We are SO happy we got married at Bali Hai and our guests absolutely loved the venue. The staff, the food, the view, the drinks, everything was perfect. We were impressed early on with the planning process and coordinators. They made the whole year leading up to our wedding stress free and so fun. But our actual wedding day was beyond our wildest dreams and the staff made sure everything was perfect. We cannot thank Bali Hai enough for giving us the best wedding experience and wish we could do it all again.

Venue location, appearance, value for cost, and professionalism of the staff: 5/5 stars! My husband and I got married at Wormwood in May 2025; it was the honor of a lifetime. Wormwood is the most beautiful venue, offers the best food, provides San Diego’s best cocktails, and employs both the most professional and kindest wait staff we have ever encountered. Leading up to the event, Chef Omar, a world class chef, and Lukas, General Manager extraordinaire, helped us coordinate the logistics, tasting menu, and worked directly with our day-of coordinator. The most honest review I can leave is sharing part of our thank you note to the Wormwood team. “The appetizers, the absinthe tasting station, the entrees, the rain, and the cocktails all felt as though they were dusted with magic. I was told by no fewer than four friends, who have lived around the world, that Wormwood served them the best food and cocktails they have ever enjoyed. Our nieces, friends, family, and I had the best time dancing with the sweetest staff in the rain. All of these details, and more, were created by magic. But the magic was Lukas, Chef Omar, and the team working hard behind the scenes. It was your kindness in pivoting from the plan that made it even more memorable and perfect. We love Wormwood, we love your team, and we are honored and love that our marriage started in San Diego’s most beautiful restaurant.” Hosting an event with Wormwood is a dream come true, and they will do the same for you.

The House of Blues events staff, Ashley and Mercedes were extremely responsive and were very flexible and helpful with making our wedding reception an awesome event while staying within our budget. The Delta Room that was provided was such a cool, amazing space with an easy going vibe which was exactly what we wanted. I only wish we had more time in the room as 8-11 p.m. did not seem like enough time.....I was sorry to see it end.

The food is delicious...very flexible when considering food allergies and very helpful, accommodating staff!

I would chose again if needed. A few folks thought out selection of food was too greasy but we liked it and and most everyone else did as well. Bea was awesome! the wait staff was nice and helpful. The space was clean and everything was beautiful

The food and service at Piatti is exceptional. We will be having our rehearsal dinner at Piatti in a few weeks. We've been working with Kasey to arrange the details and customize our menu and she has been very helpful and accommodating. Can't wait to dine there again.

Just booked my wedding reception here! I have seen wedding and receptions and rehearsal dinner here before and it is beautiful! I highly recommend!

We did outside catering from sufi/balboa international market. The food was amazing and Farhan ( the outside catering manager ) is very professional and he was available for all the questions that we had.

I had the pleasure of working with the banquet manager, Rachel and her crew. From the very beginning she was on top of all my questions, as wedding planner I always have a lot. She kept up with our constant requests and was open to assist making any changes that were possible. I always appreciate someone who responds so quickly and professionally. 94th is a great place for people looking to book an event, it offers an eclectic post war theme with an airstrip in the backdrop. I would recommend 94th Aero Squadron for your event.

This venue was incredible. So many of our local SD friends commented that this is a hidden gem. Most things were included with the venue rental, and Samantha was great to work with. The Harbor Float at Coasterra was the perfect place for us to say I do!
