The best person to unite a marriage

Pastor Paul married my husband and I on October 2023. He was gracious, professional, respects different religious backgrounds and makes you feel very comfortable during your ceremony when all you can think of is how nervous you are. He has a very nice, soothing voice and he even comes with some jokes. Everyone on my wedding day loved him and said he was perfect. I highly recommend his services! He also has a lovely wife named Esther that I also hired for the ceremony to play the harp. She was magnificent! My wedding was a dream come true. Pastor Paul and Esther, you guys are amazing!

We Love Pastor Paul!

Pastor Paul was one of the very best decisions we made for our wedding. From the beginning, he took the time to truly get to know us, not just as a couple, but as individuals and as we prepared for marriage. His warmth, wisdom, and genuine care made us feel so comfortable throughout the entire process.

On our wedding day, he brought such a powerful presence to the ceremony. He struck the perfect balance between elegance, joy, and faith, creating a ceremony that felt deeply personal and meaningful. His homily was exceptional, thoughtful, heartfelt, and beautifully delivered. It reflected our relationship so well while also grounding the ceremony in the importance of faith and marriage.

So many of our guests commented afterward on how much they loved Pastor Paul and how moving the ceremony was. He brought a spiritual depth that made the day feel even more special and sacred.

Beyond being an incredible officiant, Pastor Paul is a consummate professional. He was organized, responsive, polished, and made every step of the process seamless. We are so grateful for the role he played in our wedding and cannot recommend him highly enough.

A Midsummer Night's Dream

Can't say enough about Pastor Paul! He put us instantly at ease with his playful sense of humor and his obvious love for his job. And that rich, resonant theatrical voice! Made quite the impression at our wedding. He's a showman, but he's also a good listener who took the time learn our story and craft a ceremony that was just right for us. And that made the magic even stronger. We highly recommend him!

Perfect Day!

Pastor Paul was great to work with. He was very flexible, easy going with our plans, and professional. We got married In August outdoors in Miami and he was able to conduct our ceremony beautifully, while being mindful of length to ensure guests were not too hot. Definitely an amazing experience and would recommend!

The Farquharson Wedding 6/9/24

Pastor Paul was absolutely a pleasure to have to officiate our wedding. He made sure that we were so comfortable and we’re able to focus on just each other during the ceremony. Not only did he come a couple hours early before the ceremony to make sure he was there and we didn’t have to worry about him being there on time but he came to each of us individually as we were getting ready to check and see how we were doing. I won’t forget what he said all we had to do was remember each others name and as funny as it sounds it was so great that we didn’t have to overthink so much and he just made the process so much easier for our ceremony. Everyone that was at the wedding was complimenting how great he was and what a wonderful service he did during the ceremony. He did a great job performing our ceremony the way we wanted it! We highly recommend Pastor Paul!

Picking an officiant was one of the vendors I stressed and over-analyzed the most! It’s such a hard decision especially if you’re not a member of a church or know someone personally. Paul Underhay was the perfect match for us. He is incredibly professional, communicative, his voice is so unique which really adds a special touch to the ceremony in my opinion. A Kind Soul. Thoughtful and Heartfelt Ceremonies.

I am writing as an associate of Pastor Paul Underhay. While a couple, hopefully, does this just once, Pastor Paul, and I do this many times per year. I work as a DJ / MC for mostly weddings, and I've seen and heard Paul perform ceremonies many times in well over 2 decades now. I've referred him to friends for his expertise, kindness, and all-around good soul for this very special day. As the guy that sets up the microphone, I have to wait for the "pronouncement" of the married couple. So I have to listen! I'm moved when Pastor Paul does this every time. Rev. Paul did an amazing job!

Rev. Paul did an amazing job officiating our wedding! He made sure to get to know my husband and I prior to the wedding day, and how we wanted the ceremony to flow. Before walking down the aisle, he pulled us to the side to calm down any nerves we had and let us know to follow his lead throughout the ceremony for all to go smoothly. We truly appreciated having Rev. Paul as a huge part of our special day!

we were married December 2012 by pastor paul and 10 years from them exact date we renewed our vows with 80 of our closest friends attending. Great experience - highly recommend!

Pastor Paul was amazing at officiating our wedding. I wanted the ceremony as close to a Catholic ceremony as possible and Pastor Paul listened to all my requests and made it happen. He kept in contact from interviewing to the wedding day. He kept us all calm the day of and made it so that we could enjoy the moment, without having to worry about the ceremony. Wonderful officiant!

Pastor Paul officiated our wedding this year and he did a wonderful job! He was very responsive as soon as I reached out to him and available to answer every question I had up until the wedding day. He was able to incorporate our religious background into the ceremony and helped us coordinate for my grandmother to do a reading in Spanish (I wanted to include a portion in Spanish for my family and he provided various ideas). He was also very professional and added humor to lighten the ceremony. I highly recommend hiring him for your wedding!

Rev. Paul was the officiant at our Wedding held at Benvenuto Venue Boynton Beach.

We loved having this reverend officiate our wedding. His sermon was absolutely lovely, full of wise words and also very funny! He was engaging with the guests and wore a mask for safety. He was on time. Highly recommend.

Rev Paul was very professional

Rev. Paul was very flexible and performed our ceremony exactly as we asked. We were married in August 2020 and did not want to leave our home. Rev Paul came to our home and performed the wedding wearing a mask. It was a beautiful and intimate ceremony. I highly recommend Rev Paul as an officiant.

Absolutely Amazing

My wife and I hired Pastor Paul to officiate our wedding this past June at the Sundy House in Delray, Fl. He did an absolutely amazing job! From the first time we talked with him, we knew that he had to be our officiant. He was very invested in our vision for the wedding. With both of us having slightly differing religious beliefs, we were worried going in on how our ceremony would go. However, Pastor Paul did an excellent job blending elements of both faiths into the ceremony seamlessly. He made the ceremony one to remember with his wit, sincerity, and relaxed approach. He was absolutely great to work with and we recommend him highly.

We knew Rev. Underhay was right for us the moment we heard his voice. He had a calming spirit . We had a Christian wedding and he provided us with with a church certificate which is common in the Caribbean where I am from. Rev Underhay made our day amazing. Pastor Paul was excellent! His presence and spark made our ceremony! I planned a long distance wedding so we did not meet him prior to the day of. He came fully prepared, on time, and was extremely helpful with the flow of the whole ceremony. We received several compliments on him from our guests. His voice, charm and demeanor are MADE for this! If you are emailing him, he can take a little while to respond (which made me worried at one point) but trust me, he knows what he's doing and is reliable. I'd use him again and again! Thank you, Pastor Paul; you made our day truly magical!

Pastor Paul was a joy to work with from beginning to end. He took the time to meet with us multiple times in advance to get to know us and to ensure that the ceremony he performed was a true reflection of the two of us. My husband and I come from very different religious backgrounds, so this wasn't an easy task! Pastor Paul was receptive to our ideas and allowed us to incorporate our own readings and vows. He has a very calming presence which is so nice during the stress of planning a wedding and on the day itself. Our wedding in March was amazing and guests said the ceremony was one of the most touching and beautiful they had ever been a part of.

Rev. Paul Underhay and his wife Esther were absolutely wonderful! They separately met with us, and took the time to get to know about us, our family and what we were hoping to plan for our special day. Rev. Paul gave us suggestions of venues in the area, one of which we choose that was just perfect. He also had several sample ceremony vows from which to choose, or we were able to create our own. We chose to change a bit of the wording of one, which became the perfect marriage vows and ceremony for us. Esther’s exquisite harp music added so much beauty, as well as the Irish touch we were hoping for. Rev. Paul even ended our ceremony with an Irish blessing, which added a special touch for us. We were blessed, indeed, to have found both of them - they truly made our day wonderful!

Rev Paul married Ray and I March 2017. From our first phone call and meeting, we knew we made an excellent choice and we were in good hands. We met with him well in advance of our wedding day. He asked questions to get to know about us to personalize our ceremony. We met again prior to the wedding and felt like he was a friend. We found the prepared vows on his website very helpful and were able to use some of that along with our own personal heartfelt words to create the perfect ceremony for us. Pastor Paul was fantastic, we couldn't have asked for anyone more accommodating. The initial meeting, all correspondence and the ceremony were all seamless, a beautiful day and an amazing memory. His wife was also a wonderful part of our special day. She played harp prior to the ceremony and immediately after.

Pastor Paul (and his wife, who performed our ceremony and cocktail hour music on the harp), made our wedding day truly special. The ceremony was the most important aspect for my now husband, and because of this, we were a little hesitant when finding someone to perform the ceremony--until we spoke with Pastor Paul. From the first meeting to the final conversation a few days before the wedding, Pastor Paul was wonderful and left us so truly excited to be getting married. During the planning of our mixed faith (Jewish and Christian) wedding, he was extremely helpful in his suggestions of how to incorporate both religions, while still allowing us to personalize the ceremony in a way that felt right for us. The day of the wedding, he and his wife arrived well ahead of time to meet with us and run through the ceremony (which, as he will tell you, he will carry you through--a huge comfort on such an big day). He was more than flexible during the morning, allowing us to meet and check in between photo sessions. The ceremony itself was just perfect. For having only met with him a few times, we both felt that he captured our "spirit" as a couple and the mood that we had pictured for our union. His ceremony was touching with just the right amount of levity. He was kind enough to send in our marriage license for us, which was another huge help when I was trying to play hostess to so many guests. Combine all this with the near magical element that his wife, Esther's harp performance provided, and I can only say it was our ideal ceremony. I wholeheartedly encourage any couples who are looking to at least speak with Pastor Paul, because I can guarantee that once you do, you will be as taken as we were. Thank you both for such a beautiful ceremony, which was perhaps the greatest gift we could ask for on our wedding day.

Pastor Paul was everything I could have hoped for on my big day. I was pretty stressed about finding a good officiant but the second I met Pastor Paul, I knew he was the guy. You can tell he had done this a million times, he was so confident and made me feel like I had nothing to worry about. He kept the ceremony short and sweet and even added a few jokes in, the guests loved him. I would 100% recommend him to any bride!

Paster Paul was absolutely amazing! Finding an officiant was something we had put off for a while and after reading his raving reviews we decided to meet him. He was so easy to talk with and gave us so many options and suggestions for making our wedding day perfect and that it was! We are so Thankful for Rev. Paul Underhay. Right from the first phone call, we felt comfortable talking with him as we prepared the details for our destination wedding in Palm Beach, Florida. We had not met Pastor Paul previously because we had a destination wedding. Pastor Paul was warm, friendly, and easy to work with. We liked that he made suggestions, such as a sand ceremony, that we had not considered, and it added a special touch to our day. Pastor Paul is amazing! After Pastor Paul officiated my sister's wedding a few years ago, I just knew that we had to make sure he would be available for our wedding. We had a great experience with Pastor Paul. He was always on time on our appointments and answered to any of our doubts. Rev Paul and his wife on harp made our wedding perfect. Proper amount of communication prior to the event, updates prior to confirm and we knew everything was in great hands. They both arrived early by design prior to the wedding, and immediately went to work making us feel 100% comfortable and at perfect ease. They allowed extra time after in case we ran a little behind, and in fact suggested we delay the service a few minutes to take advantage of a perfectly beautiful sunset. Rev Paul even helped set up the alter best, and had ideas for our wonderful photographer Igor on some great pics. Thank you Rev and Mrs Paul! See you in 10 years to renew our vows. How about on Nevis at the Four Seasons this time!

We booked Pastor Paul for our wedding in November 2015. We knew he was the one right after meeting with him. He takes the time to get to know you and helps you create a ceremony format that works for you and your groom. He is very professional and punctual. Also, he has the greatest voice! When he speaks, he really moves you and has such a presense. After our ceremony, we had guests come up to us and say wow what a great officiant and they really loved his voice. I would highly recommended Pastor Paul. We had a destination wedding in Singer Island and Pastor Paul was always available to clarify our doubts and explain how the whole ceremony worked. He was able to meet with us in our only day available prior to the wedding to go over all the steps. In the wedding day, he showed up early to make sure everything was ok and during the ceremony he was brilliant, he made me feel really confident and made everybody laugh. We also had his wife Esther playing the harp at our beach ceremony. I would definitely recommend her as well, she is an amazing harpist(The Elegant Harp). Thank you Pastor Paul!!!

Pastor Paul was amazing! Because we were having a destination wedding in Jupiter, Florida, he called me well in advance to chat and just try to get to know my husband and myself. He asked lots of questions to make sure that he would have plenty of information to make the ceremony everything that we had wanted. He also had all of the answers to my many questions. He was very professional and attentive to this stressed out bride. It is very hard to make decisions about your special day without having met any of the people you are putting your trust in, and Pastor Paul made me feel completely at ease and confident that our ceremony would be taken care of! During the rehearsal, he was very patient with our wedding party, and walked us through step by step, so we would know what to expect the next day. He also was calm and collected during our whirlwind of a ceremony. It ended up pouring and we decided to wait the weather out for about an hour, but Pastor Paul never complained, and met us under our arch with a smile on his face and an umbrella in his hand (just in case)! I have heard nothing but good things from all of my friends and family who attended the event. They thought he was hilarious and had such a wonderful spirit. The reviews about him are true, and I'm so glad I trusted the opinions of the many people before me. He is definitely someone I would highly recommend.

We loved Pastor Paul!

He was very attentive, easy to talk to, and flexible. He officiated our wedding at the Marriott Stanton in Miami Beach. Planning a destination wedding was difficult, but with Pastor Paul's help he definitely relieved some of our worries. Since we live in Connecticut we were able to Skype with him to discuss details. I loved the fact that he visited the Bridal Suite on our wedding day to check on me, and spent some time mingling with the my mom, mother-in-law, and my bridesmaids! They all loved him too! I highly recommend his services. Everything was PERFECT!

Pastor Paul performed a beautiful ceromony for our barefoot beach wedding on Hollywood Beach. Prior, we talked on the phone several times and he walked us through the process. Pastor Paul officiated our small wedding in downtown West Palm Beach earlier this month and we could not have had a better time! We met with him earlier in the week, prior to the wedding to go over how everything would happen, the order of the bridal party, what we needed to remember, etc. He did such a great job in making us feel relaxed and able to focus on each other during such an important day for the both of us. He even added a little humor to keep the mood light when tears of joy were shed; even offering his pocket square to the groom to wipe away tears of happiness! Both Pastor Paul and my husband are Mustang buffs, which dominated most of our meeting conversation in the days prior to the wedding. So for the wedding, he made sure his Mustang was washed/waxed and squeaky clean for us to snap a couple pictures in post ceremony! He did such a great job, we could not have chosen better!

Pastor Paul was amazing! He made us feel very comfortable with the whole ceremony sequence, especially on such a nerve-wracking day! For our first meeting he invited is over to his office which is right on the inter coastal. The whole set up was very relaxing and peaceful. Pastor Paul is very easy going and made us laugh. He was absolutely amazing and touched everyone at our ceremony. Most of out guests came from Europe and they loved how he spoke with so much grace and love. I as a bride was nervous and my veil flew right off my head and he just made the whole ceremony so smooth and warm. An amazing Man and spiritual guide. Reverend Underhay was absolutely amazing! He met with us in advance to feel out exactly what type of ceremony we were having and walked us through every step to make sure we were as prepared and calm as could be.

He is a true professional, and you can tell he has done this a million times. He speaks very well and has an incredible tone to his voice. Lindsey and I rave about him all the time, and couldn't have asked for a better pastor (we've been to 3 weddings since and bring up how much we appreciate him after seeing some others).

If there was a higher rating then 5, I would give it. Everything about our day was perfect, including him.

Pastor Paul performed our Christian ceremony a few months ago. We had 2 weddings in 1 day...the first being the Christian ceremony. We came across Pastor Paul's services online and upon reading reviews, called and arranged a meeting. We met at his "office" in a gazebo overlooking the water on a beautiful evening and probably talked for about an hour before we got into anything wedding related. He is such an amazingly genuine and kind man. We spoke about our families, our travels, our lives and felt an immediate connection. When we started talking about the wedding ceremony, We had no doubts at all about having Pastor Paul conduct our ceremony.
From that meeting on, we spoke via email and phone and we were more than reassured that everything would be perfect and go very smoothly. It was more than perfect!! His voice, words of wisdom and ability to keep us and everyone around us smiling and laughing at some moments made our ceremony that much more special to us. I feel like we had known each other for so much longer. We not only feel like we found a lovely person to perform our ceremony but hopefully a long time friend that will continue to remain a part of our lives as we begin this journey.

Pastor Paul Underhay performed our wedding ceremony(Rey and Janelle) at the wyndham hotel in Deerfield beach Florida. We really appreciated his service. He is down to earth, he put our minds at ease. Planning a wedding is time consuming, stressful and did I mention (may turn you into bridezilla), not really but, it seem that way. Pastor Paul kept in touch with us. He tells us what to expect and most important, do not think just do what he says. (laugh) it actually worked because by the time I got to the ceremony I was beat but he was graceful as always. If anyone is planning a wedding in the near future I would recommend pastor Paul. Call him, send an email whatever works for you. You will not be disappointed, I promise. Happy weeding planning.

Pastor Paul was extremely helpful with planning our ceremony. He met with us a few times to get to know us as a couple and discuss what we wanted for our ceremony. He has a great presence and a wonderful voice. His services were reasonably priced. He gave us great guidance as a couple and calmed us through our nerves before our vows. From the moment my husband and I met Pastor Paul we knew he would be absolutely PERFECT as our officiant. He has a great sense of humor that will brighten up anyone's day and helped ease some wedding day tension. He made us feel comfortable from beginning to end and was always available to answer any questions and/or concerns. Pastor Paul is very flexible and can tailor your ceremony to be however you want. He was able to incorporate both of our religions to satisfy both sides of the family. It was everything we ever dreamed of !!!

Choosing Pastor Paul to officiate our ceremony in Palm Beach was a great decision. Pastor Paul was an absolute pleasure to work with. From the moment my husband and I met him, we knew he was perfect for our ceremony. He guided us through the entire process, and gave us ideas on how to make our day our own. He incorporated all of the religious aspects into our ceremony we wanted, which was important to us since we were getting married outdoors and not in a church. On the day of our wedding we had some bad weather coming in, and he made it through the ceremony before the rain all while making our guests feel comfortable. He made me feel like he cared about our special day, and I have heard from several guests that his humor and personality made our ceremony perfect. Pastor Paul officiated a small intimate wedding, early in October, on the beach of Avalon State Park he was wonderful from the onset (still interviewing Officiates) to the end (after the ceremony). My then Fiancé and I spoke with Pastor Paul over the phone, and later met at his home. He was not trying to sell his service, but to allow us get to know him and feel comfortable with him officiating on our wedding day. We knew right away… Pastor Paul was the Officiate we wanted. We again met with him a couple of weeks before the wedding, to go over any last minute details. My husband and I were very picky with certain words, and what we wanted read…Pastor Paul, was great, he kept saying, “it is your day, and we will do what you want”. That, of course, was very reassuring.

The day of the wedding his professionalism and experience shined through. My husband and his family were stuck in a an hour long traffic jam making him about an hour late to get to the beach and set- up on the beach. My family and I were on our way to the ceremony, and Pastor Paul called me and made light of a slightly tense situation asking “Did someone get cold feet”. I had to smile. But Pastor Paul reassured us that he and his wife Ester Underhay (the Harpist) were at Avalon State Park waiting, and would still be there when we arrived. He also informed us that storm clouds were coming through. Again, reassured us, saying Florida weather is fickle, it will storm, and then get sunning and have a rainbow, and produce the most beautiful sun setting skies in the world. That is exactly what happened.

In summary, I couldn’t have asked for a better wedding officiate. As many brides can attest, the wedding Officiate is paramount for a successful ceremony. Our guests commented on Pastor Paul’s personableness (it should be a word), and his professionalism that helped make our wedding truly wonderful.

Pastor Paul officiated our ceremony at the Jupiter Beach Resort on Friday June 6 2014. He was a pleasure to work with throughout the process, and I knew I liked him after our first phone call. He really cares, and listens, about the type of ceremony you would like for your special day. My family had many variables - we have Jehovah's Witnesses on one side and some Catholic and non denomination on the other side, so you can imagine the dynamics. I feel like we pleased everyone, but especially ourselves! We met with Pastor Paul at his residence for our first meet and greet session, and then again two weeks before the wedding. He took the time to get to know us and since we didn't have our own family pastor, we felt he was a great fit for us. His voice has a commanding presence and it carried well throughout the crowd, and he's also funny! We opted for him to wear a suit vs. the formal Pastor clerical clothing since we were having a beach wedding and wanted to keep it somewhat informal. He came early to the ceremony leaving time to meet with both me and my husband before the ceremony to go over things, but mostly to remind us that we don't have to think or worry about a thing once we got up there, and he was right. I had the utmost confidence in Pastor Paul and he delivered a lovely ceremony for the best day of my life! Thank you Pastor Paul, we really couldn't be happier with choosing you!

It was truly wonderful for my husband and I to work with Rev. Paul K. Underhay -- or Pastor Paul as we called him. Pastor Paul has done a lot of weddings and right away puts you at ease that clearly he knows what he is doing. In our first meeting he took the time to get to know where my now husband and I were coming from, what we were looking for in our ceremony, and shared his experience of what works best. What came out on our wedding day was our ideal ceremony! Our guests enjoyed the ceremony, Pastor Paul's message, and also his humor that he threw in here and there. He walked my husband and I through the whole process and we didn't even have to think about what we were doing up there in front of everyone, which--trust me--at that point you're not thinking!! What was also nice about Pastor Paul that several of my guests pointed out, was that he speaks loudly enough and clearly enough that everyone could hear him in attendance. I also really appreciated that he took care of mailing in our wedding license for us after the ceremony since we were leaving right away for our honeymoon. We really enjoyed working with Pastor Paul and would highly recommend him to anyone!!!
