Could not have asked for a better venue. Alexa and the rest of the Linden Row Inn staff went above and beyond to help make our wedding perfect!

Fabulous venue! The Buyrns are very accommodating and the sunset view over the water was gorgeous. Plenty of parking. Signs for directions on where to go and where to park were very well placed. The historical house and buildings are a great backdrop for photos, as well as the waterfront. The Oyster House was the biggest "WOW" for me. It was set up beautifully for our buffet style dinner. It's a neat old building, rich with character, and architecturally quite interesting; a step back in time. I definitely recommend Eyreville as a venue if you are looking for people that will help decrease the stress of putting together a gathering and go above board to see that your time there is exceptional. They go that extra mile with grace and pleasure. As a side note, the caterers really liked working at Eyreville. Running water in a big sink, a refrigerator onsite, easy access to electrical outlets and a lovely view, made them quite happy with the venue. I lost track of how many times guests commented on the beauty that makes Eyreville stand out as a venue. We could not have asked for gotten a more perfect place for the reception. Many thanks to the Buyrns for helping us make a special day even more special.

July the 18th was our big day. I cannot express how great our experience was at The American Hotel. Michelle Annese (venue manager), and her assistant went above and beyond. I could write a whole page of details on how she put her heart into making sure my day was magical and stress-free. With weddings being stressful enough, then we added Covid-19 into the mix. Many precautions were in place and Michelle even sanitized the bathrooms on a 20 minute cycle on top of everything else she did. Another plus is the charm of this venue allows minimal decorations as well. Best prices in comparison to any venue around our area. Again another bonus... the location of this building allows for beautiful photos at our local train station dock and bridge. I also want to mention the owner Margaret, although there was never a face to face due to her living location, she was very kind in our email conversations. There was no problem when we had to cancel our orginally date and reschedule due to the pandemic. No regrets on our choice, 100 percent satisfied!!!

This venue fit all my needs as a bride. It was the first venue me and my husband looked at. And we stuck with it. The owners are so nice and always responsive to any questions. The venue was just so stunning and it was the perfect space for my ceremony and reception. They were so easy to work with as well. And the best part is they have a plan if it rains on your wedding day. It rained on mine and we just moved it inside the barn. But what made it nice was you could still have it outside some because they have a covered patio it was the best!! And truthfully it made it so intimate. Highly recommend this venue!!!

Amber Grove is an incredible wedding venue that is staffed with incredible people! John and Kristina were wonderful in making sure every aspect of our wedding from the first venue tour to the last minute of our reception went smoothly. We did not have to worry about a single thing and any questions we had they always had a response. They clearly care so much about the couples they have at their venue- down to providing us a gift at the end of the wedding along with leftovers for the next day! We had so many compliments from people about the venue and how they wish they had heard of Amber Grove for their wedding. On top of everything that John and Kristina did for us, the chef was just as amazing. He spent time talking to friends and family at the rehearsal dinner, provided coffee to us the morning of the wedding, and delivered incredible plate after incredible plate. We would recommend this wedding venue to everyone.

We booked the venue and home for our wedding on March 29, 2025. The venue was outshined only by me and maybe our pork belly bites and mushroom appetizers. The venue is gorgeous on it's own with minimal decorations needed, however, you are more than welcomed to let your personality shine. Being able to have Rodney carry us on the golf cart back to the house after the wedding to hit the hot tub was a highlight of the day. Guildford Farm is a family affair with the many warm and inviting family members available to help. The mom, Jeannie, stopped by to gift us a bottle of wine and card. You really should stay in the house (we also added days - highly recommend) with friends or family. It makes getting ready and the time spent so much rewarding. I am still jealous my now husband was able to go on a hike, hit the hot tub, shower, and play pool without leaving the property all whilst I was getting hair and make up done on our wedding day. I don't think I could have imagined a more perfect day or wedding weekend and Guildford Farm was a big part of that.

I honestly cannot say enough positive things about the Inn at Blackstone as a venue and the staff behind the scenes. From our initial email to the last box loaded up on Sunday morning after the wedding, The Inn at Blackstone was phenomenal to work with. They demonstrated qualities such as communication, attention to detail, kindness, humor, and more. Throughout the planning process, they never stressed us out. We always knew where we stood, and if we had a question, they were just a phone call or email away with the QUICKEST answer time I’ve ever seen. We got married in August of 2025, and even all these months later, everyone compliments how cool our venue was (especially the fact that you could go right upstairs to your room after all the drinks we served). We chose the wedding weekend package that included the rehearsal dinner, welcome party, and wedding at one location. Our wedding was an absolute dream thanks to the venue and staff at The Inn at Blackstone.

We couldn't have asked for a more stunning and seamless experience than what we had at Mountain Lake Lodge. From the moment we visited, we knew it was the perfect place for our wedding day. The venue is absolutely breathtaking, with a gorgeous landscape and a warm, homey feel that created the ideal backdrop for both our ceremony and reception. The attention to detail is extraordinary—every corner of the venue feels like it’s been thoughtfully crafted to make your event unforgettable. Whether it was the beautiful outdoor spaces with sweeping views or the charming indoor areas, Mountain Lake Lodge offered the perfect blend of natural beauty and comfort. We were blown away by how smoothly everything went, thanks to Lyndsi and the rest of the catering and events teams who went above and beyond to ensure our day was flawless. They were professional, accommodating, and genuinely invested in making our wedding day as special as possible. We couldn't be happier with our choice of venue, and we’re so thankful to Mountain Lake Lodge for helping us create memories that will last a lifetime. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a magical and unforgettable wedding experience!

This is an unbelievable space close to the North Suffolk, Virginia river ways with quick access, new amenities, and easy parking. The event was perfect and the guests enjoyed every moment.

We recently celebrated our wedding at Inn at Willow Grove, and it was truly everything we dreamed of and more. From start to finish every detail was handled with such care by Catherine, Lisa, and their entire crew, making the experience seamless and stress-free. The property itself is absolutely stunning. Its elegant, peaceful, and perfectly suited for such a special occasion. The accommodations were top-notch, and our guests couldn't stop talking about how beautiful and comfortable everything was. What truly set this experience apart was the staff. Every single person we encountered was kind, attentive, and genuinely invested in making our day perfect. The service was exceptional, and it felt like they anticipated our needs before we even had to ask. The food was incredible as well! The striploin and chicken dishes were cooked to perfection and you HAVE to try their brunch French toast brick. Every detail came together flawlessly and we could not have asked for a more perfect place to start this new chapter. If you are considering the Inn at Willow Grove for your wedding or special event, I cannot recommend it highly enough!
