Two Rivers Country Club on the James and Chickahominy Rivers is a special place to have a wedding. I have never worked with any Event staff anywhere that would top this place. Their professionalism, enthusiasm, attention to detail is unsurpassed! This includes the waitstaff and all involved. And the food - the chef and his staff serve an outstanding meal - especially the famous crab cakes which are a signature dish and the best on the eastern seaboard, and I'm sure beyond, and that includes Maryland! You won't find a better venue anywhere.

We truly cannot say enough wonderful things about Kiln Creek Resort and Golf Club and the incredible experience they gave us for our wedding! From beginning to end, everything was absolutely amazing, and our wedding day turned out even better than we could have imagined. A huge part of that was our coordinator, Danielle. She was phenomenal throughout the entire process. She was organized, responsive, patient, and genuinely cared about making sure our day was exactly what we wanted. Wedding planning can be overwhelming, but Danielle made everything feel so much easier. On the wedding day, she made sure everything ran smoothly and allowed us to simply enjoy the moment without worrying about all of the little details happening behind the scenes. The venue itself was beautiful, the staff was incredibly kind and accommodating, and everything came together perfectly. Our guests had such wonderful things to say about the venue, the food, and the overall experience. We are so grateful to Danielle and the entire Kiln Creek team for making one of the most important days of our lives so special. We felt genuinely taken care of throughout the entire experience, and we couldn't have asked for a better place to celebrate our wedding. If you're considering Kiln Creek Resort and Golf Club for your wedding, we cannot recommend them enough. And if you have the opportunity to work with Danielle, you are in the BEST hands! Thank you for giving us a wedding day we will always remember. ❤️

There are not enough words in the English language to express how amazing Bay Creek is! Every step of the way they were so amazingly communicative, accommodating, and made everything literally so easy. Baileigh, the Bay Creek event coordinator, is an angel on this earth and so incredibly good at her job. Despite unexpected weather, her and her team made everything go so smoothly. The setting is so gorgeous, the food and drinks were amazing, and the team of people there are top tier. I do not think there is a wedding venue out there that is more accommodating and lovely to work with, I couldn’t recommend this venue more!

They’d soooo much I can say about James River Country Club 10 out of 10 definitely recommend we pick the spot because of the breathtaking view of a private beach that they have and then the inside is just a incredible as the outside it gives very elegant vibes and then the food TOP Notch I’m not a mushroom person but that mushroom ravioli, oh my God, best freaking thing I’ve had on top of all their other great choices of food that we picked for our dinner we had some of the best staff from Jo,Kristen,Rick and Conrad thanks for making my vision come to life

My daughter was thrilled to have her "fairy tale" wedding. Her ceremony was at a historic church in the area and the reception at Colonial Heritage. Working with the CH team was a great experience. My daughter lives in Italy and we now live in Ohio, so long distance planning required excellent communication and coordination on the part of CH staff. Corey and Cathy are knowledgable event planners and offered excellent suggestions. We did have a timing mishap the morning of the wedding that, in the moment, seemed like a big deal. Corey handled the matter promptly and professionally and it quickly became a non-issue. Excellent customer service! Corey is high energy and personable and helped us keep things on track during the ceremony. If we still lived in Williamsburg, I would consider CH for other events - they have lovely party rooms that would be great for a family reunion or anniversary party.

The space and the staff were fabulous! Such a pretty venue! Even in November!

While looking for a venue this was the first one we viewed. The ambiance was amazing and the food was delicious! The event coordinator and staff made sure that we had little to nothing to worry about. The renovations made it more beautiful and I loved at how they accomodated my disabled brother. Our haven't stopped talking about how beautiful it looked and how friendly the satff were. The best part was even though they still had the club opened to members there wasn't any interference with the members and our wet. We had the time of our lives and we HIGHLY RECOMMEND this club!!!

Venue is located on a private golf club. The ceremony area is out a peninsula with spectacular views of the Nansemond River. Clubhouse is newly renovated and can accommodate any size event. Amy is the event coordinator/manager and will be with you every step of your wedding process. You will be in good hands!

We had the best wedding at Manor, and the building is absolutely beautiful with recent renovations! The chef, David, cooked incredible food that all the guests and ourselves loved, everything was perfect! Bobbi was also wonderful to work with and the staff was so helpful with anything we needed on our special day! Highly recommend this venue!

As a fellow wedding vendor, we wanted to take a moment to praise Lane for how well she does her job planning/coordinating. She made our jobs as photographers so much easier on the wedding day and she was so integral to the success of the day. We loved working with her and hope to work with her again in the future!
