Lorena was a fantastic hair and makeup artist for my wedding! I don't typically wear makeup, and Lorena was super helpful in making my vision come true for our special day. The HMU trial was super helpful to connect and chat about what I was looking for. She was flexible as I continued to figure out what I wanted to do (veil/no veil, hair down/half up). On the day of, she and Kim did the HMU for myself, maid of honor and mothers. They were support and caring for each person's individual needs, and did a wonderful job. Highly recommend!

Eugenia did my hair and makeup for a black tie engagement party. I showed her inspiration pictures of the look I was going for and she captured it perfectly. She even went above and beyond to apply body makeup to add a beautiful glow to accentuate my strapless dress. I will definitely be going to Eugenia for all of my special occasion glam.

We worked with Aleana for our wedding, and she was very lovely! She did a great job of making us feel comfortable and at ease while she made both my wife and I look gorgeous. She did a great job making sure our hair stayed in place and our makeup was set to last, we even woke up looking great the next morning! I didn’t want to look overly done up, and Salon Maison understood that perfectly. My makeup enhanced my features and my hair felt soft and natural, not stiff or heavy. I still looked like me, just more polished and confident.

I procrastinated a bit on booking a hair and makeup artist, but am really happy with the services I received from Pacific Artistry! They let me schedule a trial before booking, and I booked right away after my trial. They traveled to my hotel on the day-of, accommodated my request of individual lashes vs. strip lashes, and the airbrush looked so natural. I'd recommend them to anyone looking for a hair and makeup artist in the Seattle area!

Since I am a regular customer of Gary Manuel Salon with stylist Patti, there was no question that I would go to them first for my wedding hair and makeup. Patti from the Salon took care of all hair, including myself (the bride), my three bridesmaids, and the mother of the bride. Krystal from the SLU Studio handled all of the same people’s makeup, and even took an extra request for the mother of the matron of honor. They did my bridal trials (one for makeup; one for hair) a few months before the wedding, taking their time to make sure I liked what I saw. I brought in pictures of looks I liked, and they used those for inspiration on my own special look. I also gave Patti pictures of my bridesmaids’ hair so she could get an idea of the different texture she would have to deal with for the first time on the wedding date. I also texted them pictures of my hair and makeup on the trial dates several hours later at the end of the day so they could see how well both lasted over time. On my wedding day, both Patti and Krystal showed up early and were set up by the time I walked into the preparation room. I and the rest of my party are the ones who were late! Both of them were very gracious and understanding, and immediately went to work under the time constraint. They were a steady flow of energy, even when the circuit broke several times on the hair tools and we had to move hair styling to a different outlet on the opposite end of the room. I don’t think there could have been a more trying day for longevity of style: the temperature reached a record high for that day of the year to the mid 90s, and I had to change my dress a few times during the reception. My makeup and hair both held up despite everything they had to go through. I did re-powder and re-spray a finishing spray on my face between pictures and the ceremony, but the upkeep really was minimal. Please do consider these two for your own special occasion!

Mollie and Jane at Pinup were great! Mollie did my hair and makeup while Jane did the bridesmaids hair. They were both able work fast enough to get through all four of us in two and a half hours and the results were amazing. Mollie was also easy to coordinate with for the trial run and their rates were great in comparison to other salons. Another thing I liked was their notification system that sends you text reminders of appointments and receipts.

Viktoriia did a fantastic job on my hair and makeup for our March wedding. She was calm, friendly, and took my feedback from the trial to heart, ensuring everything was perfect on the day. She also did my mom's and mother-in-law's hair and my mother-in-law's makeup. Everyone was thrilled with their looks!

Angela was so flexible with the changes I made to how many people need make up. I hired her for bridal and moms’ make up. My makeup was very natural and glowy which I requested. My mom who is very picky loved her makeup. Angela is very professional and arrived early. Time is so important on a wedding day and she finished quickly. She did a fantastic job and we were all very happy!

Tanya did my makeup for my engagement photos, and then I simply HAD to have her do my wedding makeup, as well! Makeup has a tendency to look too heavy on me, but Tanya did a wonderful job of making me look glam without going overboard. She is super receptive to feedback and really wants you to feel comfortable in and truly love your look! She is so sweet and easy to work with. Highly recommended!!
