Couldn’t recommend this venue more. Good price, beautiful venue and area, and amazing people to work with! Pros: - base price is reasonable, and there’s plenty you can add on if you want to really splurge (but you don’t have to, their base offerings are great!) - venue itself is absolutely gorgeous. Our ceremony on the pepper tree patio was picturesque and intimate. Then the cocktail hour + dancing area was beautiful under the twinkling lights at night - we had our guests (180 of them) stay in Carlsbad Village (SpringHill suites, specifically) and they were blown away by the town. There’s so much to do there, and so much walkability. We had a ton of out of town guests, and most didn’t even rent a car since everything was so close. - staff: the Personal Touch Dining folks were incredible. They responded to all of our questions within minutes, and we felt like we were in good hands the entire time. Josie in particular was fantastic to work with! Cons: - only con I can think of is that at Leo Carrillo, the DJ is limited to playing music beyond a certain volume. It was quieter than I would have liked. We played a bunch of sing along songs so that we could basically BECOME the music… and that helped. But I wish they would have let us bump the dance floor music more. Still though, I wouldn’t worry too much. I have been to a lot of weddings and our dance floor vibes were pretty top notch regardless!

Manzanita Hollow was an absolutely incredible venue. The owners graciously opened their home to allow the bride and bridesmaids to get ready, arriving as early as 9:00 AM for a 4:00 PM ceremony. Throughout the day, a bridal coordinator was on hand to help keep everything on schedule. The owners also arranged for staff to manage the bar and handle the venue setup. I truly can't say enough about how wonderful they were and everything they did to help make my daughter and her husband's wedding a dream come true.

Circle Oak Ranch is BEYOND STUNNING. We were so lucky to have found it. It was perfect, beyond everything we could have expected or hoped for. First of all, the place itself is stunningly beautiful. Sometimes with these venues, the photos online look good, but when you get there, you realize that it's just one particular angle that looks that good-- and if you turn around, it's not as magical. Not so, with Circle Oak. If anything, the photos under-appreciate how beautiful this place is. You could turn in a full 360 degrees and see nothing but rolling green hills, beautiful forested mountains, and sky. Another thing photos don't show is the SOUND-- sometimes at these venues, the photos look good, but you are also listening to highway traffic. Not at Circle Oak. You'll hear birds chirping, wind rustling the trees, and the sound of the love of your life saying their vows. Nothing else. So that's the venue, but what about the manager, and staff? Don't even get me started-- if I could give them 11 out of 10, that would still be under-appreciating their work. Jennifer (the owner) literally cares about nothing else except your day going perfectly. She'll assign you a personal wedding manager (we had Chelsea), who handles the details. Both Jennifer and Chelsea were such absolute professionals, remembering every tiny little detail, making thoughtful suggestions, working with us on every single solitary aspect of our wedding. No detail was too small for them to care about. Not a single thing "slipped through the cracks." You could pay top dollar for the best wedding planner in the world, and you wouldn't get better service. (And you don't need a wedding planner at this venue, because they provide!) Our officiant commented that they were the most organized venue he'd ever encountered. They literally care SO MUCH that everything goes well, it will put you at complete ease to just enjoy yourself. All the rest of the staff is equally lovely, attentive, and professional. From the bartenders, to the drivers (who take you onto the top of a literal mountain for romantic photos!), to the waiters, to the groundspeople. The whole thing is run so well, and gives you a fully personalized experience. Some other places it felt like we'd be on a conveyer belt (just trying to get through one wedding to get to the next), but not at Circle Oak. The entire experience was just so, so beautiful. Recommend, recommend, recommend.

Our experience was absolutely incredible from start to finish. The entire process was unbelievably easy, and the value was truly worth every bit. Everyone worked with us to meet our budget without ever making us feel limited. I felt completely validated, supported, and genuinely heard throughout the whole journey. The staff was one of the biggest highlights. Every single person we interacted with was so positive, warm, and open. They made us feel welcomed, cared for, and understood at every turn. The caterers were wonderful, communication over email was smooth and effortless, security was kind and reassuring, and the coordinators were incredibly attentive, always one step ahead to make sure our day felt magical. Their openness and enthusiasm helped set the perfect tone for the entire celebration. Even when our wedding day unexpectedly turned rainy, the team immediately stepped in with creative ideas and thoughtful backup plans to make sure everything was still beautiful. Their quick thinking and support kept the day stress-free and magical. We truly could not have done it without them. We could not have asked for a more loving, involved, and uplifting team to help bring our wedding day to life!

What a whimsical romantic place to get married. The view of the rolling hills during your ceremony is absolutely breathtaking. It sets the mood for a perfectly romantic atmosphere. We even had a hawk souring over us during our vows. It’s was absolutely beautiful. We did our first dance at sunset and let me tell you. I felt like I was in fairy tail. In the reception area the tables are interweaved between the trees. Giving each table its own intimate setting. But you can also view all tables from the head table. Hundreds of string lights throughout the venue gave such a vibe at nighttime. Our wedding was perfect. We got multiple comments back from our guests telling us they had the best time. And the wedding felt very inspiring, beautiful and romantic. The beautiful views helped create this setting. Carley and Christian are the owners of hidden hillside. They were both very attentive and answered all of my million questions promptly. They worked very hard for us the day of the wedding as well. Would highly recommend hidden hillside for your wedding. It’s beautiful, you won’t regret those( “I do’s) with that view.

Sacred is an apt name. My wife and I were married at Sacred Mountain on August 20th, 2022. We went with the full mountain package and had the run of the property for the weekend, using it for both our rehearsal dinner as well as the ceremony/reception. Weddings go by so fast and the weekend experience allowed us to celebrate with friends and family and enjoy our big day just a little bit longer. As a couple who didn’t want to have a traditional religious ceremony, but still found it very important to find a location that felt special and spiritual in its own way. Sacred Mountain delivered in spades. The ceremony site on the plateau was magical and felt truly special amongst the many venues we toured. Add to that the incredible accommodations on-site and a multitude of beautiful spaces to gather for all parts of the reception and this place really rounded out to be the full package. Marti and her staff were all wonderful and worked to make sure every detail was perfect for us on the day. From decor to refreshments, they thought of everything. We ended up having rain in the forecast and had to move last minute to tent our dinner on the patio of the Meadow House. The staff helped us every step of the way with the unexpected change and we ended up enjoying the beauty of the tented setup even more. The weather cleared just in time for our ceremony, with the sun peaking out as the bride made her way down the aisle. The beauty of this place cannot be overstated and we will surely return to celebrate future anniversaries now that we know it’s possible to stay on-site as a rental. Julian gave us everything we could have asked for in terms of a unique mini-destination wedding venue and we could not have been happier with the Sacred Mountain experience and everything this wonderful little mountain town had to offer.

We recently celebrated our wedding at The Old Rancho in Carlsbad, and it was truly everything we dreamed of and more! From the moment we toured the venue, we fell in love with its charming ambiance and lush greenery—so much so that we barely needed to add extra flowers. It was the perfect backdrop for our intimate gathering of close family and friends. A special thank you to the venue sales manager, Ashley, who also served as our day-of coordinator. She was absolutely amazing and thought of our needs before we even realized them ourselves. Her attention to detail and genuine care made our day run smoothly and allowed us to fully enjoy every moment. We went with Stations for food and there were many delicious options to choose from that everyone found something they loved. Our guests are still raving about the bartenders, who not only made fantastic drinks but also kept everyone entertained with their humor and warmth. If you’re looking for a beautiful, relaxed, and welcoming place to get married, The Old Rancho is the perfect choice. We are so grateful for the wonderful memories made here and highly recommend it to anyone planning a special event!

My husband and I had our wedding at Willow Creek Ranch, and we were totally impressed with our experience here and working with Bethany. There are simply not enough amazing things we could say about working with Bethany. Bethany had great communication and since the beginning she had quick responses to our questions which made planning our wedding very efficient. She has a lot of experience in the wedding industry and would ask us questions about things we didn't even consider. She was EXTREMELY accommodating - my husband and I are both healthcare workers who occasionally work Saturdays with changing schedules throughout the week - this never was an issue when it came to planning our wedding. The location is extremely beautiful from the daytime to sunset and even to night time with all the lights and chandeliers. There are honestly SO many locations to take beautiful photos in and this was a big factor as we wanted a variety of places for backdrop - there's a lavender field, a bridge overlooking a small pond area, and a place with a sing - this is not including the picturesque house covered in vines and the ceremony site. Additionally, all the decor in the photos below were included (even the furniture, florals, and table settings). We chose the package that included florals and Bethany (who is also a florist) went ABOVE and BEYOND with the floral arrangements and bouquets, literally making my Pinterest autumn wedding dreams come true. The day of the wedding went as smoothly as weddings can possibly go and despite it being the craziest day, it was also one of the best days of our lives. We really owe it all to Bethany and cannot rave enough about her and her team. We've heard from many of our friends who got married about something they didn't like about their wedding planning process, but honestly, working with Bethany was completely smooth, stress-free, and an efficient yet detailed process. From our first visit to the last dance, our experience with the Hacienda Santa Fe was simply remarkable. It is a family-owned and curated experience that leaves the bride and groom feeling loved and honored throughout. The setting is breathtaking. Our wedding was under a grove of trees and the reception was held in the enchanting barn, with no detail missed. They are flexible with which vendors you choose, but the catering team and designer they recommended went above and beyond to make our wedding unique and honestly, perfect. I recently had my wedding at Hidden Oaks and my experience was INCREDIBLE. The venue itself was my exact vision and turned out GORGEOUS. We hired Deb to do our day of coordination and she did such a great job that I don't know anything that may have gone wrong that day! My guests were so happy with the way everything looked and was run that many said it was the most fun wedding they've ever been too! Details: 1. Pre-wedding, Deb was very responsive to emails and did a great job helping me navigate hiring our other vendors, even the ones not on her recommended list. She gave us lists of questions to ask the vendors and looked over our contracts before we signed them 2. We had to postpone our wedding a year and Deb was more than accommodating. She was very flexible in planning the new date and didn't charge us any fees! 3. In the weeks leading up to the wedding Deb did an excellent job of making sure that we had given her every detail of our vision so that she could execute it day-of. We had several meetings, went through her 5-page checklist (which the organizer in me LOVES), and created a wedding day timeline together (which she then made sure was sent to everyone who needed it). 4. The day before she allowed us to come to the venue and set up some of the larger decor pieces (like our arch) and helped us walk our bridal party through the rehearsal. She went though all the details one more times with me to show me that she had it all under control and to try to get me to worry less. 5. The day was a dream. We showed up at her house in the morning and she had coffee ready for us and a space for us to get ready. We took cute pictures and took our time getting pampered. Then we headed down to the venue for the first look and I got my first peek at the decor. Deb and her staff had executed my vision perfectly, in a way a would never have trusted any other stranger to do. She made sure that me and my husband were taken care of all the rest of the day: wishing us luck before walking down the aisle, getting us drinks and food so we didn't get caught in the lines, and all the little things like fetching me my change of shoes when my feet got tired in heels and helping me get them on when I couldn't bend down in my dress. 6. Her staff cleaned everything up for us and put it nicely in the Uhaul we had brought everything in, so that the next day we just had to come to the venue and collect the last couple things and the Uhaul! So easy! I can't recommend this venue enough. It's budget friendly (which is not true of a lot of other venues in the San Diego area, I did A LOT of research), they do an AMAZING job of organizing and coordinating everything, and my wedding turned out looking like the dream I had for it.
