Jimmy at Gideon Photography is simply incredible! He captured the moment I proposed to my fiancé, followed by an engagement shoot—and we couldn’t be happier with the entire experience. From the start, Jimmy was super easy to communicate and work with. My fiancé and I had never done a formal photoshoot before, so we were a bit nervous about looking awkward, but Jimmy instantly made us feel comfortable and at ease.

What amazed us even more was how quickly he delivered the photos—just a 2-day turnaround! And wow, the photos were absolutely stunning. We couldn’t stop looking at them. Jimmy truly has a gift for capturing people in their best moments, and every image felt so natural and full of emotion.

We first worked with Jimmy during our "surprise" engagement - meaning it was a surprise for me, hired by my now husband, in Zion National Park. We loved those photos so much, we decided to hire him for our wedding that took place in Upstate New York. Jimmy killed it! It's pretty difficult to make a background full of still dead trees without any pretty leaves or flowers (things bloom later up north) so beautiful, but Jimmy was able to somehow really capture the beauty of it! He also really listened to certain shots, and certain areas of the venue we wanted captured. He captured almost every single moment of our weekend, and seriously every single person at our wedding. We have so many variations of pictures, and so many great ones, it's hard to even choose which ones to print! We seriously love every single photo. Jimmy was amazing, we def recommend him, and we would love to work with him in the future - if we lived in Utah we'd hire him every time we needed a photographer!

Choosing Jimmy as our engagement and wedding photographer was hands down the best wedding planning decision we made. For our engagement photos, Jimmy worked with us to find a surreal location near Zion National Park - and trekked all over with us for the perfect shots. I never imagined I could have photos like those. He made the whole process super easy with his welcoming personality. When it came to the wedding photos, Jimmy flew out to our venue near San Diego, CA and he got right to work. He knew exactly what photos the bride and groom want, and thought of ideas that hadn't even crossed my mind. My guests could not stop talking about how personable he was and how impressed they were that he was everywhere during the ceremony and reception. The wedding photos are absolutely breath-taking, and capture every single moment of that day. We were orginally bummed we didn't get a videographer, but now that we have the photos it doesn't make a difference, because Jimmy has made our wedding come back to life through his photography. I can't recommend his services highly enough - worth every penny!

We didn't know Jimmy and had scoured the internet and insta for our photographer. Well let me say- he was perfect! He lead us through pictures with ease, professionalism and humor. Our guests have even commented that he was charming and I can say enough good things about his work! I can NOT wait to see all of our pictures!!!
