Sabor de Vida was one of the HIGHLIGHTS of our WEDDING hands down!!!

So thankful to Rafal - owner of Sabor de Vida Brazilian Grill. He was EXCEPTIONAL!! From the time he contacted us, to taste testing at the Point Loma Location, and a second test tasting for the various Brazilian desserts, he made everything SO EASY!

The Food first of all, is AMAZING - high quality, healthy, and FRESH! They bring the kitchen to your venue 2-3 hours prior to the wedding, and start cooking it from scratch! So when people start coming in, they can smell the delicious food and get their appetite ready. We had 3 appetizers - tomato/mozzarella/basil sticks, chicken croquette, and beef pastel - which were perfect for craving the hunger pains prior to the reception. We also had the buffet of the steak, chicken, and delicious sausage which EVERY single guest raved about - they were impressed at how healthy the food was, especially for a wedding! Not the traditional hall catering of chicken and mashed potatoes, so they were SUPER excited about that. For desserts, we got the cinnamon-sugar covered pineapple slices, Pudim (flan), and Bragadeiro's (chocolate ganache balls) which our family was super impressed about. Guests are still coming up to us WEEKS after the wedding, telling us how AMAZING the food is!

Rafal was a great communicator - he is the CEO of this restaurant, but was always prompt at answering our questions! The prices for the catering were the MOST affordable out of all the other wedding caters in San Diego, and if I were to say so myself, the food was WAYYY better. Which was surprising since other caterers were charging $50 per person with not as good menu choices - just like I said the traditional chicken/mashed potatoes/veggies/bread options.

The day of - Rafael and his team delivered outstanding services and were so accommodating for us and our needs! They also provided water and iced tea, ice, as well as assisted with the cake-passing of our wedding cake! We didn't have enough utensils for the dessert, so thankful they came prepared and came to the rescue for this! They made our reception exceptional!

I would HANDS-DOWN recommend Rafael and Sabor de Vida Brazilian Grill for ANY WEDDING IN SAN DIEGO!!! You will not be disappointed and your guests will be absolutely LOVE the unique, delicious, healthy, and fresh food that Sabor serves with excellence!

This was the best wedding food I have ever had at any wedding. The service and quality of the food are unmatched!! Every single facet of their food is the best of the best, from appetizers to their main courses. It is absolutely incredible.

Sabor Brazilian Grill was an OUTSTANDING vendor for our wedding! Their catering services are beyond 5 star – Rafael and his staff were the most amazing, genuine, and reliable group of people we had the pleasure of working with to cater our big day! The food was delicious – we are still getting compliments from our guests months after! The quality of the hand-passed appetizers, Brazilian BBQ (cooked onsite), and all of the yummy sides was top tier. The food set up and presentation was very professional and Rafael’s team was able to accommodate some of our special requests to match our wedding design. Rafael’s team was also able to staff our bar & cocktail hour service for the event and they exceeded expectations. We can’t say enough good things about them – everyone was punctual, enthusiastic, beyond friendly, and extremely organized which allowed us to just enjoy our day. We absolutely loved having Sabor de Vida as our caterer. Rafael did my brother's wedding years ago and choosing them to be our caterer was the easiest wedding decision we made. They had servers with passing trays of appetizers for cocktail hour and had a double-sided buffet line for dinner. We still have guests complementing our food choice. It is delicious and unique. We would highly recommend Sabor de Vida!

Rafael and the team were so awesome to work with and we're so happy that they were our caterer. The food was awesome! Our guests kept raving about the food, especially the appetizers and sausages! I ate as much as I could while we were seated at our table and it tasted exactly like I remembered from our tasting.

We wanted Sabor to be at our wedding due to the warmth and the clear passion that they had for their business and food. That same passion and warmth was also extended during our tasting at the restaurant (and of course, the food was awesome). Even in the short interactions we had together at the wedding, that same warmth and passion was evident in the food and service. Rafael and team will provide top notch service and an unforgettable spread of delicious food. I cannot recommend them enough.

My now husband is Brazilian and we really wanted authentic Brazilian food at our wedding and Sabors food was exactly that! Authentic, delicious and fresh! Every single person at our wedding loved it and Rafael was amazing and so sweet! He made sure we got everything we wanted and was very helpful with suggestions on things. We had picanha, chicken, sausage, rice, black beans, veggies, Farofa, Brazilian appatizers, a coffee bar, and Brazilian desserts. All of it was absolutely amazing!

Throughout the many months of wedding preparation, my husband and I visited the restaurant on several occasions (both announced and unannounced) and we were blown away every single time. We reached out to Rafa - owner of Sabor - a couple of months before our wedding date (we were a last minute micro COVID wedding). Communication with the team was exceptional. They responded almost immediately, and was so excited to be a part of our special day.

On the day-of, there were no issues at all. The team arrived on time, and even had appetizers + drinks ready early! The food/drinks and service was amazing, to die for, 10/10... couldn't find anything wrong with it. For weeks after, our guests were talking the food. We're for sure having these guys for every other kind of event we host.

Also - don't forget to have the Brazilian cocktails! EVERYONE was talking about them all night!
