Couples are welcome to explore this alternative ceremony option prior to their cocktail hour and reception at The Secret Garden at Rancho Santa Fe. Wedding parties can also make use of the private rooms for dressing areas prior to the event. The facility itself is a pet-friendly venue, and also has on-site parking, shuttle service referrals, and wheelchair access into the space.

We adore the Secret Garden!
The Secret Garden is a true gem in the wedding industry! My husband and I recently were married there, in June 2022. Choosing the Secret Garden was one of the easiest wedding planning decisions we made. Julie assisted us from the first day up until a week before. She is exceptional! Julie is so kind, responsive, helpful... it was a gift having her as a line of support. In every way, the staff at the Secret Garden worked with my husband and I to give us the day of our dreams. The venue site offered everything we needed. It is a charming wedding location! Aside from the beautiful location, the all inclusive package made our choice an easy one. We had so much less stress because of this, and we were able to seamlessly plan our day, even living out of state. I cannot recommend the Secret Garden and its friendly staff enough!

Simply The Best!
We truly could not have picked a more perfect venue than The Secret Garden for our wedding. We had our wedding there on 3/15/26 and it was everything we dreamed of and more.
The venue itself is absolutely stunning. The garden setting is so romantic and intimate. From the ceremony space to the reception area, it was the perfect atmosphere for our wedding of 125 people.
One of the biggest reasons our day went so seamlessly was The Epic Events team that works with the venue. Our day-of coordinator, Laura, was beyond amazing, she went far above and beyond just coordinating logistics. She made sure everything (and everyone!) was exactly where they needed to be, kept the timeline running smoothly, and helped bring our vision to life in a way that exceeded our expectations.
The photography and videography team were equally incredible. Tammy and Ashley made us feel so natural and comfortable in front of the camera while keeping the energy fun and positive all day long. And a huge thank you to the videography team, who stepped in at the last minute when our originally booked videographer went MIA. They made the transition completely seamless, and Koyla was an absolute joy to work with.
The entire day flowed so smoothly, and we were actually able to be present and enjoy every moment, which is the biggest gift you can ask for on your wedding day.
If you’re considering The Secret Garden, I cannot recommend it enough, especially with the Epic team. It truly was the happiest day of our lives, and we’re so grateful for everyone who made it possible!

The Secret Garden team showed extraordinary dedication in creating a beautiful wedding for us.
The team at The Secret Garden works in unison to create what you desire. Each member went beyond what was expected so that we could have the truly memorable experience we desired. We worked especially with Mary, Laura, Drew and the DJ Michael. We felt their intense desire to please us and meet our requests. It was an incredible experience that we've never had before. Their service and their desire to create a beautiful wedding for us was extraordinary.
On the day of our wedding, the clouds were heavy. Chairs were set up inside and out, just in case. (We also had rehearsals for both inside and outside, too.) Drew our coordinator knew we really wanted to have our wedding ceremony outside, so he waited until the very last minute before we had to make the decision to hold it inside. In a matter of minutes they switched and they created a beautiful indoor wedding.
We worked with the DJ on editing a song for us, which we worked on together even that very morning. He pulled it off with a smile!
Mary played a significant role in helping us with the caterers which we greatly appreciated. Laura. the lead coordinator before Drew took over. set the tone for what The Secret Garden team represents: guiding and helping us with graciousness. Thank you all for helping us create a wonderful day. Highly recommend The Secret Garden!

Absolutely LOVED working with The Secret Garden!
Couldn't have asked for a better group to work with!! Laura was our day-of coordinator and made it the most seamless, beautiful day! She always had a smile on her face and was there for anything we needed. The planning process was also so smooth - Mary and the team were incredibly responsive and there for any questions or concerns! I would highly recommend working with them.

The perfect day!
My husband and I could not have imagined a better wedding experience and we are so grateful we chose to have our special day at the beautiful Secret Garden! We got married on December 14, 2024 and it was the most beautiful day we could have imagined!
We booked the venue over a year in advance and throughout the entire planning process, the entire team was so available and responsive. As the day approached, we met with our day-of coordination Laura and she was truly amazing!! She helped me create the day of my dreams and was very prompt in responding to any of our concerns. She helped bring our vision to life and I am so grateful!!
The very inclusive experience at The Secret Garden was also so helpful. We ended up going through our own food vendor for BBQ for dinner, but everything else was seamless and really helped ease the wedding planning stress. The photography and videography team was so amazing and captured our day so beautifully. I still cry tears of joy looking at our pictures and videos from the special day! :') The DJ services provided were also amazing and we couldn't have been happier with DJ Jason Lyons!
Overall, we could not be happier with our experience at The Secret Garden. It was worth every penny to marry my best friend at such a beautiful place surrounded by everyone we love!! :)

Wonderful All Around
We truly couldn’t have asked for a better wedding venue experience. The venue was absolutely beautiful, and the team made the entire process seamless and stress-free. One of the things we loved most was how inclusive the package was—our DJ, photographer, bartenders, day-of coordinator, and planning meetings were all included, and every single vendor was phenomenal.
