As a former divorce attorney turned marriage coach—and someone who’s personally experienced marriage, divorce, and remarriage—I’ve seen firsthand the patterns that lead couples to disconnect after saying “I do.”
More often than not, these challenges stem from not doing the deep, foundational work before the wedding—like getting clear on your values, understanding your emotional needs, defining fair and realistic roles, and learning how to communicate with honesty and respect.
