Hiring Colleen from CCS Events for partial wedding planning was easily one of the best decisions we made for our big day. She always knew exactly what needed to be done and when, and she was never more than an email or text away when I had a question! Her experience really showed as she thought of details that I would have completely overlooked, and it made such a difference. She had an answer to my questions before I even had a chance to ask!

Another aspect of CCS Events that stood out was how connected she is in the Northern Virginia wedding industry. She works with an amazing network of vendors who clearly love working with her! Every vendor she recommended and we chose to work with from photography and makeup, to florals and the shuttle bus service, it made the entire planning experience so smooth and helped calm my feelings of being overwhelmed.

On the day of the wedding, Colleen handled everything!! From timelines, coordination, setup, and even quietly fixing my bustle while I was on the dance floor! I didn’t have to worry about a single thing and was truly able to enjoy every moment, knowing she had it all under control. Our wedding was absolutely perfect, and I genuinely don’t think it would have been without her! Multiple family members made comments about how kind and helpful she was throughout the night!

One of the most memorable touches she added was securing the dream tent I had always envisioned. The tent was absolutely stunning – elegant, spacious, and beautifully decorated. It was the perfect setting for our celebration, and it truly transformed the entire atmosphere of our big day.

Another highlight was the drone footage. Colleen went above and beyond to arrange for a drone to capture the wedding from breathtaking angles. The footage was beyond what we could have imagined, giving us unique memories to look back on for years to come.

As someone who is used to handling her own events and details I appreciated being able to turn my daughter’s wedding over to someone incredibly professional who listened to my daughter, understood her vision, coordinated all details and vendors, and allowed us to simply enjoy the entire process and special day. Colleen has relationships with many local vendors, making the process of choosing who we wanted to handle florals, DJs, photographers, etc much easier than trying to figure it out on our own. She has the knowledge and experience to make recommendations that gave us exactly what we wanted and kept us within our budget. She is calm in the face of panic You won’t find anyone else so perfectly suited to wedding event planning.

I'm an anxious person by nature and Colleen kept me sane through the entire planning process. I love 2 hours from the venue we got married at and she worked with my schedule to make sure there was constant communication.

We hired CCS as our day of coordinator. Colleen stepped in a month before our wedding day and was so helpful and organized. She helped out with our timeline and dotting the i’s and crossing the T’s.
