Where do I even begin.... I attended a wedding at GT around 9-10 years ago and remembered telling myself I'd have a wedding here. Fast forward to September 2025 and the venue was just as beautiful as I had remembered. In addition to a gorgeous tropical setting, every single person at GT made our wedding day dreams come true. Danielle, our wedding coordinator, was a literal DREAM. She was PHENOMENAL. She provided logistics, organization, and paid attention to meticulous details that allowed myself and Chris to not stress, but fully enjoy and be present on our wedding day. GT lets you schedule three meetings with your coordinator leading up to your wedding day and I cannot stress enough that throughout the meetings and constant emails Danielle very quickly began to feel like a friend to both Chris and I. Her care, kindness, and gentleness allowed Chris and I to build a connection with our coordinator beyond having someone handle the logistics on the day of. We could look at Danielle and know that everything was going to be okay; she had every detail/instruction nailed to a tee!

The entire staff at GT was so pleasant and everyone moved so efficiently to keep the day flowing SO smoothly. My guests were shocked at how well we kept to the schedule and that truly is in part to how well the staff at GT is able to work with each other and the wedding couple. They also have a very strong list of preferred vendors and the collaboration and trust between each group to coordinate a wedding day is clear as day!

In addition to the staff being amazing, my guests were in AWE at the gardens and waterfalls. Chris and I chose Arbor Terrace and you would not believe the amount of guests that mentioned to us that the space was BEAUTIFUL. Our guests felt transported to another location and this was one of the main reasons why Chris and I chose this location. Our guests also LOVED the food and drinks! We were told repeatedly that this was some of the best wedding food they had ever eaten.

So thank you Grand Tradition for helping Chris and I have one of the best if not THE best day of our lives thus far and allowing us to start our new journey in the most magical venue!

We were married at Grand Tradition Arbor Terrace on 2/15/2019 and we could not be happier with our venue selection!!! We toured several beautiful venues in northern San Diego county but once we toured GT I was totally sold. The venue is a total hidden gem, driving to the venue you would never imagine there would be such a beautiful tropical style garden in the area.

Elle gave us our tour and she was so sweet and helpful, she answered all of my questions not only the day of the tour but the weeks following. Once we booked with GT we were introduced to our day of coordinator, Charnel. I am sure all of the coordinators are great, but Charnel was simply the best! She is sweet, ORGANIZED, helpful and so very patient with us! I asked about a million questions leading up to the wedding and I know I asked the same questions repeatedly, she was quick to respond and always happy to answer my questions.

Our rehearsal was on Valentines day, which just so happened to be one of the worst storms in the San Diego area in quite some time. Roads were flooding, the wind was knocking trees over....stressful to say the least. Charnel was so on top of it, we had to of course re-arrange the rehearsal set-up and move it under the reception tent. Even though we rehearsed in a different area, Charnel walked us through exactly how it would be the next day (assuming we had clear weather which we did) So there was no confusion the day of the wedding.

Charnel kept everyone & everything running smoothly the day of the wedding, I am truly grateful to have had her as our coordinator, my husband and I just adore her.

As for the wedding experience for us and our guests....it was incredible. Everyone has been gushing about how beautiful the venue was and how amazing the food was! Everything about our day was perfect and we cannot recommend Grand Traditions enough. They will make the wedding planning process smooth and remove a ton of stress as well as provide a gorgeous venue that your friends and family will love!

We worked with Megan at Grand Tradition, she was extremely helpful in planning the ceremony & reception. We had an amazing experience at GR. It was beautiful location, with great food. We had our ceremony & reception at Arbor Terrace. The backdrop for the pictures can't be duplicated or found anywhere else in SD or LA, it felt like we were in Hawaii!! The staff is very nice and professional from the day we checked out the place to the day of our wedding. They were always available to answer our questions, assist us with planning and coordinating outside vendors. They recommended Bonsall Village Florist and we were extremely happy with that vendor. We do wish we had checked out some of their photographer recs, as we weren't happy with the one we found. It is a little more pricey than other venues but when you calculate catering costs, using it for both events, pianist (included), uplighting (included), wedding coordination, staff (bartenders, bride assistant, Megan, etc), beautiful waterfalls & backdrop, changing rooms (great fruits, cheese, crackers provided) it was definitely worth every penny!
