As a photographer, having a good coordinator at a wedding is crucial! I'm always so happy to know that I'll be working with her when I show up at at wedding since she helps everything run smoothly so that I can focus on getting the best photos possible. Sam brings tons of experience after years of running events and working with venues across Austin, and it shows. She's fantastic at anticipating logistical needs and finding solutions. Most of all though, she gets the job done with kindness and a great attitude. I wish I could give her 10 stars!

I found Samantha at a bridal expo and hired her initially to help me secure a venue. However, after working with her for a short time on that task, I was so blown away by her above and beyond research, resources and communication that I knew I needed her in my corner for the wedding day too - so I hired her as my coordinator. I’m still in shock about just how much WORK she put in for our event. She is an incredibly valuable asset to have, no matter how big or small your event. The digital planning tools she provided were beyond useful and her seamless orchestration of my long vendor list was a huge help. On the actual day, she and her assistant were magic. They oversaw setup, helped with decor, kept us rolling on schedule and were just so joyful. Our wedding was anything but simple: New Year’s Eve, outdoor night time ceremony, hundreds of candles, multiple surprise elements, a gameshow and tons of vendors. And yet it went off without a hitch. Samantha even saved my bouquets which I forgot in the hustle and bustle of leaving and brought them to me the next day. ANGEL!!!

Samantha was a joy to work with and created such a beautiful day for my husband and I! I appreciated each of the planning calls in the months leading up to our wedding, and Sam was SO organized with Google docs and spreadsheets. She was quick to answer questions and gave me so much peace of mind about the day!
With a surprise rain shower happening an hour before our outdoor ceremony, Sam worked to flip the space, dry seats, and re-set tables flawlessly! I remember asking her what I could do to help and she sternly told me to go back inside and not to worry about it. :)
The decor was set up perfectly, her additional day-of assistant was so sweet, and Sam kept surprising us with little touches like fresh glasses of champagne right after the ceremony while Ben and I had a moment to ourselves!

To say Samantha Been was a vital part of my wedding running smooth would be an understatement. She went above and beyond when it came to making sure I had all the resources and information needed to make decisions. She helped keep things organized and used her expert opinion to steer us in the right direction. We picked a date and had to plan a wedding and rehearsal dinner with a time crunch and it went seamlessly with her guidance. We met several times working through the vision, the timeline, what needed to get booked next, what recommendations I needed if any. We met Samantha at the Bridal Expo in Austin, a very helpful event that every bride/family/planner should attend something like at least once. She reached out to me afterwards and appreciated me replying to her even though we weren't orig. looking for a venue in Austin (one of her specialties) We asked how she felt about a Day of Event planner and she agreed to do it because she's actually leaning in that direction for her new career path! She jumped right in since we already had all of our vendors, venues & most of our itenerary planned. We texted, emailed and had a video meeting w/our daughter & now, son-in-law :) Did I mention we parents were tasked w/most of the planning as the happy couple live out of state?! But it went off w/o a hitch because Samantha came in at just the right time & helped us so much! We were able to focus on our daughter during the ceremony while she handled the processional & music (streamed via cell phone) w/a friend of ours. And then she oversaw the caterers and music at the reception. She was professional, courteous and worked tirelessly to help us package the leftovers and clean up after the event. Samantha stepped in and took over as if she had always known us and that isn't easy to do after just a few meet & greets.
