The Wedding Ceremony itself is the most important part of the day, of your life. Who you have stand before and preside over your ceremony is very crucial. Your Wedding Ceremony is about YOU, the bride and groom. It is about your commitment to EACH OTHER before God, your friends and family.
An an ordained minister, with 40 years' experience as a pastor, I have officiated 856 weddings...and counting... in Palm Beach, Broward, and Miami-Dade Counties in South Florida as well as New York. Many of these have been interfaith ceremonies. I work with each couple individually, taking elements from each of your denominational tradition(s). Then I create a personalized sacred and joyful interfaith wedding ceremony, meaningful to each of you and both of you as a couple.
We meet in my home to get to know one anoher better so that you feel comforatble with the person that stands before you as you vow to love each other for the rest of your lives. We then meet again a couple of weeks prior to the wedding ceremony to talk about the specifics of the actual ceremony. In addition to the traditional, or not so traditional vows, I recommend that you each write your own personal vows to each other. to be read during the ceremony. If it is not practical to meet personally we can meet through Skype.
As you prepare for your Florida wedding, you may not have a "home church" with a pastor that you have known for years. Or, you are planning to have a destination wedding with a few close family and friends. It would be my joy to perform a meaningful Personal, Sacred, & Joyful Ceremony as you make your lifetime commitment to each other.
I meet with you to make sure I am the right officiant to make your dreams come true. From the first draft of the vows to the ceremony, I will work with you to make sure your ceremony is a dream come true. In addition I offer vow writing, phone and email consultations, and rehearsals. I perform a variety of ceremonies, including:

Rev. Paul was the officiant at our Wedding held at Benvenuto Venue Boynton Beach.
We loved having this reverend officiate our wedding. His sermon was absolutely lovely, full of wise words and also very funny! He was engaging with the guests and wore a mask for safety. He was on time. Highly recommend.Sent on 12/31/2020

Rev Paul was very professional
Rev. Paul was very flexible and performed our ceremony exactly as we asked. We were married in August 2020 and did not want to leave our home. Rev Paul came to our home and performed the wedding wearing a mask. It was a beautiful and intimate ceremony. I highly recommend Rev Paul as an officiant.Sent on 12/30/2020
Rev. Paul K. Underhay's reply:It was a pleasure to be a part of your intimate wedding. in your home. None of us could have foreseen all that has taken place this year, but I pray that it draws you closer during this first year of marriage. God bless, Pastor Paul
It is always a pleasure to play the harp for weddings that Pastor Paul is officiating. I enjoy watching how the couple relates to him, how he puts them at ease to be able to savor this special moment in time. It is particularly special as we work together with a couple to create the ceremony they have always dreamed of.
