The Mission Stylehouse team did an incredible job on my wedding day hair and makeup. I felt like myself but just a bit glammed up and my makeup looked fantastic in photos. It rained on our wedding day and through all of the moisture, and then the eventual dancing inside, my hair and makeup held up really well. The team was so easygoing and helpful - would definitely recommend! -

I used Mission Stylehouse for my bridal portraits & wedding day hair & makeup. They did mine as well as all my bridesmaids and 3 moms. Chloe was my makeup artist and she was so sweet and tweaked my makeup based off of my feedback. I was nervous about it being overdone as I don’t normally wear a ton of makeup, but she did my makeup so beautifully to just enhance my natural features. All of my girls were impressed with her skills as well! Xena was our hairstylist and she was also very kind and listened to any feedback we had on our hair to make it exactly what we wanted. Again, all of my girls were super impressed with her skills! So happy I found Mission Stylehouse. I felt so beautiful on my big day, thanks to them!Mission Stylehouse's reply:

I found Mission Stylehouse at the recommendation of my wedding planner with Lovely Day Events. They were very responsive and great to work with! I’m so glad that I did a trial for hair and makeup since it was very helpful to try out some ideas and then make tweaks on the wedding day for the look that I wanted. Chloe did an amazing job on everyone’s makeup and was able to go more natural or more glam depending on the look that each person wanted. She had both a calm presence and was fun to be around. She was very attentive to my preferences and the changes that I wanted to make between my trial and the wedding day. -

Chloe (makeup) and Laura (hair) were both a pleasure to work with for my wedding! They both arrived on time to our Airbnb with all the needed beauty equipment and throughout the morning were either on time or even ahead of schedule which really eased my stress. Some of my bridesmaids wanted full coverage glam and others wanted a more natural look which was no problem for Chloe who was skillful in both styles. Similarly, some bridesmaids wanted a more modern loose curl/wave hair style while others wanted classic updos and Laura executed each style beautifully. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for hair or makeup styling for any event and especially for your bridal party! -

Loved every bit of my experience with Mission Stylehouse from working with Michelle to kick off the process to getting to know Chloe and Laura during my trial run and during the wedding. Such an awesome team at Mission Stylehouse. Everyone was incredibly warm, fun to talk with and made us feel so special on my wedding day. I was so impressed with the team's work, customer service and flexibility. I absolutely loved how my hair and makeup turned out for the wedding in Sept. Laura and Chloe were super open to feedback and made a few slight tweaks from the trail to the wedding day. Everything was perfect. Laura was even able to build an awesome hairpiece with loose flowers from my florist. It was super creative and exactly what I wanted. I highly recommend this team and felt confident about working with them though the entire process. -

Laura (hair) and Chloe (makeup) did my and my bridesmaids' hair and makeup for our wedding, and we ALL loved how our hair and makeup turned out! Laura and Chloe are both professional, talented, and so fun to work with. We laughed and enjoyed every second they were with us while we were getting ready. They also are so talented and can re-create whatever vision you have for your wedding day! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND them to anyone looking for hair and makeup for your wedding day!! -

Back when we first started researching hair and makeup artists for our wedding, we kept coming back to Mission. Michelle is a personable and professional business woman, and saved us when we asked her if we could set up a trial super last minute. Chloe is so sweet and accommodating! My partner and I both had airbrush makeup, as did many members of our bridal party, and we could not have been happier! Chloe knew exactly how to match our vision so that everyone got the look that they wanted, whether that was a lot of makeup or more minimalistic. We LOVED her! The same goes for Laura – I actually loved what she did with my hair way more than any Pinterest pictures I showed her! My hair stayed in place while looking relaxed – even after my bustle broke from so much dancing! We highly recommend this team for hair and makeup! -

I had a really hard time finding a good fit for my makeup for our wedding. I was SO lucky to get connected to Chloe. From day one, Chloe was professional and timely, and answered all of my questions and calmed any worries I had. I really wanted a more 'natural' look, and was afraid that with so much makeup, I wouldn't look like myself. Chloe assured me that there would be no issue in achieving this.
Chloe was actually booked for another wedding later that day, and had her colleague, Makaela, handle the makeup services for my bridesmaids, moms and myself. Makaela knocked it out of the park! Everything was top-notch, and we were so grateful. The best part - it was traditional makeup, not airbrush, and everyone looked just as beautiful at the end of the night as they did at the beginning of the day.
Chloe was also so sweet to come and do touchups for us before the ceremony, which we were super appreciative of! I would highly recommend Chloe and Makaela to any future bride!

Laura + Chloe were SO kind and patient the entire day and made everything super easy. I could not have hoped for it to go any smoother...honestly...I thought there was going to be issues left and right (I'm cynical), but it was perfect!!! My bridesmaids + mom + niece were SO SO happy with their hair and make up. And, I could not stop smiling all day and night bc they did exactly what I wanted. I'm not great at verbalizing what I wanted but I would not have changed anything at all.
Michelle (Manager) has created such an awesome team and I am beyond excited I found them. She was thoughtful and patient throughout the planning process. I think I sent her over 10 timeline changes and she was super easy going and respectful.
We are not people who enjoy the limelight (attention freaks all of us out), but we never felt pressured or the least bit uncomfortable. And that was all because of all of the experience and professionalism of Mission Stylehouse. It speaks volumes for the future of their company! -

Chloe and Spenser are AWESOME
Michelle was so warm and easy to work with and she sent the best team! Chloe and Spenser made the day so much fun and relaxed, while staying completely professional. We absolutely loved working with them and everyone looked beautiful for the wedding! Everything held through the dancing and tears and I couldn't recommend them more! -

The girls where so sweet and kind and professional . I have never felt so beautiful . The team and owner are 5 stars in my book. Mission Stylehouse was so flexible with us when we had to reschedule our wedding date twice. I also decided the week of my wedding to add hair and makeup services for my entire wedding party (9 people!) They were able to quickly schedule two hair stylists and two makeup artists for our big day and it was one of the best decisions we made! Bri and Sarah were amazing at hair and were able to accommodate the bridesmaids' varying hair needs. Makaela and Chloe were literal artists with our makeup! Def check them out for your wedding! -

Chloe and Laura did a phenomenal job on my hair and make-up. It was over 100 degrees and very humid in Austin for our (rescheduled due to Covid) August wedding. I thought it was guaranteed that I would look like a sweaty, drippy mess by the end of my wedding, but... along came Chloe and Laura! Not only did my make up and hair look amazing right when they did them (the perfect mix of natural enough that I didn't look like a weirdo and enough oomph to look good in pictures), but it HELD UP ALL NIGHT!! I was truly blown away and grateful that they could make that feat of magic happen.
They also were happy to follow my strict Covid preferences (masks + faceshields, one person at a time, one artist in the room at a time). Michelle was extremely helpful organizing the reschedule and managing Covid precautions. Very professional and on top of details.
I would take off half a star (if 4.5 stars were allowed) because Mission was less flexible with Covid rescheduling than my other vendors. Everyone else gave me an updated quote for the services I received and applied the payments I had made before Covid (reducing what was owed or issuing refunds). Mission wouldn't move my deposit to my new date (which meant $788 gone). They were willing to reduce the number of services since my bridesmaids could no longer come, but I paid over $1200 total for a trial run, bridal hair and make-up, and hair and make-up for my MOH, which is pretty bonkers. That said, I understand they're a small business trying to survive in a very tough time, but so are all the other vendors I worked with and they were much more flexible.
Overall, I would highly recommend them since their team is top notch, just be sure if you're having a wedding during Covid that you fully understand their rescheduling policies. -
