Sheraton La Jolla Hotel

Imagine all the little things you think a bride needs to worry about the day of her wedding. Then imagine them gone. It simply was like that, things I didn't even know I needed or would want were sent to my room, taken care of and all I had to do was stay calm( a hard task for a bride ). Not only is the Sheraton absolutely gracious and flexible to your needs but they also go above and beyond to make sure it's all set to go. And if you're a bit of a control freak like me, they even give you the space to be specific and picky with layout and wants. Phenomenal team, wonderful smiles. And a huge big thank you to Shelby for being the lead and shot caller for every step of the way. It wouldn't be possible without her expertise to guide the venue to success. Thank you so so much Sheraton and even more thank you to Shelby!

I would like to take a moment to express our sincere gratitude for Shelby, our venue coordinator(Catering & Events Manager), who played a pivotal role in ensuring that our wedding day went off without a hitch. Shelby's dedication and commitment to her role made the entire process seamless and stress-free.

Shelby's flexibility, cheerful demeanor, and her willingness to go above and beyond to assist us were truly remarkable. She is an incredible individual who worked tirelessly to ensure that every detail was perfect for our special day. What stood out most about Shelby was her open communication and her unwavering support of our ideas, no matter how unconventional they may have been. Her ability to listen, understand, and execute our vision was truly exceptional.

The hotel served as the perfect location for our 70-person reception, and we were able to bring in our own extra decorations to add our personal charm to the venue. In addition to this, the hotel also offered minimal decor, which added to the overall ambiance of the event.

We highly recommend hiring a DJ and having them handle the uplighting. This choice truly made everything come together and added an extra layer of magic to our special day.

Shelby's contributions were invaluable, and she made our wedding day an unforgettable and joyous occasion. We are immensely grateful for her dedication and outstanding service. I am so glad that I chose Sheraton La Jolla as my wedding venue. It fits all of my dreams for my small wedding. I like garden view ceremony and indoor reception. Its private garden is perfect. One I want to mention is that you don't worry that your high heel will sink in the lawn because that is the fake grass. The hotel carting manager, Shelby basically took care all our request. We had outdoor ceremony, cocktail hour and ballroom reception. Everything was perfect. Food was great. Service was awesome. Highly recommend!

We were having a destination wedding and as we got closer to the actual wedding date the number of guests got cut down to less than half in fact less 1/4 and I was unable to follow through with the original contract although I had to hold up to the majority of it they made up for the other issues I was having to make my reception something special just for us and I can say my reception could not have been better it was absolutely beautiful Shelby was so accommodating and made it so that I didn't have to worry about a thing

I just had my wedding at this location, it was beautiful! Tracee was our coordinator for the event, she was very professional, helpful and loving. She really went over and beyond to make sure that everything went smoothly and I didn't get stressed out. She wanted to make sure that I had no worries and my day was about me. She is very accommodating to your wants and will try her best to help you bring your dream wedding to life by giving suggestions on what to do.
venue itself was great! ceremony took place outdoors then the reception was inside the ballroom.
There are 3 different ballrooms you get to pick from, this was great because each ballroom is on a different floor and only you and your guest will be on that floor.
Food was great! its not very often you go to a wedding and the food is actually good. We were a little concerned because you have to go with there food instead of having it catered somewhere else but once we did our tasting..... we had no worries! They even have a different menu for the kids so you don't have to worry about the kids wasting the other food. Besides the food tasting good, it was affordable! My wedding was a wedding on a budget but the way it all came together.... guest thought we paid a lot more for our wedding then we actually did and they all had a great time! Thanks Tracee!

The Sheraton La Jolla made our wedding day and all the days leading up to it extra special for us. We enjoyed working with everybody at the Sheraton. Our experience started with Karen Cribbs and then Tracee Williams. I can't say enough wonderful things about this hotel. My husband and I had an amazing wedding and a wonderful weekend at the Sheraton La Jolla. I would be more than happy to recomend any bride to this hotel for there wedding. We had a coastal elegance theme and the Sheraton tied in perfect with our theme. Any bride would be very lucky to work with this hotel and all the wonderful people that work there. Thanks to the Sheraton La Jolla for everything!

I had my wedding when this location was still Radisson La Jolla, but the grounds still look the same. It was beautiful and everyone loved it! The staff then (not sure if still the same) was easy to work with and the prices were very reasonable! Everyone assumed my wedding in La Jolla cost an arm and a leg, but in fact, I spent less than most anyone else I know and my wedding looked better. The food was delicious too! Actually, 3 years later when I was pregnant, I was craving the exact food I had then! Loved it!

We worked with a wedding coordinator and not the hotel directly. However, the food was great, and the tasting went very well! It was also a great price.

I booked the Sheraton (formally a Raddison) because of the value of the location. They did not tell me that during my wedding, HUGE rennovations were to be taking place which really decreased the beauty of the location. They were unable to provide any compensation for the fact that construction was everywhere which affected the pictures as well as the hotel guest's stays.

Everything about our wedding went smoothly, except for having Sheraton as a reception. The food was delicious, but there was not a lot of flexibility, and when we were told certain things it was suddenly changed, and I would not recommend using this as a place for reception. Our coordinator was 1 star, ghosted us and wasn't even there when we arrived. The whole night she stayed at the bar and didn't help with anything. Days after the wedding multiple family members and guest of the hotel got charged for things they were not informed about ahead of time. I will not stay here or recommend it to anyone.
