We rented out the Inn at Sunset Cliffs for our wedding weekend 10/14/2023 from Friday to Sunday. Gina and Gavin plus the entire Inn at Sunset Cliffs family truly went above and beyond to help us have the most incredible wedding. From the planning stages early on, Gina helped us with vendor recommendations, staying on track with planning tasks, and building our day of timeline. She provided endless support and kept things organized throughout the entire process and especially throughout the wedding day. Being able to have all our friends and family stay onsite through the entire wedding weekend created the most intimate and memorable weekend. We hosted our wedding welcome event in the pool area the day before our wedding. The ceremony was held on the cliffs just south of the Inn with stunning views. Our reception was held on the property looking out onto the ocean. Being along the cliffs meant we got to have some of the most stunning ocean sunsets in October which made for the most amazing wedding photos. My now husband had the luxury of staying in the Presidential suite with the most stunning ocean views to wake up to on our wedding day. The property of the Inn is meticulously gardened with the most gorgeous rose bushes and landscaping. The Inn provided such a warm, inviting space to celebrate with our families and created everything we could have dreamed of for our wedding day. Even now over a year after our wedding we are still hearing from our family and friends how much they loved our wedding and staying at the Inn. We love that as San Diego locals we can walk along the cliffs now, pass by the Inn and always remember our wedding day! The Inn at Sunset Cliffs will always hold such a special place in our hearts and we can't wait to come back and stay for future anniversaries. Can't recommend more as a place to stay or host your wedding day!

We feel so lucky and grateful that we got to work with Vida for our wedding at the Bahia. From the very beginning, she was responsive, kind, and so easy to talk to. Month after month, I was in contact with Vida while planning our big day, and she always got back to me quickly, went above and beyond to bring our vision to life, and made us feel so cared for throughout the entire process. Vida is the Catering Services Manager, but she was so much more than that when it came to our wedding. She was genuinely invested in every detail, always making sure everything we envisioned was possible and came to life exactly how we dreamed of it. Her dedication, kindness, and professionalism truly set her apart; she never made me feel like a bother, no matter how many questions I had, and she always looked out for us. Getting married at the Bahia truly was our dream wedding come to life.  Our day was absolutely perfect… the venue was stunning, the food was delicious, and every staff member we encountered was friendly and professional. The prices were reasonable, and we never felt pressured to spend more than we were comfortable with. They were understanding of our budget and helped make everything work beautifully. We got married in the Tropical Garden and had our reception on the beach, it was beyond magical! Everything came together so perfectly that now I understand why people say it’s the most special day of your life. I truly believe a huge part of that is thanks to Vida. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience or a better person to guide us through it all.  Thank you to Vida and the Bahia Team!! Xoxox 

Saraya made our experience the best. We knew right away this was the venue for us. Saraya made us feel so welcomed. I love her personality. It's warm, calm and very sweet. I could visualize our wedding right off the bat with the way she exclaimed the amazing options we could do. Saraya responds very quickly with detailed information. Saraya broke down the prices for us explained in detail what it all meant so there was no confusion. I highly recommend The Handlery Hotel and work with Saraya. Thank you so much Saraya for helping us decide where our wedding is going to be. You are a major part of that decision.

Words cannot express how thankful I am that I was able to book Sheraton San Diego Hotel & Marina for my wedding reception venue! We originally planned to have a smaller wedding elsewhere, but as our guest list grew and grew, we had to find another venue. Thank goodness I came across this Sheraton through WeddingWire! Eeeeveryone who has helped me throughout the entire planning process - Thea and Jessica, then Debbie and all the staff who served on our Wedding Day were completely amazing and helpful! Their response time was quick, the quality of service is the best I've ever experienced, and especially their patience with me with all of my last minute changes as our special day came closer and closer, even to the last few hours! And not to mention during the reception, everyone made my husband and I feel so catered to! And I can't forget to compliment the chef(s)! We received endless compliments on how delicious the food at our wedding was! I really can't even put into words how blessed and grateful we are for having them!!! You won't regret booking Sheraton San Diego Hotel & Marina! Thank you so so so much!

WOW! We had our wedding in late October at L’Auberge, and it was absolutely perfect. L’Auberge is a stunning backdrop to host a wedding, but that is only the beginning. From the moment we reached out, we simply could not have been happier with the wedding services and coordination at L’Auberge. Specifically, Alexandra was so easy to work with to understand our needs and put together a wedding package which included accommodations for many of our guests. Their wedding coordinator, Dionne was beyond amazing throughout the entire process — she is an incredibly lovely person, and a wonderful partner in helping plan every single detail of our amazing day. She made me feel like I was the only Bride she was working with, and that our wedding day was the most special day…and it was! The entire of staff of L’Auberge were incredibly kind and accommodating, the food was amazing and we cannot even begin to describe how wonderful the service was! Our guests were raving all weekend! We hosted a wedding for 160 guests, with the majority from out of town. Our guests were amazed with L’Auberge — the location, the hotel, and most especially, the personalized and friendly service of the entire hotel staff. They went out of their way to welcome our guests, and provided top-notch service throughout the weekend. We highly, highly recommend L’Auberge!!

Where do I even begin? Stephanie is, without question, the most incredible event coordinator anyone could ask for. Over the 2.5 years we worked together, she became so much more than a planner—she truly felt like a best friend who cared about every detail as much as I did. From day one, she went above and beyond to make sure our planning experience was smooth, joyful, and completely stress-free. Every suggestion, every tiny comment we made—she listened, understood, and somehow always managed to make things even better than I imagined. Her ability to improve and elevate every idea was nothing short of magic. She guided us through every stage of the process with such grace and professionalism, all while keeping everything lighthearted and fun. Additionally, she was extremely flexible, working with us on budget concerns, she was responsive, and always reliable. She worked with all of my vendors seamlessly, and without her I don’t think the day would have been as perfect as it was. And the thoughtfulness! Stephanie and Peter (our hotel block coordinator) have such beautiful hearts—they even surprised us with the most meaningful little gifts along the way during our weekend. Those gestures meant the world to me and reminded me just how lucky we were to have them by our side. If you’re looking for someone who will not only plan your wedding flawlessly but also care about you, your story, and your happiness, look no further than Stephanie. She’s pure magic. 💕 For Kona Kai as a hotel, they are updating the rooms and various areas so there were some issues with the properties that our guests experienced. However, the staff was always kind in working with us and did everything they could to provide the best experience.

Imagine all the little things you think a bride needs to worry about the day of her wedding. Then imagine them gone. It simply was like that, things I didn't even know I needed or would want were sent to my room, taken care of and all I had to do was stay calm( a hard task for a bride ). Not only is the Sheraton absolutely gracious and flexible to your needs but they also go above and beyond to make sure it's all set to go. And if you're a bit of a control freak like me, they even give you the space to be specific and picky with layout and wants. Phenomenal team, wonderful smiles. And a huge big thank you to Shelby for being the lead and shot caller for every step of the way. It wouldn't be possible without her expertise to guide the venue to success. Thank you so so much Sheraton and even more thank you to Shelby!

I can’t say enough about how wonderful the Dana is as a wedding venue. My husband and I got married there two weeks ago and not only did we love it but so did our guests. We initially looked at the Dana because the park has been a special place throughout our relationship but when we toured the hotel we immediately felt like it was the perfect place. Christina (the event coordinator) was so incredibly kind and welcoming and we felt like she genuinely cared about our experience, not just the business. She patiently guided us throughout the planning process with so much kindness and was even there guarding our table to make sure we ate at our reception. The food was delicious and we had so many compliments from our guests on everything from the hotel stay to the bartenders to every little detail. If you are considering the Dana for your wedding you should absolutely go for it! 100%

Having our wedding at Omni La Costa was the best decision! After two postponements, we were a bit hesitant, but Jenna and Stephanie at Omni made everything happen! The resort itself is beautiful and all of the staff were extremely helpful. Our ceremony on Valley Promenade overlooked the beautiful golf course and our cocktail hour and reception on the new Luna Lawn was perfect. We can’t recommend Omni La Costa enough! Also, our guests enjoyed being able to stay at the resort all weekend without having to ever leave!

We were so impressed with the entire Seabird experience and service! The wedding space is beautiful and the food was delicious — we were surprised by how many people came up afterwards and said how good the food was, which you don’t usually hear at a hotel wedding. Attendees really loved staying at the hotel (especially enjoying the pool) and exploring the surrounding area. A bustling and vibrant vibe with the hotel so close to the beach, which worked for us. There was a concert by the pier that could have disturbed our outdoor wedding, and hotel brought in hedges and enhanced the speakers to alleviate any issues. Rebecca was a pleasure to work with and really responsive. We also rented the salon for the bride and bridesmaids for hair and makeup. Marissa and the salon went above and beyond to make sure that our needs were met at all times. Overall, a terrific venue and we’d host another event here in a heartbeat.
