What to wear??
Wear comfortable clothing in which you can move, stretchy and breathable. Try to avoid job bras and opt for more feminine undergarments to wear. We do encourage you to simply bring your most comfortable beautiful self.
Shoes – Bare feet are great for all classes, but if you really want to get the moves down and get a great workout in your calves, thighs and bum go for the heels. We carry a line of shoes in our boutique that are appropriate for this class. They have ankle support and a wider heel. This style is recommended – we will not allow stilettos for safety reasons. As we said, these shoes are totally optional – feel free to go barefoot until you feel comfortable and work your muscles up to this level.
Please leave watches and jewelry at home, we want to keep the surfaces of our equipment at its best.
Please avoid wearing hand and body lotion on the day of the pole class. It will cause you to slip and slide off the pole!
For aerobics class, you will want to wear
Top – Any comfortable workout top is fine for the floor/chair class. But for the pole class you will need to have bare arms so any short sleeved top that is fitted but not too restrictive would be great.
Bottoms – This is the same as the top, any comfortable pair of pants or shorts is perfect for the floor/chair class. However, for the Level 2 pole class you may want bare legs to do some of the more elaborate spins. Shorts would be appropriate.
Shoes – Bare feet are great for all classes, but tennis shoes are encouraged for exercise.
Do I need to pre-register?
Yes, for Session or Workshops you are encouraged to Pre-Register or find out if space is available before the workshop or session begins. Waiting will result in a higher registration fee.
For walk-in exercise classes: No, you do not need to pre-register or reserve a spot for this class. Currently our classes are on a first-come-first-served basis. We do tend to get crowded during the classes that have a start time between 5:30pm and 7:30 pm and it is recommended that you arrive 10 minutes early for these classes. For pole exercises, walk-ins are welcome if there is an available pole.
Do I have to take the Introductory Class before I take any other classes?
No. The introductory class is designed for those people who are hesitant with the “exotic dance” theme. You do not have to take this class first, however it is the only free class that we offer.
Music
Fascination provides a wide variety of music to which you will slink and saunter and sweat to your hearts content. Music styles / selections will be discussed in class.
Studio Etiquette
Please turn off cell phones before entering the studio. Our Fascinating studio offers a much needed retreat from the demands of our daily lives. Classes begin on time. If you are late for your class, please leave your belongings in the lounge area and enter the class quietly. To prevent disruption of class and injury due to lack of proper warm-up, clients arriving 15 minutes late will be asked to schedule a make-up class for another time.
Missed Class Policy
If you must miss your regularly scheduled class, you will be allowed to reschedule up to two classes within the time frame of the session for which you are registered. Missed classes do not transfer from session to session. Cancellations must be called in 24 hours prior to class so that we may inform the Instructor. Classes are small and intimate and nurturing.
Refunds & Cancellations
Cancellations of an 8-week session is subject to cancellation fees. Once the scheduled class has commenced, a refund will not be granted, no exceptions.
