“How long have you known the bride and groom?”
That's a question a wedding guest recently asked me following a ceremony.
When I told her I'd only gotten to know the couple while preparing for their wedding, she was genuinely surprised.
“You must have known them for years because you knew so much about them.”
To me, that's what a truly personalized wedding ceremony should feel like.
I'm Gary Kelley, a Christian, ordained non-denominational minister, wedding officiant, and longtime professional broadcaster. I believe every couple has a story worth telling, and I take the time to discover what makes yours extraordinary.
I don't simply add your names to a traditional wedding script. I learn about your journey, your personalities, the moments that brought you together, and the people and experiences that matter most.
Then I write a ceremony exclusively for you.
No recycled scripts. No fill-in-the-blank templates. Your ceremony is written around the two of you, with warmth, sincerity, humor, and those wonderful moments that make your guests smile, laugh, and sometimes shed a happy tear.
As a Christian and non-denominational minister, I welcome couples who want a traditional, faith-centered ceremony as well as those who prefer a contemporary, nonreligious celebration. Your ceremony should always reflect your beliefs, personalities, and wishes.
Ceremony Options
Simple & Short — $450
A beautiful, meaningful ceremony lasting 10 minutes or less. Perfect for elopements, intimate gatherings, or couples who prefer something brief and heartfelt.
Custom-Written Ceremony — $600
My signature ceremony, typically 15–20 minutes, thoughtfully written around your relationship and love story. Just the right amount of time to celebrate your journey, share meaningful moments, and exchange your vows without feeling rushed or overly long.
What Matters Most
My goal is simple: When your guests leave, I want them to feel they've experienced something they could never have experienced at anyone else's wedding.
Because they haven't.

Wonderful Celebration of Life officiant
We provided him with the obituary and answered some questions, and Gary made sure to have all the pronunciations of certain words correct. He arrived on the day of the event on time, actually early, and was well-dressed and presentable. He made everyone feel welcome and delivered the tribute so perfectly. He had everyone feeling that he was part of the family.

He sent us a voice recording beforhand, and we loved it. At our wedding, his voice was clear, calm, and soothing, which made a huge difference during such an emotional moment. He led us through our vows in a way that felt natural and heartfelt, allowing us to stay present and truly take in every second. Our wedding day itself was quite hectic, especially with the unexpected challenges of moving between outdoor and indoor spaces due to the heat (100 degreees!). Despite everything going on, Gary remained composed, attentive, and incredibly thoughtful throughout. He handled every situation with grace and made sure the ceremony flowed smoothly, which meant so so much to all of us.
We’re still waiting to receive our wedding photos and videos from the photographer, so it’s a little disappointing that we don’t have those moments captured just yet—but even without them, we clearly remember how wonderful Gary was and how beautifully he led our ceremony.
