Hotel Wedding Venues in Hampton Roads

When shopping around for venues, my husband and I were looking for a classic, ballroom feel. We thought The Main was the perfect fit for our goal aesthetic. After meeting with Matthew Crowe for the first time, we knew we were in good hands. His passion for his job shines through and his creativity and talent is clear!! He helped us establish our vision for the wedding cocktail hour and reception, guiding us along the way and making us feel comfortable whenever we had requests or questions. He communicated quickly and efficiently, and was extremely hands on. I can't describe how impressed we were!! At our wedding reception, Matthew was there every step of the way lending a helping hand and supervising operations. Using The Main as our wedding cocktail hour and reception venue was the best decision we could've made! The hotel staff and our room block coordinators were fantastic as well. We highly recommend using The Main for your wedding or any special event.

Our daughter's dream wedding was held at the Williamsburg Inn. From the moment she stepped onto the grounds she knew it was the perfect setting for her wedding. The venue is stunning, timeless historic and beautifully maintained, offering countless stunning photo opportunities. We cannot recommend, Yuani Valentine, Weddings and Special Events Coordinator, highly enough! Yuani's knowledge of the venue, attention to detail, and prompt responses made everything seamless. Lindsay Codekas, Manager of the Floral Studio at the Williamsburg Inn, created stunning bouquets and centerpieces. From start to finish, the food exceeded all expectations--beautifully presented, flavorful, and perfectly timed. The wedding cake was a showstopper. The pastry chef worked with us to customized flavors and fillings. It looked stunning and tasted even better. The combination of the Williamsburg Inn's breathtaking ambiance and Yuani's exceptional expertise created a celebration that was both sophisticated and deeply personal. We cannot recommend this venue highly enough for couples seeking a wedding experience defined by elegance, impeccable service and unforgettable memories.

From start to finish nothing but professionalism, open communication and flexibility. Danielle started us off and then Nikki took over they both are beautiful women with beautiful souls. We were supposed to have an outside wedding, the rain said no. They worked with us through the financial and emotional hurdles. We appreciate them and the serving staff for the reception. Also the restaurant did a great job for the rehearsal dinner.

We’re very pleased with how accommodating Dawn and the venue were. We had several questions almost daily leading up to the big day and the response time was quick. Not only have our guests complimented us on how beautiful the wedding was but strangers have reached out via social media to inquire about the beautiful venue.

If you are looking for the best venue to host your Suffolk wedding, you found it! I am a professional DJ and I work a few wedding events here every year and already have some lined up for next year. Before this year is over, I wanted to take the time and share with all review readers how grateful I am for the opportunity to be able to collaborate with such a great venue and the talented team that makes magic happen every time I am there. They communicate well with vendors, everything is always clean and looks amazing, and the layout options are awesome. The riverfront is the icing on top of the cake, I love when we get to do ceremonies out there. They surely go above and beyond for their clients to have the best time ever. From the very beginning, the communication from Country Villa Weddings & Events was outstanding. They answered every question we had — no matter the hour — and were incredibly patient with a sleep-deprived RN trying to plan a wedding in under six months. Their kindness, prompt responses, and willingness to guide us through every detail made the entire planning process feel so much lighter. When our wedding day arrived, it was nothing short of magical. The on-site team went above and beyond to make everything run smoothly. They directed guests to parking, ensured everyone felt welcomed, and flawlessly transitioned the ceremony space into our reception setup. As the bride, I never heard of a single issue — and that peace of mind on a wedding day is priceless. The venue is absolutely stunning, and our guests could not stop talking about how beautiful and breathtaking it was. Having a late fall wedding helped to show off how beautiful all the lights posted through out the area made the night look magical. The endless area to take photos with the photographer and guests made for great variations in photos. The only small downside was that we had been told the staff would assist with bussing tables throughout the evening, which unfortunately did not happen. It didn’t take away from our joy, but it’s worth mentioning for future couples. Overall, Country Villa gave us an unforgettable wedding day. Their communication, professionalism, and seamless coordination made our celebration everything we dreamed of. We would happily recommend this venue to any couple looking for a stress-free, elegant, and thoughtfully supported wedding experience.

Danielle was the coordinator for my daughter’s wedding. She was very good about answering my questions promptly and going over all the details. That was a big help in easing the stress of planning the wedding! You can tell she loves helping people. I would recommend her to others looking to plan a wedding at Kingsmill!

We toured many venues in the area but I wasn't happy with them. Then we toured the Hilton and it was perfect. Emily was a joy to work with and even went above and beyond to keep the city from having a concert outside the venue on our wedding weekend. The view is unbelievable. We really enjoyed having a full conference room for the groomsmen and the corner room so the bridal party could get ready with views of the ocean and Neptune.

The Founders Inn was the most spectacular place to host our wedding! It offered the perfect setting for our guests to enjoy a weekend away with us, creating so many opportunities to spend quality time together. The grounds are absolutely breathtaking, the food was delicious, and the staff went above and beyond to help with every detail to make our day truly special. We couldn’t have imagined a more beautiful or accommodating venue for our celebration!
