From the very beginning Jalena and Anthony were very helpful and always were prompt to answer any questions that I had. We do not live in CA and had our friends go to the tasting. They were highly impressed and so I knew I wanted Rock n Rowan was the company I wanted to go with. Few months later my venue canceled on us 2 months before the big day. We were super stressed since we had to find a new venue. The venue we found that fit our budget was not able to accommodate the food being cooked on premises and we had to go about having a precooked options. Anthony and Jalena understood how upset we were but assured the food would still be good. They were absolutely right! All of our guests commented on how good everything tasted. I am amazed how well everything g turned out even with the all the hiccups we had they made sure our day would still be amazing!

PTD was very professional, flexible, and responsive through the entire planning process. We have a dietary restriction, and they were just wonderful working with us to help us make our vision come together while being mindful of and working around that restriction. At the event, the food was perfect, and their staff was skilled and respectful. Thank you PTD!

From the very moment we sat down for a menu tasting, my husband and I knew we were going to book with Continental Catering for our wedding. Not only were they professionals in their field about food, but they were so personable and kind! We felt like they truly cared about us as people, which only added to our event’s experience. They even baked our wedding cake (both beautiful and delicious). We loved talking with every team member!! They made detail planning and organization so easy as well. On the day of our wedding, we felt so taken care of, and got so many compliments on the food itself. It truly felt like we had good friends making our guests a home cooked meal. Thank you all again for such a lovely experience!

Stella’s Pizza Pie catered our wedding in October. ~160 people. They were amazing. Nothing but great things to say about them. Our guests are still raving about the food and it was a pleasure to work with their staff, including Amy and Gina who helped us plan before and manage the day of. Grateful for Stella‘s Pizza Pie and will absolutely consider them for future catering events.

Tacos Don Jorge makes amazing Mexican food at a reasonable price that your guests will rave about! The food is so flavorful and fresh. Our wedding guests were very impressed. They created a beautiful set-up that blended perfectly with our other decorations. They communicated well with us during the lead-up to our event and set-up, served and cleaned-up their area with little to no disruption. We will definitely use them again for other parties and highly recommend them.

We have loved Lorna’s Italian Kitchen for years and so when it came to hiring a caterer for our wedding, that was our number one choice. The experience we had with Ethan and his team was positive at the very first phone call. There are so many things to describe the success of our wedding day that I will provide bullet points below. First and foremost it is important that you know our planner failed miserably. However, it was Lorna’s team that made it an absolute success. - Communication and quick responses - Family owned business that takes their recipes and success seriously - Flexibility allowed our last minute changes very simple - Recommendations from Ethan on our choices made all the difference in creating a successful buffet. - The food was delicious, fresh and hot - There was so much food available that leftovers were wrapped up in to-go boxes. - Our guests raved about the food and what food was left was taken home by our guest, leaving us with very little the next day. Which, is absolutely OK since we visit Lorna’s Italian Kitchen quite often. - Setup and cleanup was fluid and seamless. - Their staff was professional, personable, and engaging. Even though this was buffet style, the staff worked their way around the room, making sure that everyone had what they needed. These bullet points are just the basics of what you can expect from Lorna’s. Because our planner failed to be available and their “substitute lead” was not willing to do the work that they were contracted to do, Ethan and his staff quickly stepped up and did the work for her. Because of their quick response, and action nothing was impacted by the success of our wedding and their commitment to our event. This additional work was not a contracted service that we had with Lorna’s and there was no condition associated with all the extra work that they did. Which, made it very easy for us to make sure they were financially compensated. I can’t say enough about Lorna‘s catering, the people who work there, the food, and their family restaurant. So, even though you may not have a catering event for your wedding, you definitely need to enjoy a lunch or dinner at the restaurant. You will not be disappointed.!! Thank you Ethan and the 3 best servers we’ve experienced!!!

Bekker's is the best :) We had so many compliments on how amazing the food was and how great the staff was. Everyone was so friendly and had the venue set up in record speed. Using Bekker's bartenders made coordinating seamless and they were also amazing to our guests. Kimberly was AMAZING as our coordinator as well. She was so organized, communicated with all vendors, and kept to the timeline with no hiccups at all. She took away all day of stress, and everything went as planned. We are so grateful for how easy she made things and how beautiful everything turned out. We had multiple guests with dietary restrictions, and she made sure they were catered to appropriately. I cannot say enough positive things about her and Bekker's team !!!!

Planning a wedding is stressful enough, but planning one in just a couple of months took that stress to another level. I had no idea where to even begin. A friend recommended the company she used—Abbey Catering—and I am genuinely so grateful she did. Their packages took an enormous weight off my shoulders because they covered all the major elements: food, florals, photography, and entertainment. I also loved how flexible their packages were. You can tailor it to your needs. Troy, David, and the entire team made the whole experience incredibly easy. They responded quickly, asked thoughtful questions, and consistently checked in to make sure we were comfortable and confident. David executed our vision beautifully—everything turned out perfect. Shoutout to Leslie for bringing out hors d’oeuvres for us to enjoy while we waited to make our grand entrance to the reception.  The food and drinks were a hit, the cake was delicious, and the vibes were immaculate. Our guests are still talking about how much fun they had.

My husband is a bit of a beer snob and having tasty beer at the wedding was high on his priority list. When I stumbled upon Tap Truck, I was completely sold. I love that we were able to choose beer from our favorite local San Diego breweries and serve draft beer to our guests. Taylor was very helpful and easy to work with. Many of our guests commented on how funny and friendly the bartender was. It was also so freaking cool to have a beer truck at the wedding. I'm so happy we went with Tap Truck rather than a traditional bartender.
