I found Jennifer Ashford of Altar Ego Wedding through The Knot. I interviewed several people before deciding to go with Jennifer, and it was the second-best decision I've ever made (the first was saying yes to my now-husband). Jennifer is the perfect amount of assertive and decisive. I never felt overwhelmed because I knew Jen was taking care of everything. My wedding was more perfect than I could have ever hoped for. Her industry know-how and professional but personable demeanor made everything feel easy. She knew exactly what to do all the time, and I had complete faith in her to be a good steward of my wedding. Our wedding was in October 2025, and since then, I have attended a few more. I know I’m completely biased, but having a good wedding planner can completely set you apart. The pacing of my wedding was immaculate. There were no awkward lulls; everything went smoothly on the day of. If anything, the best reason to have a wedding planner is to have someone on your team who knows the industry intimately. Every time I mentioned Jen to a vendor, they had nothing but positive things to say about her, which truly demonstrates how seriously Jen takes these industry connections. ​ Everyone I've talked to and everyone my parents have talked to about my wedding has said that my wedding was one of the nicest weddings they’ve ever been to, and I don’t think they are just blowing smoke. I’m so glad I chose Altar Ego Weddings and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a wedding planner!

We hired Kylie Knight with Wedding Day Girl and she was nothing short of Gods gift to Earth for our wedding!!! Kylie from day 1 was organized, calm, and was just genuinely a very kind and professional person to communicate and work with. I had interviewed several other planners/events companies prior to deciding on Wedding Day Girl, and I must say, I was immediately impressed with the level of expertise and true dedication to their craft that I experienced when speaking with Amina and Kylie. Many planners out there take percentage cuts of quite literally ANY vendor you book, or charge atrocious hourly rates to ask questions. That is NOT THE CASE with WDG. You get as many calls, emails, and recommendations you want included with all of their packages. This was SO refreshing to experience after constantly feeling “let down” or like I couldn’t afford a “good” coordinator in my search. Kylie helped us navigate the planning processes and wedding day with ease. She caught details we never thought of, asked questions on our behalf, and truly turned our ideas into something even better than I could have ever imagined. On our wedding day, Kylie was everywhere at once— coordinating vendors, managing the timeline, and quietly handling any surprises so we could just relax and enjoy the day. If there were hiccups, I had no clue because Kylie handled everything so smoothly. Our ceremony and reception flowed perfectly, with Kylie at the center of making that happen. We have had so many compliments on how amazing our wedding was and that’s 10000000% thanks to Kylie. If you are on your search for an incredible day of/month of/full planning coordinator, look no further than Kylie and Wedding Day Girl. Kylie, Hunter and I can’t thank you enough for EVERYTHING! We had Brittney with Pearl Events for our big day in February. Everything was absolutely perfect! Brittney was responsive, creative, and reassuring. She helped us find great vendors, add beautiful details to our day, and ran the wedding day so smoothly! She really helped us make the day special and was such a calming presence on the day of the wedding. We recommend Brittney and Pearl to anyone planning a wedding!

Iby did an amazing job with “day of” coordination for our wedding. I say ‘day of’ because she did so much more! Great communication, very organized, and even had a stash of decor from prior weddings that we were able to use. I’d hire Iby again!

We highly recommend Jennifer! I was a complete mess and her calm, cool demeanor backed with her knowledge and skills made my day a day we will never forget! Amazing communication and we felt very well taken care of. Thank you Jennifer!

Valerie Miller Events is truly the best in Texas! Our daughters May 17, 2025 wedding was amazing! Valerie found the perfect venue at the perfect price for us. Her experience and years in the business provided us with vendors who were attentive, professional & dependable, which made the planning process with Valerie worry free and fun. I must add the flowers were gorgeous! Don't bother shopping around, Valerie does it all in style within your budget.

We had our Telugu wedding in Austin in December 2025, and working with Cheryl over the 14 months leading up to it was one of the best decisions we made. From day one, she was incredibly communicative, organized, and genuinely invested in making our vision come to life. Planning an Indian wedding can be complex, but Cheryl’s experience really showed. She always had thoughtful suggestions, helped us navigate vendor decisions, and made the entire process feel so much more manageable. One thing that really stood out was how highly all of our vendors spoke about Cheryl and her team. It gave us so much confidence knowing we were in such good hands. Rohit was also amazing during the wedding week. He was so hands-on and always around when we needed anything. From early mornings to late nights, the team was there for whatever came up, big or small. Cheryl was not just a planner, but a true partner throughout this journey. We genuinely couldn’t have pulled off such a seamless and beautiful celebration without Cheryl, Rohit, and the Glitzzy Events team. So grateful for them!

We hired Austin Occasions servers and bartenders and every single one of them was AMAZING! We had a rain plan and a no-rain plan, and as it is Texas, the weather decided to do its own thing, which meant we went with neither plan! All the staff were extremely helpful in setting up what was needed and making changes on the fly, all while still providing an excellent experience for us and our guests. Would definitely hire again for future events!

I could say a million great things about Kate and her team. But to summarize - she brought our ridiculous idea to life. We dreamt of hosting our loved ones at our family ranch, which is a working cattle ranch. We hired her and had truly no idea how much work it was going to be. Kate designed and executed the event flawlessly. We received so much positive feedback from the level of detail and creativity behind the entire day to what great shape the property was in following the wedding. She juggled communication with me, my family and my fiancé’s family throughout the entire process and brought incredible vendors to the table. For an event in the middle of nowhere, guests literally asked us if this is normally a wedding venue due to how seamless everything appeared. From the bottom of our hearts; thank you Wild Sky Events!

Shea was wonderful to work with! Her communication was clear, timely, and reassuring throughout the process, and she was always incredibly responsive. On the wedding day, she was flexible, organized, and handled every detail seamlessly!
