My name is Josiah Elias, owner of Off The Vine Dining, and it is my passion to serve with excellence and help ensure your event or wedding is everything you dreamed it would be. I’m San Diego homegrown and happily married for 15 years with two wonderful kids. I love bringing people together around great food, meaningful moments, and memorable celebrations.
At Off The Vine Dining, we believe food should be delicious, real, and honest. Our team takes pride in preparing meals from scratch using quality ingredients you can feel good about serving your guests. We avoid seed oils and food dyes so that every dish reflects our commitment to wholesome, thoughtful cooking. Our goal is not only to provide exceptional food, but also to help create an atmosphere that leaves a lasting impression on everyone at your event.
The presentation of the food, the atmosphere surrounding it and of course the quality and taste represent what we believe on a deeper level!
Services Offered
Off The Vine Dining offers catering in a wide range of cuisine styles, and our culinary team works closely with each client to design the perfect menu for their special day. Our offerings include dishes inspired by American, French, Italian, Mexican, and Latin American traditions, along with high-quality seafood options prepared with care.
We are happy to accommodate a variety of dietary needs, including gluten-free, organic and grass-fed options, as well as vegan and vegetarian meals, ensuring every guest can enjoy a delicious and satisfying dining experience.
Our team provides delivery and professional setup on the day of your event, along with cleanup services afterward.
Service options include buffet, family-style dining, or a plated dinner with dedicated servers, depending on the style and atmosphere you envision.
Buffet Style:
Our standard Equipment/Labor/Operational charge covers our most common buffet style of service where your guests hold their own plates and we serve them in a buffet line.
Family Style:
A family style service is where your guests are seated at a table and large serve bowls/trays are placed on their tables for them to serve themselves at their own tables. This style of service is an additional $3 per person upcharge.
Plated Style:
A plated dinner is similar to what you would experience at a restaurant. Your guests are seated at a table and my team will prepare each meal maticulously to the desire of your guest from another location and bring it out to your guests who remain seated at their table. This style of service is an additional $6 per person upcharge.
Delivery Style:
We delivery ready to eat food to your location at a time you request with everything needed for your guests to enjoy a delicious meal on site.
