I've never been so excited to write a review in my entire life. We were lucky enough to have Dustin as our lead photographer and Leah as our second photographer. I cannot stress enough how important it is that your photographers on your wedding day are just as wonderful as people as they are professional at their job and these two are THE DREAM TEAM. We had several meetings over the phone and Dustin actually kept me as calm as possible even though at times it felt my wedding was falling apart (typical bride craziness) and he was so sweet to me every time we talked and even offered to scout locations for me if I needed him to, and he always reminded me that he and his team will be there for me and that they will capture the most beautiful moments no matter what. When they arrived and we met in person, it was like I had known them for years. A good photographer makes you feel comfortable and effortless behind the camera. Think about it. Posing parents, siblings, wedding parties, flower girls, ring bearers, DOGS (omg, a miracle), and the bride and groom themselves all just magically meshing together posing perfectly no matter what without taking a crazy amount of time? IMPOSSIBLE. It doesn't happen with a photographer that just shows up no matter how great their work may LOOK on their perfectly hand chosen highlighted website! BUT the impossible DOES happen with Dustin and Leah BECAUSE of their warmth and also being killer at their job. They were so professional and smart. They captured each and every photo I wanted without me even having to make sure that they did. I was so worried about certain backgrounds not looking great, but Dustin and Leah went and found a beautiful background for photos that I swear to you, was not there in my eyes before they got there! But when they showed me I was in awe. How many photographers do you know truly scout a location to make sure you don't miss any beauty at your wedding? So many photographers would just find the basics (which is what I was finding), but this team went above and beyond for me. Dustin even fixed my hair for a photo which I highly appreciated because I can't tell you how many times I've seen wedding photos and hair is in someone's face, someones tux is folded up, or a flower girl's shoe fell off, haha! Their creativity, eye for perfection, and professionalism are unmatched. Your wedding day truly does go by so incredibly fast and it's important to have those memorable moments captured by professionals who make you feel comfortable so that the photos look like you were simply having the best day of your life without any awkward posing or nonsense. Natural moments of pure joy are our photos but they look so planned. My husband and I could not have chosen a better company. Everyone at my wedding was talking about how great our photographers were. They are a team of photographers, and I'm sure that anyone from True Photography we would have chosen would have given us these results. But I am biased, so I will say when you book them, and you should like right now...ask for Dustin and Leah ;)
I will add here that we had Ryan as our videographer through Tidal Wedding Films because these two INCREDIBLE companies are connected and SO EASILY bookable and affordable together and I can't recommend these three ENOUGH. The perfect trio, they meshed SO well and we all had a blast together and I haven't stopped looking at our photos since I got them back. I will say that compared to a lot of other photographers I looked at, their price is more affordable than most and the quality of work FAR exceeds their price point. If you are looking for pricing that makes sense, photographers who care about the quality of their work, your happiness on your wedding day, and feeling confident throughout that entire day and every time you look at pictures afterwards, then look no further!

From start to finish, our experience with True Photography was nothing short of incredible. Anita was beyond amazing—so kind, professional, and attentive to every detail. Michael was just as fantastic, making the entire process feel smooth, fun, and stress-free. Our videographer Dustin was outstanding; his creativity, patience, and eye for detail truly set him apart.

True Photography was AMAZING!! Our lead photographer, Josie, really helped capture our day and helped our large group be organized enough to get all our key photos. She worked alongside our videographer amazingly and we couldn't be happier with how the photos turned out! The sprinklers turned on during our after-ceremony shoot and the team handled it so professionally but also captured the moments, allowing us to have a great laugh about it. Turnaround time for the pictures was so fast, we got them back in 7 days. If you are thinking about hiring them, 10/10 recommend. If you can, i would recommend an engagement photoshoot to meet your lead photographer and make sure you vibe with them :)

Jen: Leading up to the wedding day, Jen ensured we had the right time allocation for our day-of photography and videography needs. She ensured we were making informed decisions with our timeline in mind and assigned resources who could handle our specific needs.

Brandon: We worked with Brandon to edit our videography and sincerely appreciated his patience and willingness to work through several iterations. The final cut came out beautifully, which led us to to purchase additional video cuts.

We had such a great experience with this photography team! One thing that really stood out to me was how they assign photographers based on how familiar they are with the venue. That gave me so much peace of mind knowing our photographer would already know the best spots, angles, and lighting.

We booked Pauleen for both our engagement shoot and our wedding day, and we absolutely loved working with her. She made us feel comfortable, gave us tons of beautiful options for our save the dates, and I knew right away we’d get amazing wedding photos too.

The turnaround time was also super impressive. They have an in-house editing team dedicated to retouching photos, while the photographers focus only on shooting. Because of that, we got our wedding gallery back faster than any of the other companies I had looked into.
