Mary and her team handled all the florals for our wedding - bouquets, boutonnières, arch flowers, aisle flowers, etc. - and even the centerpieces. Mary really cares about her client’s vision for the day! She had several calls with us to walk through what she has to offer, and what we wanted. Everything turned out beautiful and we highly recommend the team!

Mary with Elements of Style ans ger staff were completely and utterly amazing. Honestly I am so glad she was recommended to us by Kona Kai Resort. She was amazing she is a one stop shop and she actually cares about your happiness and the love you have on your special day. My husband loved her, so did my family and all my friends. We got nonstop compliments on the flowers, everything was amazing. This is the place and best this she is local to San Diego area so we were really glad we had her, honestly our wedding would not have been as beautiful without her, and we no longer live in the area and she got our vision and the day was perfect. She is AMAZING!!

We found Mary through our day-of coordinator, and I am so glad we did! I am not a huge floral girl, but it was important to my mom, and she worked with my comfort level to create arrangements that fit our tropical aesthetic perfectly. She went above and beyond, bringing a level of beauty that complemented our wedding party and the venue above what I could have imagined. She and her assistant stepped up and helped set up the venue with the short timeframe they were given after another event in the same space, to make sure it was complete when we arrived.

One final shoutout that seems small, but sticks with me as one of my favorite moments of the day, Mary made sure my dress was fluffed, my dad looked great, and everything was on point right before we walked down the aisle. Having someone give us so much care and attention to detail in that moment showed how much she truly cares about her clients and brides. It was so touching, and I would work with her again in a heartbeat!

Mary was a wonderful officiant, and she poured a lot of thought and love into our wedding ceremony. We were connected with Mary through the venue we were eloping at. She had an introduction call with us and sent us each a Questionnaire to complete so she could learn more about us and what we were envisioning for our ceremony. She had a follow up call with us a week or two before the ceremony to go over the draft she had written and get our approval. Mary also offered floral services at the time and created a gorgeous bouquet and boutonnière for us. Not only was Mary so sweet and kind throughout the whole process, she also alleviated a huge stress for us at the 11th hour. We were having a destination elopement so we didn’t get to see the location until the afternoon before the ceremony. It ended up not being at all what we had in mind. My husband called Mary that evening and she immediately eased our concerns and, being an expert on the location from her extensive experience officiating there, provided guidance on a location at the property that better fit what we had envisioned - intimate, private, romantic and surrounded by the beauty of nature. It was perfect! The ceremony ended up being slightly different than we planned but it was beautiful, Mary guided us on exactly what to do so we could stay in the moment. She also recommended two local restaurants for us to celebrate at and they were both wonderful! You can tell Mary genuinely loves doing what she does and genuinely cares about her couples and making their ceremony one that is special and deeply personalized to them.

My husband and I eloped and decided to have our small ceremony at the Kona Kai San Diego Resort. Mary Bowerman is the officiant and wedding planner they partner with and we absolutely couldn’t have pictured our special day without her. From the moment we met, Mary just has this beautiful energy, a genuine sense of love and understanding for all her clients. We felt an immediate connection with her. She loves her job so much that she underwent surgery days before our ceremony and still made sure everything would be ready (luckily her surgery went very well and she was well rested, assured us she wanted to be present). Mary Bowerman LITERALLY made our wedding-- it was a super small 12 person wedding but, Mary made it feel so special!! We gave her pretty minimal instruction on our wedding vows and the florals-- yet she still managed to bring our vision to life. She exceeded our expectations as both the officiant and florist. She is very communicative and she went out of her way to get us a mini wedding cake (completely unprompted) Several of the guests went out of their way to share that she was the best officiant they've experienced for a wedding. Can't recommend her enough!!

Mary and her team are INCREDIBLE! From our initial consultation with her, we knew she was highly experienced, professional, and knew what she was doing. Throughout the process, she met with us in person several times before our wedding day, and held additional phone calls to make sure all details and timelines were up to date. Mary is detail-oriented, thorough, and so knowledgeable about the wedding industry/wedding day and she made our day so special and seamless! Our venue, the Coronado Community Center, is only a venue and we needed to hire all of our vendors separately. Mary was instrumental in making sure all the vendors were on the same page, before and during our wedding day. I had Mary's team set up all of the centerpiece we brought, and they did a fantastic job and made it look even more beautiful than I could have imagined. I got married in San Diego, at the Mission Bay Resort 6/21/2024, and Mary was my Coordinator, Florist and Officiant. Mary gave my small, intimate, elopement ceremony a beautiful sophisticated wedding vibe, and my husband and I could not have been more pleased. We got more than we bargained for. I live in Illinois and my guest and I were traveling in from multiple places and Mary was my eyes and ears. She listened to my vision, understood and respected our budget and created a wonderful experience our guest and I are still talking about. The ceremony style she used to officiate our ceremony was so beautifully spoken and executed well by her. The added virtual rose ceremony I recommend for everyone. It's such a beautiful addition about the virtuals your marriage stand on, and it's beautifully officiated by Mary. Our guest were intrigued. Our ceremony was non traditional, we did it our way. Mary also handled our after ceremony arrangement, arranging for complimentary cocktails for ech of our guest on us, at a beautiful outdoor lounge over looking the bay with large fire pits, beautiful views of fireworks and live music our guest enjoyed. Did I mention she recommended a great photographer who she's worked with before, that fit our photographer needs perfectly. Her team the day of ceremony was just as nice as Mary. We met Mary by chance in person while she was getting ready to ordain another wedding. It was truly meant to be, and we had an instant connection. We had a few phone calls leading up to our wedding day, and went over all the different scripts and timelines of what was going to happen. She really made us feel heard and comfortable with everything.
On wedding day Mary delivered a beautifully spoken ceremony and knew all the spots to step out of view so we have those special photos of just the two of us.

Mary officiated our wedding, and she brought an abundance of love to our day. Mary’s experience and heart make her the perfect person to help facilitate a monumental day in any couple’s journey. It was truly an honor to have her there. Though I’d been with my now husband for 7 years and had been telling him that I love him for all of them, I was at a bit of a loss for how to properly tell him in front of a crowd of family and friends. I was referred to Mary by one of her friends who was unavailable, which really is just a testament to the wonderful people Mary surrounds herself with. Mary was not only quick to respond (a rare quality in the wedding industry), but her energy and ideas immediately gave me ease in setting up a ceremony script. It was the perfect balance of things that just come with true love and things that were personal to us. Planning was stressful and on a particularly difficult day, I even found myself reading our script to get my feet back on the ground. I can’t thank her enough.
