I want to say 1,000 thank yous to Donna Rae and Victoria, for working with me, my 4 bridesmaids, my Mom and my fiancé’s Mom. I’ve never felt more beautiful!! Outside of some brief tears, I only touched up my under eye makeup once.  Everything stayed flawless and my curls held up even when the DJ played some of my favorite songs lol I’d like to highlight Donna Rae’s use of high quality products and her amazing ability to enhance your features, without overshadowing your natural beauty. I do not wear false lashes, but I wanted them for my wedding. She took her time in finding the right lashes and asked my opinion every step of the way.  She’s also genuinely kind and easy to talk to! In the days leading up to my wedding, I re-read her tips and advice from her Instagram (artistrybyvictoria). I wanted to give her the best “hair pallet” to work with, and ensure my hair was giving its best for the hair style we selected. I really appreciate Victoria expressing her opinions when it came to the half up-half down style I wanted. Thanks to her expertise, my hair stayed in place all the way to our send-off…through dancing, wardrobe change and a run-through when we left our reception.  I am BEYOND satisfied with their work and grateful to book with them.  I also want to extend a special thank you on behalf of my sister. Just before the ceremony she was a little emotional and told me “I feel so beautiful, so feminine and I’m just so excited to be here” She was so radiant and she never stopped smiling.  Donna Rae and Victoria, I’m so thankful for your time and the incredible work you put into my day.

I was skeptical of getting my hair and makeup done because the times I’ve gotten it done, I didn’t like it. I reviewed past work and loved the looks so knew I wanted to go through with this makeup and hair artist. While getting my hair and makeup done, she was very patient and flexible with me and made sure I was happy with everything all the way through. I would definitely get my hair and makeup done by her again. I felt the most beautiful I ever have on my wedding day and that is everything to me!!! Thank you again!

Lorena was a fantastic hair and makeup artist for my wedding! I don't typically wear makeup, and Lorena was super helpful in making my vision come true for our special day. The HMU trial was super helpful to connect and chat about what I was looking for. She was flexible as I continued to figure out what I wanted to do (veil/no veil, hair down/half up). On the day of, she and Kim did the HMU for myself, maid of honor and mothers. They were support and caring for each person's individual needs, and did a wonderful job. Highly recommend!

Kalina did an amazing job with my makeup! She was professional, friendly, and really listened to what I wanted. The final look was flawless and lasted all day. I highly recommend her

Isabel was so kind and offered to do two hair trials to make me feel better about the wedding day look I wanted. I am so thankful I was working with such a genuinely kind and talented artist. She helped do hair for me and all my bridesmaids and brought in a trusted 2nd person to help do bridesmaids hair since there were 9 of them. She came out to meet us at our getting ready spot and made the getting ready time a breeze 🩵

I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about Arianne. From the moment we connected, her warm, compassionate energy made me feel completely at ease. I’m someone who doesn’t wear much makeup day-to-day and wasn’t sure what I wanted for my wedding look—but Arianne was incredibly patient, intuitive, and helpful in guiding me toward something that felt authentic and beautiful. At my trial, I looked in the mirror and was blown away. She nailed it. I felt radiant, and it made me even more excited for the big day. On our wedding morning, Arianne came to the house where we were getting ready and brought the most joyful, calming presence. She’s so easy to talk to—fun, spunky, and kind—and she made everyone feel comfortable and cared for. She did makeup for eight of us that morning, and I was worried it might be too much, but she’s such a pro that we had time to spare and every single person looked stunning. Each bridesmaid wanted a slightly different look, and Arianne nailed every nuance. My girls were obsessed. She also did makeup for my mom, my stepmom, my fiancé’s mom, and my grandmother—and they all looked phenomenal. My grandma decided last-minute that she wanted her makeup done, and Arianne was so accommodating and gracious. She even offered a mom-and-grandma discount, which was such a thoughtful touch. Her communication throughout the entire process was impeccable—always prompt, clear, and reassuring. She made all of us feel gorgeous, inside and out, and I’m so grateful I got to work with her. Arianne is not only incredibly talented, but also so authentically kind. She is exactly the kind of person you want around on your wedding morning! If you’re looking for someone who brings both artistry and heart to your wedding day, Arianne is your girl. She works magic.

We worked with Aleana for our wedding, and she was very lovely! She did a great job of making us feel comfortable and at ease while she made both my wife and I look gorgeous. She did a great job making sure our hair stayed in place and our makeup was set to last, we even woke up looking great the next morning! We’ve had the honor of working with Ari Haynes with Velvet Venus and Beauty for over 3 years & she’s taken care of dozens of our brides (and their loved ones!). She’s always showed up, did a splendid job, left everyone in awe, and gave it all - even when shorter timelines were at play. She isn’t just an amazing hair and makeup artist… this is someone who will literally roll out of bed at 3 a.m. for a sunrise elopement and still have the energy to hype up a bride like it’s 2 p.m. Not impressed yet? Okay, how about this: she once climbed a mountain in Norway — hair kit in tow — just to keep two brides getting married that day looking flawless on a five-hour journey from mountaintop vows all the way down to a beachside celebration on the other side. 🤯 Oh, and because that wasn’t enough… she’s also hopped into a helicopter (yep, after saying “just in case, love you babe” to her guy 🙈) to do touch-ups in windy weather by a remote alpine lake. Like… who does that?! And when there’s no emergency beauty need? Don’t worry — Ari’s probably pulling together a last-minute charcuterie or finding another way to make someone’s day easier, because that’s just who she is. Always present, always giving 100%, always showing up for her brides. Ari has been part of countless EZ Elopements experiences over the years, and her commitment, energy, and love for what she does have made a lasting impression on countless couples over the years. Although EZ Elopements and Ari are now pursuing different paths professionally, I can say with full confidence that she remains an incredibly talented and dedicated artist. Oxana was the perfect choice for my bridal hair and makeup. Her work is amazing - very natural and radiant. I don't love being the center of attention and wedding planning can be very nerve-wracking, but Oxana has such a lovely, calm energy that I left the trial session very relaxed and confident. She took the time to understand what I was looking for and paid attention to every detail. We had communicated and confirmed everything well in advance and by my wedding day, getting ready was a breeze! I absolutely loved working with Oxana and highly recommend her for any occasion where you want to look your best!
