The #1 most important thing to us at our wedding was the band, and the Dance Doctors absolutely knocked it out of the park. The dance floor was packed for the entire night, and over and over again people raved that they were the best wedding band they'd ever seen. Couldn't agree more!! Worth every penny and then some - don't hesitate to book them. Also all completely lovely and total pros.

Everything went great and we got numerous compliments on how great the quartet sounded during the ceremony and cocktail hour. DJ Keith also received compliments from every group at the wedding on how great he was at managing the dance floor and song selection to keep everyone dancing all night. Thanks again for being easy to work with and helping make our wedding perfect.

This band is the total package. We were blown away with their talent and charm. They were the glue to our intimate western wedding. We loved their laid-back vibe and professionalism. Our Jackson, Wyoming wedding was simply perfect and The Proper Way was a huge contributing factor in making our dream wedding come true! We would book them again and have them play longer as we truly enjoyed every minute!

As Madame Mackintosh began to sing the couple’s first dance song, it was as if the entire room held its breath, captivated by the depth of her voice. Her setlist, a thoughtful blend of original songs and beautifully reimagined covers, enriched the atmosphere and brought an emotional dimension to the celebration. Drawing from genres as diverse as pop, rock, country, and traditional wedding music, her repertoire showcased not only her versatility but her keen ability to capture the spirit of the moment. Madame Mackintosh’s voice ranged from a soft, velvety croon to a powerful, resonant anthem, filling the room with palpable energy. She effortlessly expressed the love and joy radiating from the bride and groom. Whether performing heartfelt ballads or upbeat dance numbers, she imbued each song with a warmth and authenticity that resonated deeply with everyone in attendance. What truly set her apart was her adaptability. Unlike DJs confined to their pre-selected playlists, Madame Mackintosh embraced spontaneity, taking requests from guests and even offering inspired suggestions that added personal and unexpected touches to the evening. Madame Mackintosh didn’t just perform; she became a part of the celebration’s heartbeat, leaving everyone in awe of her artistry.

We had this group perform (w/ April Meservy on vocals) for my August 2008 wedding. It was a great addition to creating the proper atmosphere for the wedding. They were easy to work with, not insanely inexpensive, dressed well for the occasion, etc. No regrets!

My family is still proud that we had The Daniel Day Trio at our Wedding. We still have the hand made arrangement of our First Dance that the Trio nailed. Thanks boys! Ed and Mary

A fantastic space for a reception venue! The Upstairs hall was by fay the most budget friendly of the other spaces we were considering, and is a beautiful modern looking space! The rentals are separate from the rental fee, but include setup and take down which made a HUGE impact on the ease of the setting up process. Upon arrival, the on site manager even offered to change the color of the lights over the stairs to whatever suited our theme, which I thought was awesome. We were able to play music through the speakers with an ipod. Our caterer even remarked how nice the kitchen was to work with. Most venues will require certain caterers to be used and place a penalty fee on you if you don't. Not at the Gallivan. I was able to shop around for my cake, linens, catering, etc, even rentals, and get the best deal. The team at the Gallivan was very responsive to my emails whenever I had even the most obscure question. They were even able to work with me when I wanted to push back the date for my final payment. The only complaint I have is that the full features are not explained very well by the booking team or on the website. For example, I didn't find out until very late in the game that the kitchen is not included and had to be rented separately. Or that I needed to supply an auxillary cord for the ipod (Which caused some last minute distress!) But overall I had a great reception here.

The Wedding Band carried out one of my life-long dreams of having live music at my wedding. We chose the acoustic set, which featured a mixture of oldies and classics for everyone to enjoy. My grandma came up to me and said, "I love that band! They're playing songs, I know!" They curated the perfect vibe for our rustic-themed wedding and we could not be happier with their performance. Easy to work with, extremely talented, and so amenable! 10/10 would recommend!

Emily performed at our technical college student gala. She communicated with me through the entire process to make sure our vision became reality. MANY of our guests commented on how lovely and beautiful the music was to set an elegant tone for our event. I rated Emily with all 5 stars because she truly was excellent!!
