Team
Gina Marie Osmond is a second-generation grandchild to the famous Osmond family of Ogden, Utah. Donny and Marie Osmond are her aunt and uncle. She is the daughter of Virl Osmond who is the eldest child of the family and born hearing impaired.
Gina has been singing and performing since the age of 5. Beginning her career on The Osmond Family Christmas show every year from 1975-1983 she performed and sang with her aunt and uncles and cousins--this is where she realized her love and talent for singing. In high school she created a pop/rock band with her brother Jared called Mr. Nice Guys and performed for local high school dances, church dances and teen venue locations throughout 1985 -1990. In 1994 moved out to Branson, MO to spend a year with her family at The Osmond Family Theater. Performing two shows a day to a sold-out 500 crowd every time—it was one of the most enjoyable experiences of her musical career.
Gina spent the next 15 years dabbling and performing here and there, but once her two kids were born, she decided to focus specifically on raising them. In 2017, with both her kids successfully raised and building their own families, Gina reentered performing and began singing again with several local Salt Lake City bands to finally build and launch her own band, The Gina Marie Osmond Band - The GMOB last year. Gina feels very lucky to have some of the most talented musicians in the local area with her on stage. The collective experience and expertise of the whole band together is explosive and certainly shows when on stage performing!
Today, Gina is also working on originals behind the scenes from the cover band performances and plans to release her first single in 2024. She has a holiday cover album and a few cover songs released on Spotify and iTunes and plans to cover and release a few Heart hits as well. After all, Heart is her favorite band...;)
Passionate guitarist since age 12, my musical journey began in church with acoustic melodies. At 13, my dad gifted me an electric guitar, leading me to explore the world of rock beyond the church walls. Embracing diverse genres, Brazilian music, especially bossa nova, holds a special place in my heart. From various bands, each experience has shaped the guitarist I am. Continuous learning fuels my journey, as I remain dedicated to evolving and refining my craft.
Megan is not new to the stage. In fact, she's been performing since she was 6. She started out doing musicals at a very young age and eventually went to college for musical theater at the University of Arizona. She graduated with a degree in Elementary teaching and Musical Theater. While in Tucson, she fronted several different bands. In 2013, she wrote her first EP titled "Sleep" with a top ranked band in Arizona, Vintage Sugar. After moving to Salt Lake City, she joined Channel Z and Timeless, both well known cover/corporate bands in surrounding cities and states on the west coast. When Megan is not on stage, she is a 4th grade teacher and Mom to her 8 year old son, Avi. She is honored to be playing with some of the best of the best in The GMOB today, including her fiance and #1 guitarist, Nate Nery.
