My husband and I are in love with the zebra bars they sell in the bakery at Josephs so we knew they had to make our wedding cake. The planning process was easy and pricing was very reasonable. We had a simple cake for 125 guests that was chocolate cake with buttercream frosting. Very simple but tasted fabulous. There are a lot of flavor and filling options to pick from if you want something more exotic or customized. To keep the cost under control we went with very simple decorating but the cake still looked stunning.

These folks were great to work with. I choose one of the more colorful three tier cakes. The frosting was purple, champaigne and green which were my colors. Doesn't sound great but i assure you it was beautiful. The cake was very detailed with different colors on different tiers. We also had a vanilla with raspberry on the bottom, chocolate grooms cake with mocha in the middle and a third small cake for the third tier which we are saving in the freezer for the year anniversary. This was also vanilla with raspberry filling. So good. The only problem that arose at the wedding, the cake came with nothing on the top. Since it was so long ago i guess we must have decided on hydrangeas for the top but I thought we were going with a ribbon of frosting.? Not sure how to resolve that but....it looked fine. just not how i thought it was going to be

Josephs Trattoria had a large variety of cakes to choose from. I chose a white cake with strawberry and chantilly cream filling with buttermilk frosting, and it was the most amazing cake i've ever tasted. i got a ton of compliments on it.

The cake was absolutely delicious and beautiful. My only complaint about this vendor was that they didnt remind me I needed a cake plate and didnt provide one. When I saw my cake it was on a tinfoil wrapped plate, which looked pretty cheesy, but it was too late at that point. They were already gone.
