I hired Dallas for my day-of wedding makeup. She did my bridal makeup and 3 of my bridesmaids. I had a few notes following our trial and Dallas listened to everything! As a girlie who wears little makeup Dallas did an excellent job of making my makeup look natural but glamorous at the same time. Our wedding day was in the high 90s and my makeup lasted all day after sweating and crying.
Dallas also gave me an extra powder and lipstick for touch-ups throughout the day. HIGHLY recommend Dallas, she’s a true professional and just fun to be around.

We were the photographers for a recent wedding where Powder Inc Beauty did the hair and makeup. We LOVED the gorgeous, natural looks Powder Inc Beauty created for the bride and bridesmaids! This wedding had it all: multiple locations, wind, sun, happy tears, an epic dance floor etc. and the hair and makeup lasted through it all!

The makeup photographed beautifully and I know the Bride, Laura was just over the moon about her bridal look.

Powder Inc. was a DREAM to work with. Nicole did my mom’s, sisters’, and my makeup for my wedding; Karina did their hair. From day one, Powder Inc. was responsive to any questions I had. They were so kind, so professional, and made all of us feel like our best selves. I’d recommend them 100 times over.

I booked with Katelynn at Powder Inc for my wedding hair and makeup + trial and I had an amazing experience! Overall, she was very responsive through text when communicating my inspiration and vision for the trial and day of. She listened really well to what I wanted/asked for while also giving her professional opinion to highlight certain features of my face or create longer lasting hair. For the wedding day, there was a bad accident in route to our venue that Katelynn was stuck in that pushed our timeline back by one hour. Katelynn was extremely communicative, calling and texting me updates as she got through it. Once she arrived at the venue, Katelynn absolutely locked in and was able to finish all of our booked services, making up for any lost time. I also ended up switching my eye makeup from my trial to something different for the wedding day and Katelynn absolutely killed it! I came back to the hotel the night after the wedding, took one look in the mirror and realized that my hair and makeup stayed the entire night, through 2 hours on the dance floor at 75 degree weather. Thank you Katelynn!!!

Nicole did my makeup trial and wedding makeup. She nailed it for the wedding day and I couldn’t be happier with my experience with her and the Powder Inc. team. On top of her AMAZING makeup skills, she is a kind and fun person to be around which helped calm nerves the morning of the wedding 💛. She is the best.

I can’t believe it’s taken me this long to write this review — if you’re thinking about hiring Powder Inc., stop thinking and run, don’t walk!

Nicole, Sophia, and Alyssa did the hair and makeup for my bridal party this past June, and they absolutely knocked it out of the park. From start to finish, they were professional, kind, and so much fun to be around.

I was also so impressed by how much care they put into the pre-trial process. They provided super helpful guidance on how to prep my skin and hair ahead of time (seriously — read and follow the hair and makeup prep guides they send you!). They took the time to make sure everything was in place to allow them to give me my desired look. Nicole and Sophia were so thoughtful about assessing whether I had enough hair for the style I wanted, and walked me through the pros and cons of a few different styles when I was having a hard time deciding. Overall, they helped me land on the perfect choice and I felt supported, heard and completely confident going into the day.

On the day itself, Nicole was warm, attentive, and incredibly calming — truly a joy to spend the morning with. Sophia was sweet and lovely, and Alyssa brought such great energy to the room. I honestly feel so lucky to have booked them for such a special day.

As someone who’s pretty shy and can be a little awkward, I was nervous about being the centre of attention — but Nicole, Sophia, and Alyssa made me feel completely at ease. They created such a calm, encouraging, and welcoming space, and I genuinely enjoyed spending the morning with them.

Thanks to the Powder Inc. team, I’ve never felt more beautiful than I did on my wedding day. My mom, sister-in-laws, and bridesmaids all looked (and felt) amazing — everyone's hair and makeup looks were so thoughtfully tailored to each person and completely flawless. Not only were the looks beautiful but they lasted all day and night during my hot, fully outdoor summer wedding!

Oh, and getting to meet Nicole’s cat, Clark, during my trial made the whole thing worth it alone.

Working with Dallas and Katelyn was so easy and I could not have been happier how my hair and makeup turned out. 2 weeks before the wedding I texted Katelyn asking if I could revise my updo that we did at my trial a month prior. She was so accommodating and really worked through what I was wanting.
