A marriage license in New Mexico will cost you between $25 and $40 in cash. If you're over 24, you only need to bring your social security number and your driver's license. Anyone under 24 must provide a birth certificate or a passport. You don't need to be a resident of the state, nor is there a waiting period after you've received your license. Your New Mexico marriage license is valid for one year from the date of issue.
