Salon Mario Russo is an outstanding establishment. Their services & attentiveness is exceptional. I have been getting my hair styled by Monika for years. I knew I had to have her do my hair for my wedding. During our trial, we tested a gorgeous low, classic bun. It was beautiful but when the wedding day arrived I wanted to pivot to a pony tail. Monika was able to execute it perfectly even though it was so last minute. She really can do anything and her experience speaks for itself! I even went back last winter for another pony tail for an event. Monika is truly the best and I’d have her do my hair everyday if I could!!!

The team at Salon Mario Russo executed my hair vision to a T for my wedding (as the bride). From the color, cut, and extensions I was very happy. We did multiple test runs of the wedding hair day as I was not happy with the first look - Sal worked with my to create exactly what I wanted in the end! As a bride who never gets her hair and make up done, I was very nervous about getting it done for my wedding day. I was concerned about wanting to look beautiful and special but feeling very naïve regarding how to do that and also really wanting to ensure I looked like myself. Mario Russo did an absolutely amazing job making me feel gorgeous and totally like myself on my wedding day.

For my make up, I worked with Tavi. He was absolutely wonderful and so incredibly responsive to my numerous questions and concerns. During my make-up trial and wedding day, he was very attentive to my description of what I wanted and did an absolutely fabulous job making me feel beautiful and special but totally myself. And he went above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable. Between the trial and wedding day, he met me at a department store to help me purchase touch-up make up and instruct me on application just in case. He is WONDERFUL – both his finished product and his personality – I can’t recommend him enough!

For my hair, I worked with Corey. I knew it was meant to be from the very second I started chatting with Corey. He was very attentive to my description of what I wanted and the style of my dress. His final creation surpassed my expectations. It was like he tapped into my psyche and did a beautiful hairstyle that was so me, so complementary to my dress, and something so similar to what I sometimes try to do myself. On my wedding day, Corey played an absolutely critical part of day. I was VERY nervous and he was the most calm and wonderful presence for me. He had me look out the window while we listened to Norah Jones and chatted. He helped SO much with my nerves; I couldn’t have been more grateful that I got to spend the morning before my wedding with him. And his final product was also absolutely gorgeous! To those considering Mario Russo, it’s a great choice and definitely request Tavi and Corey!

Corey is a pure delight and perfectionist. His attention to detail with the cut of the hair is unmatched. I didn't have a worry in the world about my hair because I knew it would look fantastic.
