Restaurant Wedding Venues in San Diego

We are SO happy we got married at Bali Hai and our guests absolutely loved the venue. The staff, the food, the view, the drinks, everything was perfect. We were impressed early on with the planning process and coordinators. They made the whole year leading up to our wedding stress free and so fun. But our actual wedding day was beyond our wildest dreams and the staff made sure everything was perfect. We cannot thank Bali Hai enough for giving us the best wedding experience and wish we could do it all again.

The food is delicious...very flexible when considering food allergies and very helpful, accommodating staff!

I don't ever write reviews. Seriously. But Green Acre Campus Point deserves one. If you’re looking at the size of this review and wondering if you should read through it, or if you should book this venue, and wondering if the food is good, let me summarize for you. Trust me and my husband. Book it. This place is perfect for your wedding. For those who don’t mind reading, here are the details: One of our wedding guests came up to us during the wedding reception and asked: “How did you guys find this place? It’s like a secret of San Diego! Nobody knows about it and it is such a great place!” My now husband (feels so weird to call him that) was the one who found the venue on Wedding Wire, read all its reviews, toured the place while FaceTiming me because I was busy at work, and he booked the venue. The deciding factor? Primarily because the venue was absolutely stunning, but also because the venue had games – corn hole, pin ball machine, billiards table, ping pong, arcade basketball. We wanted our guests to have fun, but we also enjoyed all these games as well. Everybody loved all the games!! Great alternative to photo booth! The location is set in a corporate area…it’s the only restaurant in the corporate complex. We thought it was odd at first, but you don’t even notice it at all. But the venue décor is unbeatable, and we didn’t really have to decorate much. We booked the Full Venue, which has a fee, but it was so worth it. We utilized every space of the venue, including areas by the parking lot which turned out great for photos. What’s neat is that each space of the venue is unique and themed. My mom is very picky and usually won’t share her thoughts or comments unless she really likes something; it has been two weeks since our wedding and my mom cannot stop talking about how much she liked the venue for its layout, design, look and feel. What’s interesting about the venue is that there is plenty of indoor and outdoor space. We started out with the outdoor space, and for cake cutting, we moved all the guest indoors, followed by dancing indoors. We worked with Kayla Bishar, the catering manager, and she answered her phone and emails at all hours of the day, very responsive. She was easy to work with, and very knowledgeable of the venue and of weddings. Next thing my husband and I want to rave about is the food – look no further folks. There is such a thing as GOOD WEDDING FOOD (in fact, EXCELLENT)! We were blown away during the tasting at the venue….everything we tried was so delicious, it made it very hard to narrow down what we actually wanted to serve at the wedding. For appetizers, we had the mojo pulled pork, pork belly sliders, and white pizza. For reception, we had the scallops, beef short rib, and a pasta. Multiple guests came up to us saying they’ve never had such good food at a wedding before. Another guest came up to us saying that the scallops were the best scallops they’ve ever had, EVER. We loved the venue so much that we even held our rehearsal “happy hour” so that our guests can fully enjoy the venue. We all had a blast at the wedding at Green Acre, and we want to do it all over again. Thank you for reading this review to the end. We hope you have an amazing wedding!!!!!

I had the pleasure of working with the banquet manager, Rachel and her crew. From the very beginning she was on top of all my questions, as wedding planner I always have a lot. She kept up with our constant requests and was open to assist making any changes that were possible. I always appreciate someone who responds so quickly and professionally. 94th is a great place for people looking to book an event, it offers an eclectic post war theme with an airstrip in the backdrop. I would recommend 94th Aero Squadron for your event.

Old Venice Restaurant was the perfect place for our wedding reception of 50. The ambiance is dreamy and the food is to die for!! All of our guests are still talking about how great of a time they had. We are looking forward to returning to Old Venice for anniversaries to come to relive the best day of our lives.

The House of Blues events staff, Ashley and Mercedes were extremely responsive and were very flexible and helpful with making our wedding reception an awesome event while staying within our budget. The Delta Room that was provided was such a cool, amazing space with an easy going vibe which was exactly what we wanted. I only wish we had more time in the room as 8-11 p.m. did not seem like enough time.....I was sorry to see it end.

I would chose again if needed. A few folks thought out selection of food was too greasy but we liked it and and most everyone else did as well. Bea was awesome! the wait staff was nice and helpful. The space was clean and everything was beautiful

This venue was incredible. So many of our local SD friends commented that this is a hidden gem. Most things were included with the venue rental, and Samantha was great to work with. The Harbor Float at Coasterra was the perfect place for us to say I do!

We did outside catering from sufi/balboa international market. The food was amazing and Farhan ( the outside catering manager ) is very professional and he was available for all the questions that we had.

We had our daughter’s wedding and reception in the Grande and Poco Cabo room. Everything was perfect from the planning process to the service and food at the event. This venue is a very affordable and viable option for any event. Being in Old Town also made it very convenient and fun for our out of town guests who stayed the weekend there. Please give them a try, you won’t be disappointed!
