New Mexico's capital, Santa Fe, is a small city with big personality nestled into the Rocky Mountains. Visit the White Sands National Monument, where you can explore 275 square miles of white gypsum sand dunes. The New Mexico Rail Runner Express is the commuter train running through Santa Fe and Albuquerque. Folks can travel between the two cities this way, or can connect with Amtrak, Greyhound, or Rio Metro buses to travel to other areas. Albuquerque International Sunport is the state's largest airport, so folks coming in from out of state are likely to arrive here. A marriage license in New Mexico will cost you between $25 and $40 in cash. If you're over 24, you only need to bring your social security number and your driver's license. Anyone under 24 must provide a birth certificate or a passport. You don't need to be a resident of the state, nor is there a waiting period after you've received your license. Your New Mexico marriage license is valid for one year from the date of issue.
