Wedding Officiant in San Diego

My husband and I were planning an elopement to San Diego and hired Rick for our officiant. He was amazing from the start to the end. Very professional, personable, and performed a beautiful ceremony on the beach. The day could not have gone any better. Thank you for a making our day perfect Rick!!!

Pastor Chris was amazing to work with. We met with him two times over FaceTime calls before the wedding. Communication with him was easy, comfortable, and thorough. He made sure of our preferences when it came to his attire, certain phrases in the ceremony outline, and people involved in the ceremony. He also was clear on what we can expect on wedding day. He made an effort to touch base with our ring bearer, our witnesses, and my father who was walking me down the aisle. He was absolutely great during the ceremony with his thoughtful words and kind voice. He was so respectful to us and our family. He took care of our marriage license after the ceremony. I can’t recommend him enough. I’m so thankful for him and his work.

I have known Rabbi Yael since my childhood, when she was the Rabbi at my synagogue. Since a young age, and the experience I had with her preparing for my Bat Mitzvah, I knew I wanted her to officiate my wedding. She brought a perfect blend of warmth, flexibility, and genuine care to the entire process. She took the time to understand what mattered most to us, thoughtfully incorporating our families while helping us shape a ceremony that felt personal, meaningful, and true to who we are. Many of our guests were unfamiliar with Jewish wedding customs and she explained each element in a way that was accessible, and engaging, adding so much depth to the experience for everyone present. She also oversaw the Bedeken, leading a beautiful meditation for everyone to be present before we moved to the ceremony. We cannot recommend her enough.

Mary and her team handled all the florals for our wedding - bouquets, boutonnières, arch flowers, aisle flowers, etc. - and even the centerpieces. Mary really cares about her client’s vision for the day! She had several calls with us to walk through what she has to offer, and what we wanted. Everything turned out beautiful and we highly recommend the team!

Joann was such a wonderful officiant. She was attentive, responsive, professional, and so kind. She seemed genuinely interested in us as a couple and made our ceremony exactly what we wanted!

Amy and Caroline were wonderful officiants. The entire process of working with them was amazing. Throughout both of our prep calls they were professional and showed a genuine interest in our story. The speech they prepared for our ceremony was succinct and phenomenal - a true celebration of queer joy and absolutely one of the best highlights of our wedding! I would recommend Choose Love Weddings to anyone looking for an officiant. 

Our minister was truly amazing on our wedding day. He was incredibly professional, warm, and attentive from beginning to end. What meant the most to us was how he personalized the ceremony—his words felt like they were crafted uniquely for our love story, and it made the entire moment feel even more special and meaningful. Kristin is a wonderful officiant. Her holistic and thoughtful approach was exactly what we needed. As two rather shy individuals, the idea of standing up in front of a large group of people caused anxiety for us both, but Kristin help us with careful planning and preparation. We were adamant about having a non-denominational ceremony, and Kristin had some wonderful ideas to make our ceremony unique, specific to our relationship and focused on our love for each other. Our guests all commented on the unique ceremony that we put together and some are considering renewing their vows using some of the same ideas. When the ceremony finished, Kristin made sure to provide us with written next steps and stayed to mingle and visit with our families which we all appreciated. She is a kind spirit and we would highly recommend her.
