Facilities and Capacity
With an expansive view of the cityscape and sparkling bay, Coasterra is ideal for couples seeking a one-of-a-kind setting that blends elegance and tranquility. You will have multiple event spaces to choose from to host events from intimate gatherings to large, extravagant receptions. Up to 300 guests can be seated on the Skyline Terrace, and watch the happy couple exchange their vows to the sound of ocean waves. This covered outdoor space allows couples and their visitors to dine and mingle in the fresh air and natural light. It also features a spacious bar area with lounge furniture to take a break from the dance floor. The indoor Bayview Ballroom has enough space for up to 500-guest receptions. Its neutral color scheme, detailed chandeliers, and large windows can easily match any preferred aesthetic or wedding theme. The picturesque harbor gives up to 200 visitors a panorama of the sea during any nuptial events. You will also be free to host small gatherings in the restaurant’s main dining area for your wedding shower or bachelor and bachelorette parties.

Gorgeous Bayside Wedding with City View
Most amazing venue in San Diego
It was truly the perfect venue. Due to state and local guidelines as well as our desire to have a safe environment for our guests, the ability to host both our ceremony and reception outside was the perfect fit. Our ceremony took place on the barge and the reception took place on the patio outside the ballroom. We were able to create environment that was both safe (via assigned seating, individually plated dinner, no walk up bar service, etc) but still so beautiful and we didn’t feel like we missed out on anything.
When I was beginning my walk from the right walkaway of the restaurant to the barge, many of the patrons of the restaurant stood, clapped and yelled and congratulated me. It was such a welcome surprise during what was a very challenging wedding planning process.
Samantha was a gem and was incredibly accommodating and helpful and we are so thrilled.
