Experience
Michelle McMillan is an experienced and highly trained cosmetologist who had many years of experience in the industry before opening Mission Stylehouse. She studied at Avenue Five Institute, earning Sassoon Cutting Certification and cosmetology license. She then went on to study advanced makeup techniques under celebrity makeup artist James Ryder, and hair styling training through Bumble and Bumble. She has worked for over 300 weddings, and her work has been featured in many local and national publications.

Amazing partners!

Mission Stylehouse was so great to work with! Their team was amazing at making us look beautiful, with hair and makeup staying put on a hot day and helping with touch-ups. In some cases, we didn’t give them much direction on what we were looking for and they still knocked it out of the park. And when I needed to add services at the last minute, the team was flexible to make it happen. Chloe was great to work with in planning, and Sarah and Kaitlin made us all look beautiful!

Loved my wedding day look

The Mission Stylehouse team did an incredible job on my wedding day hair and makeup. I felt like myself but just a bit glammed up and my makeup looked fantastic in photos. It rained on our wedding day and through all of the moisture, and then the eventual dancing inside, my hair and makeup held up really well. The team was so easygoing and helpful - would definitely recommend!

Great team & beautiful work

I used Mission Stylehouse for my bridal portraits & wedding day hair & makeup. They did mine as well as all my bridesmaids and 3 moms. Chloe was my makeup artist and she was so sweet and tweaked my makeup based off of my feedback. I was nervous about it being overdone as I don’t normally wear a ton of makeup, but she did my makeup so beautifully to just enhance my natural features. All of my girls were impressed with her skills as well! Xena was our hairstylist and she was also very kind and listened to any feedback we had on our hair to make it exactly what we wanted. Again, all of my girls were super impressed with her skills! So happy I found Mission Stylehouse. I felt so beautiful on my big day, thanks to them!

Wonderful job!!

Veronica a did an amazing job for my rehearsal hair and makeup and my wedding day makeup! Laura also did a wonderful job on my wedding day hair! I was sooo pleased with it all and felt so beautiful on my wedding day!!! I highly recommend! Thank you!

Great hair & makeup!

I found Mission Stylehouse at the recommendation of my wedding planner with Lovely Day Events. They were very responsive and great to work with! I’m so glad that I did a trial for hair and makeup since it was very helpful to try out some ideas and then make tweaks on the wedding day for the look that I wanted. Chloe did an amazing job on everyone’s makeup and was able to go more natural or more glam depending on the look that each person wanted. She had both a calm presence and was fun to be around. She was very attentive to my preferences and the changes that I wanted to make between my trial and the wedding day.

10/10 would recommend

Chloe (makeup) and Laura (hair) were both a pleasure to work with for my wedding! They both arrived on time to our Airbnb with all the needed beauty equipment and throughout the morning were either on time or even ahead of schedule which really eased my stress. Some of my bridesmaids wanted full coverage glam and others wanted a more natural look which was no problem for Chloe who was skillful in both styles. Similarly, some bridesmaids wanted a more modern loose curl/wave hair style while others wanted classic updos and Laura executed each style beautifully. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for hair or makeup styling for any event and especially for your bridal party!

Fun, supportive, creative & flexible team!

Loved every bit of my experience with Mission Stylehouse from working with Michelle to kick off the process to getting to know Chloe and Laura during my trial run and during the wedding. Such an awesome team at Mission Stylehouse. Everyone was incredibly warm, fun to talk with and made us feel so special on my wedding day. I was so impressed with the team's work, customer service and flexibility. I absolutely loved how my hair and makeup turned out for the wedding in Sept. Laura and Chloe were super open to feedback and made a few slight tweaks from the trail to the wedding day. Everything was perfect. Laura was even able to build an awesome hairpiece with loose flowers from my florist. It was super creative and exactly what I wanted. I highly recommend this team and felt confident about working with them though the entire process.

SO talented and fun!

Laura (hair) and Chloe (makeup) did my and my bridesmaids' hair and makeup for our wedding, and we ALL loved how our hair and makeup turned out! Laura and Chloe are both professional, talented, and so fun to work with. We laughed and enjoyed every second they were with us while we were getting ready. They also are so talented and can re-create whatever vision you have for your wedding day! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND them to anyone looking for hair and makeup for your wedding day!!

A stellar hair and makeup team!

Back when we first started researching hair and makeup artists for our wedding, we kept coming back to Mission. Michelle is a personable and professional business woman, and saved us when we asked her if we could set up a trial super last minute. Chloe is so sweet and accommodating! My partner and I both had airbrush makeup, as did many members of our bridal party, and we could not have been happier! Chloe knew exactly how to match our vision so that everyone got the look that they wanted, whether that was a lot of makeup or more minimalistic. We LOVED her! The same goes for Laura – I actually loved what she did with my hair way more than any Pinterest pictures I showed her! My hair stayed in place while looking relaxed – even after my bustle broke from so much dancing! We highly recommend this team for hair and makeup!

Beauty Gurus!

I had a really hard time finding a good fit for my makeup for our wedding. I was SO lucky to get connected to Chloe. From day one, Chloe was professional and timely, and answered all of my questions and calmed any worries I had. I really wanted a more 'natural' look, and was afraid that with so much makeup, I wouldn't look like myself. Chloe assured me that there would be no issue in achieving this.
Chloe was actually booked for another wedding later that day, and had her colleague, Makaela, handle the makeup services for my bridesmaids, moms and myself. Makaela knocked it out of the park! Everything was top-notch, and we were so grateful. The best part - it was traditional makeup, not airbrush, and everyone looked just as beautiful at the end of the night as they did at the beginning of the day.
Chloe was also so sweet to come and do touchups for us before the ceremony, which we were super appreciative of! I would highly recommend Chloe and Makaela to any future bride!
