Located in beautiful Williamsburg, Virginia, Two Rivers Country Club at Governor's Land offers an exceptional waterfront setting where the James and Chickahominy Rivers meet.
Our venue combines the natural beauty of the Virginia waterfront with the sophistication of a newly renovated clubhouse, creating a memorable setting for ceremonies, receptions, and wedding celebrations.

Magical and Extraordinary Wedding Venue with Spectacular River and Sunset Views
MJ & Byron's Perfect Wedding
MJ and I have been long-time members of Two Rivers CC, we met after our spouses sadly passed away. Our relationship struck a chord to say the least and we decided to get married and have "the wedding that neither of us ever had" at our Club! With the indispensable help of our wedding planner, Jess Akinen, the staff at TRCC: Victoria, Luis, Rachel and all of their support team, planned and put on a perfectly executed event on a beautiful day for nearly 200 of our closest friends.
Luis and Victoria helped us craft the best and most appropriate selections of hors d' oeuvres, main entrees, and wines that every guest (as well as we did) absolutely raved about. They made it easy for us, they know what people like and don’t like at weddings! And their price was right in line with what one would expect at a first rate (really top of the line) venue like Two Rivers CC.
I also can't say enough about how they and Jess stepped up to handle all coordination with our event vendors: photographer, florist (Blessing and Blooms was awesome!), baker, and BAND. Brett Cahoon of Good Shot Judy was the perfect MC and entertainer. Over half of our crowd (primarily retirees), stayed until the last dance and enjoyed every minute of GSJ's music.
Not only did the weather cooperate, but the wedding and reception were absolutely perfect. Thank you, Jessica, Luis, Victoria, Rachel, your entire service staff for making our day fabulous. I can't recommend TRCC for your event highly enough!

Great Experience for Wedding!
Simply Amazing!
But the best part about Two Rivers is the event coordinator Jamie. This elopement is the second wedding we've planned (the first one never happened due to Covid). After the horror of our first wedding coordinator at a different venue, Jamie was a breath of fresh air, a Godsend, an angel, . Even though our wedding was just a tiny elopement, she treated us as though we were important. She was super communicative and always on top of every single line item.
On the day of, Jamie corseted my dress, tied my hair ribbon, boosted my confidence by telling me my makeup (which I did myself) looked beautiful, managed the vendors, moved the setup around in response to high winds, oversaw our dinner, etc. She literally did EVERYTHING. We were amazed just watching her be here, there, and everywhere, making sure everything was just right. She deserves every accolade. We can unreservedly recommend Two Rivers and Jamie for your big day.

Two Rivers Country Club is one of the MOST BEAUTIFUL facilities in Williamsburg! Jennifer Walton and her staff take great care of their customers! It is one of my FAVORITE places to work, mostly because of WHO I get to work with and the fantastic environment I get to work in. If you are planning a Williamsburg wedding, you need to check out Two Rivers Country Club. You can have your ceremony outside by the river on the plush greens and then rock the night away inside their window filled ballroom. You will be blown away by the gorgeous views, the delicious food and the even better service!
