The Bardot

I cannot get over how perfect everything was with hair and makeup the day of my wedding! I got married this August 2025 and came across the Bardot through my venue's list of preferred vendors. After searching for days for a good hair/makeup stylist that was responsive, I came across the Bardot and instantly loved their whole aesthetic. Their Instagram and website were easy to navigate and aesthetically pleasing. The best thing was how responsive they were via email and phone. They were very quick to respond and were easy to work with. I had to reschedule my hair trial after getting sick and gladly did so.

Ashley was my hair stylist for both my trial and day of she was the absolute best! Her personality is great as she made me feel comfortable and confident, even when I did not know what look I wanted. She is very good at what she does technically and personally she was very down to earth and comforting. She tried a few different styles, and the one I ended up doing for the day-of was one that she recommended we tried for fun at the end and I am so glad she did! It was perfect! I did not want something super manicured but wanted it up off my back since it was an August wedding and Ashley gave me the best wispy up do twist. When one of my bridesmaids was stressed about her hair type with the style she wanted, Ashley reassured her she could do it and make it look beautiful which she did! She made my bridesmaid feel so relieved and she ended up loving the look. Could not have asked for better!

Liz was my makeup artist and she absolutely KILLED it! I was so worried about my wedding makeup as I am not a huge glam person and never really love it when I have gotten my makeup done professionally in the past. That being said, she exceeded my expectations and I cannot say enough good things!! I wanted a soft natural glam that was glowy and heavy on blush and she did just that. She really took extra care with my makeup as the bride and I was so thankful because you could tell the time and energy put it into. The makeup held all day and she also provided me with a touch up kit to use to make it last even longer. Liz not only did beautiful makeup, but she also kept such a positive energy and continued to make me feel confident and stress free going into my wedding day. She also did a phenomenal job with the mother of the groom and bridesmaids-- everyone was so happy with how they looked! Again, I cannot put into words how happy I was with my makeup and how it made me feel! Incredibly grateful for the magic she created.

My mom (mother of the bride) was apprehensive about getting her makeup done having older skin and she was SO pleased with both her hair and makeup. My whole bridal party was happy with the way they looked and I could not be more grateful!

We also ran earlier than scheduled which helped the day feel much less stressful than anticipated. We were done early with time for touch ups and pictures before having to leave.

Pricing was fairly comparable to other companies for wedding party hair/makeup and included built-in gratuity which was nice not to have to pay it later.

Again, I was so beyond happy with The Bardot and the artists they provided! It was such a wonderful company to work with that really built women up and promoted confidence and comfort. I was so happy they were a huge part of our day!

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Helen and Emma! From the moment they arrived on the wedding day, they were warm, professional, and so incredibly talented. They really took the time to listen to what each member of the bridal party wanted, and their patience and attention to detail were truly appreciated by everyone.

I was especially nervous about my own makeup, since I’m not used to wearing very much and was worried the final look might feel overdone. But Emma completely nailed it—she created a look that was natural yet glamorous and made me feel like the most beautiful version of myself. I honestly felt like a radiant bride without feeling like I was wearing a mask.

Helen was equally amazing with hair—every style she created suited each person perfectly and held up beautifully throughout the day (and night!). She was so calm and efficient, which made the getting-ready process feel smooth and stress-free.

The Bardot team did an incredible job! They respected our hair and make up requests, and left our entire bridal party feeling confident and beautiful. We had a great time getting to know the whole team and loved our final looks. 10/10 recommend!

I cannot recommend Idalis and Emma from The Bardot enough!! They both did such an amazing job on hair and makeup for me and my wedding party.

From the very beginning, they made me feel so comfortable and really listened to what I wanted for hair and makeup. I did a trial about a year before (as I don’t live in the area) and she did such a great job that I knew I had to hire her. She also made me feel very comfortable about asking her to tweak little things to make it exactly what I envisioned.

They worked with me to make a timeline for myself and the 5 other women getting hair and makeup done, which made everything run very smoothly. They were at the venue on time and were very timely the whole day. They also had such a great energy and contributed to the fun and calm vibe that I wanted in the suite for the morning of my wedding.

They did such a beautiful job on hair and makeup for everyone and I highly recommend them! My hair and makeup stayed the entire night and same for my whole wedding party who started even earlier in the day.

Several of my bridal party and my mom even said they liked their hair/makeup more than they did at their own wedding!!

The Bardot team (Raleigh, NC) did an EXCELLENT job providing me with the best hair/makeup for my big day! All of my bridesmaids were so happy with their final look and couldn't stop raving about the team. Britnye and Liz had a fantastic vibe and kept the energy up throughout the morning. This really helped set the tone for the day, and I loved how they were ready to get the party started even at 7:30 AM. They were so open to anything I wanted to change from my trial and checked in with me throughout the entire process. They were even kind and flexible when I had to change the getting-ready site two weeks out from my wedding. I am so happy with how my look turned out in my final pictures, and I have nothing but great things to say about my experience. Additionally, they respond to emails very quickly and have great open communication. I would recommend this team to any of my friends or brides looking for a fantastic duo for hair/makeup

Firstly- Helen and Emma were an absolute pleasure to work with! They seamlessly integrated into our vibe and each of the ladies felt like they were receiving individualized care. Not only were they both professional and fun, but oh so talented! Everyone’s hair (Helen) and makeup (Emma) turned out better than all the inspo pictures we gave. Not only did we all look and feel amazing but we were not pressed for time at any moment, which on your wedding day is a miracle! Bardot as a company was so easy to schedule with and communicate with- Idalis was always pleasant and informative and answered all my questions with ease! Their downtown St. Augustine studio opened just in time for my trial and they have such an adorable spot there! It was so nice to have a place to go for the trial that was solely focused on my big day!

I am so happy I decided to go with the Bardot. When looking for hair and makeup on your wedding day it is a very scary chance you take on a company because you want everything to go perfect. These ladies were amazing!! Idalis, Allison, & Emma!!! You exceeded all expectations I had. These girls listened to exactly what I asked for & my girls asked for. I don’t wear a lot of makeup so I wanted a natural look & Emma delivered. She left me with some touch up makeup for throughout the day! Allison.. just wow all of the girls were loving their hair. & she was so sweet to do a little braid for my 2 year old flower girl. Idalis stepped in last minute when I didn’t want to start as early & did an amazing job on one of my bridesmaids and mother in law. I would recommended over and over. If you are in between deciding on a company, I promise you won’t regret going with The Bardot. Communication throughout was easy & this company is so accommodating & professional. They even traveled to my Airbnb, set up with their own chairs & left no mess! Simply the best!

Highly recommend this team! They did hair & makeup for one of my clients at The Reef in November. The bride absolutely loved her hair and makeup! They were very organized and communicative through the entire planning process! I hope to work with them again in the future!!

I worked with the bardot based in Raleigh and they were lovely to work with! We used a combo of some makeup and hair services. Lyndsay did my hair and did the best job EVER! I am still looking back at photos in awe!

Mary (make up) is the sweetest!! Steph (hair) is so much fun! The two of them together were so great and stress free! Britnye (the owner) was so easy to communicate with and made me feel super comfortable.

At my trial, I told Mary I didn’t have a skin care routine but would be open if she gave me very easy very specific directions. She did just that and I listen to her advice every day!

My party was so happy with both hair and make up looks! The listened to each of the girls and everyone looked stunning!! I highly recommend the Bardot and Mary and Steph!
