I found Jennifer Ashford of Altar Ego Wedding through The Knot. I interviewed several people before deciding to go with Jennifer, and it was the second-best decision I've ever made (the first was saying yes to my now-husband). Jennifer is the perfect amount of assertive and decisive. I never felt overwhelmed because I knew Jen was taking care of everything. My wedding was more perfect than I could have ever hoped for. Her industry know-how and professional but personable demeanor made everything feel easy. She knew exactly what to do all the time, and I had complete faith in her to be a good steward of my wedding. Our wedding was in October 2025, and since then, I have attended a few more. I know I’m completely biased, but having a good wedding planner can completely set you apart. The pacing of my wedding was immaculate. There were no awkward lulls; everything went smoothly on the day of. If anything, the best reason to have a wedding planner is to have someone on your team who knows the industry intimately. Every time I mentioned Jen to a vendor, they had nothing but positive things to say about her, which truly demonstrates how seriously Jen takes these industry connections. ​ Everyone I've talked to and everyone my parents have talked to about my wedding has said that my wedding was one of the nicest weddings they’ve ever been to, and I don’t think they are just blowing smoke. I’m so glad I chose Altar Ego Weddings and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a wedding planner!

From the very beginning, we knew we wanted our wedding to be more than just a weekend of events—we wanted to create an experience that reflected who we are and brought joy to all our guests. Thanks to Cheryl, Rohit, Simran, and the entire Glitzzy Events team, that dream became a reality—and truly, it was beyond anything we could have imagined. Planning a destination wedding from Vancouver, while having no family or friends in Austin, was a daunting thought. But Cheryl made what could have been a stressful process feel seamless and even exciting. Her calm presence, creativity, and incredible organizational skills turned every challenge into an opportunity to make things even better. Over three unforgettable days, we celebrated five events—a warm Welcome Dinner, a traditional Grah Shanti/Haldi, a vibrant Sangeet, a breathtaking Wedding ceremony, and an elegant, travel-themed Reception. Each event felt distinct, yet beautifully cohesive, thanks to Cheryl’s attention to detail and her team’s flawless execution. She not only understood our vision, but elevated it with thoughtful touches that reflected our personalities and cultures. From decor and food to vendor coordination and timing, everything ran like clockwork. Throughout the planning journey, Cheryl was more than our planner—she was our guide, confidant, and at times, our superhero. She navigated the emotions of wedding planning with empathy, supported us through our ups and downs, and always ensured we felt heard and cared for. Her communication and commitment gave us peace of mind every step of the way. Our guests flew in from across the U.S., Canada, and even Belgium, and days later, we were still receiving messages like, “I haven’t danced like this in decades,” and “This was the best wedding I’ve ever been to.” Hearing that from the people we love most was the ultimate gift, and it’s all thanks to the hard work and passion of the Glitzzy team. Cheryl and Rohit started out as our wedding planners—but by the end, they became our family. We cannot recommend Glitzzy Events highly enough to anyone looking for a truly special and unforgettable wedding experience. WE LOVE GLITZZY! ❤️

I cannot say enough about Donna and Sierra! They were absolutely amazing to work with and made the entire wedding planning such a breeze (seriously, a no stress wedding). They were always quick to respond to emails, questions. The day of our wedding, they took care of EVERYTHING from set-up to clean-up while I laid back (aha) and got pampered by my HAMU crew! Everything was perfect and as far as I know, it went perfectly with nothing going wrong!

I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about Abi and Pearl Events. From the very beginning, Abi went above and beyond to make sure our wedding day was everything we dreamed of and more. Her professionalism, attention to detail, organization, and calm presence made the entire planning process feel seamless. Abi has such a gift for taking your vision and bringing it to life in the most beautiful way. She listened so carefully to what was important to us and made sure every detail reflected that. On the wedding day, she handled everything behind the scenes flawlessly so we could be fully present and soak in every moment without stress or worry. Her communication was clear, timely, and thoughtful throughout the entire process. She coordinated vendors, managed timelines, and solved any small hiccups with such grace. That level of dedication is priceless. Pearl Events is truly top-tier. Cierra was an absolute god-send from start to finish of our wedding! Beginning right after signing our contract, she diligently helped us with so much from very small details to the overall strategic direction. We're so grateful for her support and truly couldn't have had our dream wedding without her. She was so kind, calm, and patient at every step and really gave us dedicated time and attention to ensure everything was well thought through and that everything would be executed well. She has excellent attention to detail and really helped us de-stress as the final weeks became quite busy. She managed so much with all the complexity of bringing in 17+ vendors and made it look easy :) Thank you Cierra and the team for your excellent support and care in bringing our vision to reality - we're SO GRATEFUL for you!!!

Iby was incredible. She was extremely informed and knew all of the ins and outs of wedding planning. She helped my husband, family, and I stay on top of deadlines and always had everything organized and ready to go! She coordinated with all the different vendors and made everything as simple and possible for our special day! She really went above and beyond for us, and I cannot be more grateful. On the day of the wedding, she was there organizing and orchestrating everyone and making sure everything went off without a hitch! Her insight and thoughtful approach were essential to get through all of the organizational aspects of wedding planning. From picking the dining sets, thinking through everything, and even tying the streamers on the fairywands for the farewell photos! We couldn't be happier, and will ABSOLUTELY be recommending Iby to anyone planning their wedding. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Camille and her staff made our wedding everything that we could’ve dreamed! We used her services for Day-Of Coordinating and staffing. We had been feeling extremely out of our depth with wedding planning. We had a ton of family coming in from out of town and we were concerned about getting everyone there, getting all the materials there, and we felt like we were losing sight of the actual goal: to get married. Camille made the day so easy for us. All the worries and concerns that had been building up in the months leading up to the wedding felt heard and understood from our very first meeting. She asked us all the right questions, and made the whole thing seem doable, and more than that actually made the whole wedding doable. My wife and I tend to be planners so everyone was very concerned about us actually kicking back and enjoying our wedding instead of micromanaging everything from the sidelines. From the moment we arrived at the venue on the big day, it was clear that everything was taken care of! My mom rolled up with a trailer filled to the brim with all our wedding things, and Camille and her staff took over arranging everything including our archway exactly as we had pictured it! She followed all of our requests and anything that we didn’t explicitly discuss was arranged beautifully without adding any additional stress to our plates. Throughout the night her staff was professional and accommodating. They handled set up of everything for the wedding including the archway, decorations for the ceremony, table settings, the welcome table, as well as serving the food, providing bartenders, and putting everything away at the end of the night. We got endless compliments from our friends and family over how beautifully everything was done and we were blown away ourselves! Camille made sure we were taken care of with everything for the night. She made sure we had plates of food once dinner was started, she kept us hydrated, and kept us on our timeline so we didn’t miss out on photography, cake cutting, and every other event we had outlined. Overall, I would absolutely recommend Austin Occasions to anyone getting married. It was so worth it!

I could say a million great things about Kate and her team. But to summarize - she brought our ridiculous idea to life. We dreamt of hosting our loved ones at our family ranch, which is a working cattle ranch. We hired her and had truly no idea how much work it was going to be. Kate designed and executed the event flawlessly. We received so much positive feedback from the level of detail and creativity behind the entire day to what great shape the property was in following the wedding. She juggled communication with me, my family and my fiancé’s family throughout the entire process and brought incredible vendors to the table. For an event in the middle of nowhere, guests literally asked us if this is normally a wedding venue due to how seamless everything appeared. From the bottom of our hearts; thank you Wild Sky Events!
