Established in 1999. La Taquiza started out as a small dream project that turned into something much bigger. For more than 17 years we have dedicated ourselves to making our clients happy with quality ingredients and fresh, delicious food.
Not only do we prepare all of our food, but we cook it all on-site for all your guests to admire the freshness of the product we provide. Our meats are marinated with our original Mexican recipes and then are grilled over mesquite firewood to the perfect temperature. Our tortillas are hand-made at your event from fresh corn maza (dough).
Our three meats are carne asada, chicken, and pork adobada topped with guacamole, onions, cilantro, and cheese. Our house-made salsas are prepared with fresh ingredients by us specifically for your event - we offer hot and mild. We cook and serve all of the food ourselves so you and your guests can relax and enjoy the event!
Vegetarian and vegan options are also available!

We used La Taquiza for our wedding (200 people) after being recommended by a family friend who had used them in the past. We had done tastings with a few different vendors and their tacos and customer service were by far our favorite! Jose was so responsive and accommodating. He stayed in contact with myself and my day of coordinator leading up to the big day and was always so helpful. Everyone raved about how delicious the food was and how nice the whole staff was. They were on time and had an organized/appealing buffet set up. We also ordered the chips/salsa as part of the appitizers and had churros with our desserts- both yummy! We couldn't be happier with how it all turned out and will definitely use them again for another event!Sent on 01/29/2018

We used La Taquiza for our Rehearsal Dinner. We had tons of out of town guests and wanted to show them an authentic TJ style taco. IT WAS PERFECT! They came with everything (tables, catering containers, tablecloths, plates, silverware, etc). When they arrived, one gentlemen mentioned that the van sometimes leaked oil, and even climbed underneath it to place a cardboard box and protect my driveway! The entire neighborhood smelled so good as they were cooking the meat and prepping everything. They make their own tortillas, chips, salsa, guac, and everything else, and it was my pleasure to introduce family and friends to authentic horchata. It was extremely well priced for how full everyone was, and we had a fair amount of left overs that they boxed up for us as well.Sent on 10/21/2017
