We truly cannot say enough wonderful things about Chris! From the very beginning, it was so clear how genuinely invested he was in making our wedding ceremony everything we dreamed it would be. He spent an entire hour on a video call with us a few weeks before our elopement, taking the time to get to know us, understand our reltaionship, and learn all the little details we wanted incorporated into our ceremony. And when the day came, he remembered and honored every single one of them!

Our ceremony was deeply personal and faith-centered, and Chris handled every element with such thoughtfulness, sincerity, and care. He guided us through Communion, a foot-washing ceremony, and a flower unity ceremony honoring our families and intentions for our own. Foot washing is a particularly meaningful tradition to us, and not necessarily something every officiant would be familiar with, but Chris embraced it so beautifully. He incorporated my grandfather's Bible into our ceremony, specifically acknowledging its significance, and even made a point to mention that the vase used in our flower ceremony had been handmade by my husband's father. It was so special.

Beyond the beautiful ceremony itself, the words Chris shared with us as he married us were so earnest, heartfelt, and genuinely encouraging. Nothing felt rehearsed or impersonal. You could truly feel the sincerity behind everything he said. He led us in prayer, spoke to us with such warmth, and made us feel like he wasn't simply there to officiate a wedding, but was genuinely celebrating this moment alongside us.

And through all the little nervous mishaps that come with getting married (figuring out what to do with my bouquet and accidentally putting the ring on the wrong finger LOL), Chris was so patient, gracious, and reassuring. He helped us navigate it all with such steady reassurance and great humor. He even stayed a little while afterward, and it genuinely felt like he just wanted to share in our happiness a little longer. Honestly for me, what stood out most was how much Chris genuinely cared. You could see and feel his emotional investment in our ceremony, and that is something we will never forget. He helped make one of the most sacred and meaningful moments of our lives even more beautiful than we could have imagined.

Chris is truly a wonderful person, and we feel so incredibly blessed that he was the one who married us. We will forever be grateful for the love, care, and sincerity he brought to our wedding day.

My husband and I recently got married in September of this year (2026). We felt very fortunate and blessed to have found Pastor Carlos Sales and his team upon our search for a Pastor to marry us. My husband and I are both Christian and we did not want to be married by anyone other than a faithful servant of the Lord. Pastor Carlos was extremely sweet throughout the entire process, very knowledgeable, and truly brought the presence of God and the Holy Spirit to our wedding. I love that he also offers the option of either wearing a normal suit or church robes when conducting the ceremony. Carlos has a very calming, grounding, and kind presence which we definitely needed on wedding day. He also took care of mailing our finalized marriage license back to the San Diego court house after our wedding, which we very much appreciated since we whisked off to our honeymoon the next day. Carlos and his team worked with us very closely throughout the whole process and I would absolutely recommend Pastor Carlos to anyone looking to be married by someone in the church!!

Chris was super friendly, professional, and flexible throughout the whole process. The ceremony was very customizable. He was also incredibly generous with his time and offered to help with whatever we needed along the way. Picking the right officiant is such an important decision that my husband and I felt the weight of when looking for the right person.
