Jillian was accomodating to our schedule, prompt, and efficient with the time she spent with us on our dance lessons. This is the second wedding where we used Jillian's services. We are impressed with the personal and professional experience enabling anyone without any dance knowledge to make a unique impression and lasting & forever memory of a that special moment in a father/daughter or newlywed's lives. Jillian created a unique dance choreographed with the music of our choosing. Jillian made it easy to learn, step by step and paid attention to subtle but important aspects for the audience and photographer. She is patient and makes learning fun. She is a remarkable teacher.

Jillian is a very sweet woman who really listened to us about what we wanted and how we wanted to express ourselves on our very special day. We went for a total of five lessons and we were completely comfortable working with Jillian.

Everyone LOVED our first dance, thanks to Jillian our dance instructor. We were able to dance and feel like we actually knew what we were doing! We were a little nervous on the big day for our first dance, but it went off without a hitch!

Now we are thinking of doing some salsa lessons with Jillian.

We loved working with Jillian! She choreographed a fabulous dance for us that fit beautifully with our music and matched our skill level. She was very pleasant, flexible with our scheduling, and made us both feel very comfortable throughout the process. We would highly recommend her to others and we would love to take some more lessions from her in the future just for fun!

Let me start by saying that I rarely give 5 stars across the board to anyone, and I realize that 5 star reviews sometimes are not the most helpful or credible. A few months before my wedding, I decided that I didn't want my first dance with my wife to look like two 7th graders awkwardly swaying back and forth at the junior high dance. It's not that I wanted to memorize a routine, I just wanted to learn a few steps that would give my guests the impression of being able to dance with a little class and charm. So I checked out a bunch of OC dance websites and made some calls, and eventually talked to Jillian. Right away I liked her enthusiasm and flexibility. Unlike other dance centers, Jillian didn't try to sell me a block of private + group lessons that I didn't need. When I explained that my wife and I had no ballroom experience and wanted to learn some steps for our song, Jillian said she had some ideas we could start with, and how far we go from there would be up to us, depending on how much we wanted to add and how much we could lesson/practice before the wedding. Jillian was very accommodating and we were able to schedule lessons around our work/wedding-planning calendars. We had a lot of fun -- even though she is advanced, Jillian is very good at slowing the pace, focusing on basics and giving easy-to-understand pointers to beginners like us (which is true skill). In fact, I figured that as long as we're having fun, why not learn steps for the mother-son dance, to have a different look and feel from the first dance? So my parents joined us for a lesson and enjoyed it. On the big day, both dances were big hits and our guests were impressed. At some point, when my wife and I can pick up dancing again, we definitely will re-connect with Jillian.

Jillian was so much fun to work with. She was energetic, supportive, and fun. She always had many ideas for our dance and always kept our meetings fun! I (the bride) was terrified on the wedding day to dance in front of everyone, but with Jillian's teachings and the skills she taught my husband, he was able to keep us calm and our dance went flawlessly. I am so glad that we hired Jillian to teach us some simple but beautiful moves rather than just relying on the old hug-and-rock slow dance!

What a wonderful experience we had with Jillian! We had not planned on taking lessons until we went to a wedding and saw how bad the couple did and decided we couldn't do that to our guests or us! We called Jillian 2 weeks before the wedding and we had time to take 4 lessons and what a delight she is and what fun we had. We took in 2 songs to her, one thinking would be too much with such little time and the other a simple song. She came up with such great ideas and put everything together for us and making it look so easy to the more difficult song. She even put our "moves" on paper so that we could practice at home. Jillian made it so easy to work with our busy schedules and was so flexible.

We received so many compliments from our guests and our DJ of how much fun it was to watch us and how well we did and
believe me, my husband has two left feet. People are STILL talking about our first dance!

If you are thinking of taking lessons and debating of putting the money aside, you will be wonderfully surprised and how much fun you will have. What a great way to take your mind off of the wedding plans if just for an hour to spend with each other and remember why you are getting married.

We highly recommend this dance teacher! She was awesome and our dance was the highlight of our wedding. People were in awe of our performance and without Jill's expert teaching, it would not have been possible.
