Our climate-controlled hall features 6 large glass overhead doors that open up to a spacious wrap-around covered porch, providing you and your guests an outdoor experience with the comforts of an indoor feel. Our bridal suite with private restroom is the perfect setting to get ready, and our groom room with a large screen TV and gaming system will keep him relaxed and entertained. The bridal suite and groom room both have reserved parking beside a private entrance, and they each have a seating area on the porch for relaxing before the big event. The vaulted ceilings and stylish chandeliers combine a casual elegance with a modern sophistication that you and your guests will love. Our all white interior with an abundance of natural light will have your photographer swooning.

We love New Branch Farms!
New Branch Farms was the perfect venue for our wedding! It beautifully blends country charm with elegant touches, and the white barn is absolutely stunning—no detail was overlooked in its design. The expansive open field provided a breathtaking backdrop for our ceremony, and the main reception hall was spacious and versatile, accommodating various floorplans.
The venue is thoughtfully equipped, from the comfortable bridal suite to the groom’s suite, complete with video games and a lounge area. The kitchen had everything our caterers needed, and the patio was a gorgeous setting for cocktail hour.
Wendy and Sam were incredible to work with, treating us like family and going above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. We highly recommend New Branch Farms for weddings and events—you’ll feel right at home in this beautiful space!

The Perfect Day!
New Branch was a dream to work with, a dream to get ready in, and an absolute DREAM to get married in. Can’t recommend this venue more. It’s a beautiful place & the owners (Sam & Wendy) have thought of everything to make the day perfect. The only thing I’m sad about is that it’s over!

The Best Wedding Decision You Can Make
If you want to find a beautiful wedding venue and work with amazing people, you shouldn't waste another second and book at New Branch Farms! Sam and Wendy are incredibly generous people who were very helpful and responsive throughout the entire planning process. They thought of every detail in creating the perfect wedding venue - beautiful scenery for the ceremony and pictures, a simply elegant and accommodating reception area that's easy to flip in case of weather (so you don't have to lose sleep hoping it doesn't rain on your special day), a beautiful wrap-around porch for pictures and hanging out, an awesome cocktail hour area that makes for a great hang-out spot for guests wishing to take a break from dancing and catch-up with people, super cool bridal and groom suites with lots of natural lighting, and a kitchen that your catering team will absolutely love. Our wedding day was nothing but perfect and we have Sam and Wendy to thank!!

Amazing Venue & Owners!!
Sam & Wendy really did put their heart and soul into New Branch Farms and it shows. They are genuinely just good people & great to work with. The venue is laid out beautifully & they continue to add to it and make it even more amazing. They are so organized and help you through the whole planning process. Even on our wedding day, they were there helping with everything from moving tables to laying out our silverware with our day of coordinator. We also stayed at the air b&b on site and that was a such a blessing because we had our adult children as our wedding party, we all went to the house at the end of the night, I didn’t have to worry about anyone being to tired or drinking too much to drive. I can’t imagine having our wedding anywhere else, absolutely recommend New Branch!

Our Wedding Day!
Wow! Where do we even begin! This venue is absolutely AMAZING! This venue felt like a home away from home. Wendy & Sam did our engagement pictures, they turned out so beautiful! Took their time on everything! We had our wedding here Thursday October 5, 2023 and all of our guests loved it! Not just how beautiful the venue itself is, how nice the layout and entire build! But the love is here! This venue takes you in and makes you family forever! Everything we needed, little or small it was all taken care of. Wendy isn’t just a photographer, she’s family! She is peace and love! Sam helped so much and comforted me right before I walked down the aisle. This experience was so lovely and they did it with so much grace! Our entire family and vendors had SO MUCH great things to say about this place! Everything was perfect and we couldn’t have asked for a better wedding day! If you’re searching for a wedding/event venue PLEASE check New Branch Farms out! We can not recommend them enough! We look forward to our future family events being here! Wendy & Sam, THANK YOU!

love, love, love the whole NBF family!
As many others have said before, Wendy and Sam are the most amazing people and I couldn't be happier that my husband and I chose to get married at New Branch Farms. When we toured, the facility was not yet complete but we could see the vision they had for the indoor and outdoor spaces. Furthermore, we also could see the passion Wendy and Sam have for New Branch Farms, and that ultimately is what made our decision so easy.
They were communicative throughout the entire process, never making me feel like a burden when I had silly little questions as I was planning. Every single detail of New Branch Farms is well-thought out and beautiful. Our wedding day was hands down the best day of my life, and I am endlessly grateful to Wendy and Sam for their pivotal role in making it great.
As an added bonus- it was so fun to have Wendy as our photographer. We were able to get to know her and spend time with her leading up to the wedding day. She made us feel at ease and actually helped my photo-hating husband enjoy the process!
Thank you so much to Wendy and Sam for creating the perfect wedding venue at New Branch Farms! I cannot recommend them enough!

Absolutely amazing!!! 10/10
New Branch Farms in Smithfield, Virginia, is absolutely where you want to have your wedding. From the very first time I met Wendy and Sam they were so kind and answered any of my questions with ease. They made me feel comfortable during this hard decision. Turns out it wasn't that hard of a decision after all! After meeting them and seeing the venue, I quickly knew this is where I wanted to get married. I truly can’t recommend it enough. Great location, beautiful inside area, stunning outside areas for the ceremony, cocktail hour and pictures, plenty of parking, beautiful view of the trees. It was my dream venue and I’m in love with it. Wendy and Sam were amazing and was so helpful the entire way through. They also work with a lot of great vendors that they recommend to you. Any time I texted Wendy with a question she was very quick to respond despite being so busy. She really made me feel important. I loved that we chose New Branch Farms, 100/10!

Absolute Perfection.
My husband and I visited New Branch Farms in the early stages of our planning while the space was still studs and beams. From the first moment we toured and met Sam & Wendy, we instantly knew this was it. They are the most genuine people and truly made our dreams come true. This past Saturday our vision came to life and we had the best day of our lives in the venue of our dreams. All of our guests complimented the natural lighting, the chandeliers, and just overall how beautiful it was there. We hosted our ceremony indoors while it rained outside and were still able to keep the garage doors open which added to the list of “wow” factors. After the ceremony, we did a brief room flip and had the perfect dance floor space for the reception. I would recommend New Branch a thousand times to anyone looking. Thank you Sam & Wendy!

A million stars!
The owners of New Branch Farms will do everything in their power to make sure your day is as special as your dreamed. They have been family friends for years and when I heard they were building a venue I knew I wanted to get married there. When I booked the venue they had not even broken ground yet. A little under a year I was walking into the barn in my dress tears streaming down my face from pure bliss. They are truly an amazing couple to work with and will help in any way they can. The venue is beautiful for any type of event! Wendy thought of everything when doing the little touches, they even have TVs to play your engagement photos on!
If I could I would give them a million star review but this only lets me do 5 stars! If you are looking for an amazing venue, wonderful people to work with and a day you won't forget go with New Branch Farms.
