We were referred to Intuition Events and Florals (Michelle) by a venue we didn't actually end up using, but I cannot say enough good things about her and her team. She completely brought my vision to life. I know nothing about flowers or event planning and just through a meeting with pictures and pinterest boards, she nailed it! Thanks to her, I didn't need to waste time or money buying a bunch of stuff to create table centerpieces. She has so much stuff you can rent and never have to worry about reselling or setting up! Two weeks before our wedding, our transportation company turned out to be a complete sham and wanted to cheat us out of what we agreed to, but Michelle saved the day! She made some calls and found us a much better company and we signed the contract and paid the deposit that same day. On the day of our wedding, she set up and broke EVERYTHING down, transported me and my small bridal party from our getting ready location to the venue, swooped in to put my veil back on when it fell off walking down the aisle, and probably a million other things I never saw or had to worry about thanks to her and her team. I cannot recommend Intuition Events and Florals enough!

Michelle was recommended to us by our venue; at first I thought I could do everything on my own, but decided to meet with Michelle to see what she could offer. After sitting down with Michelle and talking over my vision and ideas for our wedding day, I knew we couldn't do it without her!!
From managing all our vendors (some new to the wedding scene), to coordinating my colorful floral request, meeting the vision of my "garden wedding" and keeping our NINE ring bearers and flower girls organized! The decor was everything I could have imagined, the tables set perfectly and the barn covered in lights making the day magical.
Michelle kept the day moving and kept everything on time; everything was covered. I knew we were in good hands with her and her team and never had to worry. My husband and I were able to relax and have fun, which is exactly what we were looking for!!

My husband and I had a venue that was a bare bones barn. We had a lot of work to do to make it look wedding worthy. I shopped around and kept getting astronomical quotes. Everyone told me go check out price chopper so I did an I got a quote from them. Intuition was my last stop and I wish I had talked to Michelle sooner. Their prices were the most fair I had scene. Every idea I had she said "Yup we can do that!". When I emailed her just weeks before the wedding and said actually I do want a flower display at the alter, she said no problem! Our wedding was breath taking. She captured the fall authenticity while making the venue you fancy. She coordinated with my other vendors. She really didn't put anything on my shoulders. I was so impressed. Our flower display at the birch arbor alter is still talked about a family gatherings. Do not hesitate in hiring Michelle and Intuition events. They know exactly what their doing, they took our breaths away! The price posted included :All the various flour arrangements (decoration and for bridal party), lighting in a tree grove, ceiling fairy lights in the barn and wall lights, cake decoration, candles, lanterns, etc I am sure I am missing something.

I booked Michelle for "day of" coordination services for our wedding. She was completely accessible from the first time I contacted her, very responsive and flexible with choosing a time to meet. Unlike many wedding planners, her day of fee included access to her throughout my wedding planning process (many wedding planners actually charge an extra fee to contact them by phone or meet with them more than once if you are hiring them for day of services!) She was always got back to me right away through email if I had any questions, and I ended up using her for a lot of "extras" (rented vases, ceremony decorations/flowers, bouquets, etc.). All the flowers and decorations turned out beautiful and were very reasonable.

Now for the day of the wedding: it would absolutely not have been the same without Michelle. I am a classic Type A personality, and planned everything down to the very last detail, but things go wrong that you don't expect. Although we had a few things go awry with other vendors (the DJ we booked did not show up) Michelle was there every step of the way, putting us completely at ease and making sure the day continued to run smoothly.

To summarize- Michelle was amazing! Her services are the most you could possibly get for your money, and so worth it. My husband was skeptical about our need for a wedding planner in the first place, and all he could say the night of our wedding was "Thank God Michelle was here!!"

From helping us to plan our centerpieces and making all of the beautiful flower arrangements to hanging lights in the barn, Michelle came through with everything we needed. She helped to bring our vision to life while working in our budget. We also had Michelle on site to help on the wedding day, and her help was invaluable. She helped to wipe rain off of the chairs after a rainstorm happened right before our outdoor ceremony, bustled my dress, and ran around helping wherever and whoever she could. No matter what she was helping with, Michelle had a wonderful attitude and a smile on her face. She took off a lot of stress for me throughout the planning process and especially on our big day. I would highly recommend working with Michelle and her staff!

Michelle at Intuition Events was integral in making our Aug 2013 wedding at the Pruyn House a success. Working with her was wonderful and I would absolutely recommend her to all other brides in the Capital Region. She did the flowers, lighting, decor, and gave us help with the timeline of our day. By nature Michelle is friendly, upbeat, and easy to get along with, which was essential for my mom, husband, and I because planning a wedding was a very big & overwhelming process for us at times.

As soon as Michelle came into the picture, everything became a lot smoother, and we all started to feel like we would have a beautiful day because we trusted Michelle to make all of the loose ends work. Michelle was so friendly, easy to contact, and flexible when we came to her with crazy ideas. She is absolutely able to work with brides and grooms with all tastes and visions.

Ultimately, we had a wonderful day at the Pruyn House, and received so many compliments on the decor, the setup, and the flowers. Everything was exactly as we had described and hoped, and trusting Michelle to understand and execute our vision was absolutely the right choice. The flowers were beautiful -- we had discussed white wildflowers in very textured, wild arrangements, and Michelle completely understood and made beautiful arrangements. She accommodated all of our wishes, from using vases I collected from thrift stores, to putting tiny cat figurines on the center of tables, to arranging a station with family wedding photos and an instant camera for our guest book, to using banners I made and purchased, to making crowns of flowers for the bride & groom. She was also wonderful working with our other vendors, notably Diane at the Pruyn House, and Margaret at Nicole's Catering. I would absolutely recommend Michelle.

I have been lucky enough to know Michelle and her family personally for many years and I am so beyond honored that my new hubby & I were on the receiving end of her amazing talents for our wedding! Our floral arrangements were perfect and her ability to seamlessly integrate my vision with her professional eye was outstanding. It all came together so perfectly and I couldn’t be more grateful! Michelle did an INCREDIBLE job with the flowers for my wedding and was a pleasure to work with throughout the entire process.
