that would affect other decisions down the line, like how a pattern change to the invites would bump deliverables and mean we needed to renegotiate hotel block dates. 4. Every vendor we chose unpromptedly gushed about working with her and we were able to secure flexibilities that saved us a lot of money. 5. So much of wedding planning is emotional decision-making, and Krystal predicted and smoothed bumps in the road based on our families and personalities. She’d be the first to remember offhand comments months later, like a father’s favorite pie flavor or noticing how much we gushed about our nieces and nephews and scheduling a special photo moment for us. 6. It literally flash flooded the morning of our outdoor wedding and I would have otherwise been in tears had Krystal not figured out a plan that -shockingly- was better than our original ceremony plan. It will be a journey planning your wedding, and we know ours was special, minimally stressful, emotionally fulfilling, and a perfect reflection of us and our families because of Krystal. Okay y’all go email her now!!

Samantha was a joy to work with and created such a beautiful day for my husband and I! I appreciated each of the planning calls in the months leading up to our wedding, and Sam was SO organized with Google docs and spreadsheets. She was quick to answer questions and gave me so much peace of mind about the day! With a surprise rain shower happening an hour before our outdoor ceremony, Sam worked to flip the space, dry seats, and re-set tables flawlessly! I remember asking her what I could do to help and she sternly told me to go back inside and not to worry about it. :) The decor was set up perfectly, her additional day-of assistant was so sweet, and Sam kept surprising us with little touches like fresh glasses of champagne right after the ceremony while Ben and I had a moment to ourselves! Highly recommend connecting with Samantha and partnering with her if you have the chance!

Erin is wonderful to work with! She was very responsive and was always available to talk on the phone if we had any questions or concerns. She made our vision for the wedding come out perfectly and has a great eye for design. She also did a wonderful job on the florals and signage which helped us save money in our budget for other things. Very thankful to have went with her for our wedding!

From the moment we met Jazmin, we knew we were in the best hands. She was so down-to-earth, incredibly responsive, and truly a joy to work with. Throughout the entire planning process, she made everything feel effortless and fun. There were no details too small and she always made us feel completely supported. On the day of our wedding, Jazmin was a total rockstar!! She was everywhere at once — calm, collected, and so caring — making sure every moment flowed perfectly. We never had to worry about a thing. Her energy and kindness made such an impact not just on us, but on our guests too. It’s easy to say everyone loved her! We hired Barbara's Brides as a day-of-coordinator for our August 2020 wedding, which was ultimately moved to May 2021 because of the pandemic, after our venue coordinator recommended her. Barbara is well-established in the Austin wedding community. I had no doubt that she and her team could pull off anything with their experience and connections. Because of this, I was relieved that I didn’t have to worry about missing details or checking things off my list because I knew Barbara would make sure things were addressed. Barbara provided a preferred list of vendors early in the process, which was super helpful in reviewing and deciding on our many options, though many of our vendors were not on her list. She preemptively checked on us during the pandemic, moved our date with no issues, shared a wedding checklist, shared a wedding timeline with me and the vendors in advance of the big day, and after the wedding, she ensured I received a reimbursement for services not rendered by one of the vendors. She was especially kind when she gave us a lovely Driskill cookbook, which we decided to use as our wedding guestbook. Barbara's associate Gerad ran the day-of coordination and did a fabulous job. There were a few small details that I would have changed, but in the grand scheme they didn't matter, and certainly without Barbara and Gerad, our wedding wouldn’t have turned out so great. I am very grateful to have found such a professional and established team that pulled together all the major details while allowing me to enjoy and soak in the day.
