Our daughter's dream wedding was held at the Williamsburg Inn. From the moment she stepped onto the grounds she knew it was the perfect setting for her wedding. The venue is stunning, timeless historic and beautifully maintained, offering countless stunning photo opportunities. We cannot recommend, Yuani Valentine, Weddings and Special Events Coordinator, highly enough! Yuani's knowledge of the venue, attention to detail, and prompt responses made everything seamless. Lindsay Codekas, Manager of the Floral Studio at the Williamsburg Inn, created stunning bouquets and centerpieces. From start to finish, the food exceeded all expectations--beautifully presented, flavorful, and perfectly timed. The wedding cake was a showstopper. The pastry chef worked with us to customized flavors and fillings. It looked stunning and tasted even better. The combination of the Williamsburg Inn's breathtaking ambiance and Yuani's exceptional expertise created a celebration that was both sophisticated and deeply personal. We cannot recommend this venue highly enough for couples seeking a wedding experience defined by elegance, impeccable service and unforgettable memories.

I had been in contact with Victoria and from the start the communication was on point. The professionalism and integrity of the establishment was amazing. They truly are the great people who have the best intentions.

We have loved the Williamsburg Winery since visiting for tastings in college, and we knew it was exactly where we wanted to get married! And it did not disappoint! We loved working with Leah, the wedding coordinator, who was happy to put up with the millions of questions we had for her, and offered lots of helpful suggestions to bring our vision to life. We also loved that catering was included as part of the wedding package; it made the process so much easier! We also took advantage of the hotel on the property, Wedmore Place, by staying there throughout the wedding weekend. Most of the bridal party and several guests also chose to stay there, and we got ready at the hotel as well. On the day of, Wessex Hall was the perfect backdrop for our vows. We love the ambiance created by all the gorgeous wood in the room, the lights and drapes on the ceiling, the fireplace we used as the alter, and wine barrels accenting the space. We were equally happy with the room once it was transformed into the reception area! Possibly our favorite feature of the venue is the wine cellar, where we were able to share our private last dance with our photographer and videographer in tow! Overall, our wedding at the Williamsburg Winery was everything we hoped it would be!

To preface this, I want to mention that I worked in the events industry for 9 years at a very busy venue, on top of having spent over a decade in the theatre. So when I went into the wedding planning process 18 months before my wedding I had VERY specific ideas of what I was looking for and for the people I wanted involved. Ford's Colony met and exceeded those expectations by a mile. Kristen was warm and very detail oriented, and we clicked right away as I began the planning process with them. Then I met Natalie and WOW! She takes what she does seriously, pays SO much attention to every detail and genuinely cares about her clients. She also knows all the best spots to take the photographers too! The food was delicious, the bartenders friendly and poured a good drink, and all of the staff were inviting, kind, professional and helpful beyond measure. Given that this was a same-sex wedding, it was also very important to me to find a venue that was open minded and drama-free. Not once did I ever feel I got a sideways glance or odd look from anyone at Ford's Colony. The entire staff of the venue couldn't have been kinder, even when we over-ran their bar for pictures before they opened! No wedding is complete without its share of minor heart stopping moments, and ours was no different. But Natalie and Ford's Colony were professionalism itself from start to finish and never said "Oh no!" The only response to ANYTHING from them was "Ok, and this is what we are going to do." When I saw Natalie PERSONALLY trying to resew and fix the zipper on the DJ's dress after it broke before the ceremony I was floored, and KNEW I had chosen the right place. Many venues are beautiful, have amazing food, quality staff and a great feel. ONLY Ford's Colony and Natalie can and will deliver that, but SO much more. They have heart and passion for both what they do and the people they work with as well as their clients.

Working with the team at Colonial Heritage was such a pleasure! Corey and his team are kind, flexible, organized, and helped us implement our wedding day vision perfectly! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

Danielle was the coordinator for my daughter’s wedding. She was very good about answering my questions promptly and going over all the details. That was a big help in easing the stress of planning the wedding! You can tell she loves helping people. I would recommend her to others looking to plan a wedding at Kingsmill!

This is a relatively small church, though beautiful, so my only warning is that there is not much room to just hang out before the ceremony. There is also a preservation fee, since this is now the National Shrine of Our Lady of Walsingham. It was a wonderful place for our wedding, and we highly recommend it. It is a Catholic church, and so it is unlikely that non-catholic weddings will be allowed. It may be possible to have the reception there as well, but we did not.

I can't thank Laura Reeves and the entire staff of the Williamsburg Manor enough for all they did to make our wedding so special!!! We had a lot of trouble with our wedding planning-- our planner went AWOL, our original venue (and its associated vendors) had to close due to covid, and I was so close to just giving up... But then I saw this beautiful B&B that a friend had raved about, and when I went to visit Laura I felt so relieved. She is a PRO who knows how to plan and execute a wedding like no one else! She coordinated catering, rentals, and had the venue itself perfectly ready to go for our big day. After cancelling our "original" wedding plan I was exhausted. Laura stepped in and made everything so easy for me. She basically became my wedding planner and coordinated a LOT of our wedding-- while still offering unique touches to make our wedding special to us. The Manor itself is exceptional. The rooms are beautiful and authentic Williamsburg style-- but still comfortable! It was so clean and perfectly kept by Stephanie. And the breakfast each morning was SO GOOD, the chef Maggie is amazing!!!! On the day of the wedding it was dumping down rain, and before I could start to panic, Laura said "don't worry, I've done this before" and she sprang into action with a "rain plan". I didn't have to lift a finger, and the end result was a beautiful (dry!) wedding ceremony and reception. This was definitely not the wedding I had planned or envisioned in early 2020. It was BETTER! In the end, I am so thankful that our original venue cancelled, because the Williamsburg Manor was absolutely perfect and I could not imagine celebrating anywhere else. And I am so thankful to Laura and her staff for all their help and kindness. They made our whole weekend (and our wedding) truly wonderful.

I worked with a few different people over the course of the past few years planning our big day. Jamie was the most recent she was very responsive to emails and messages. The team pulled all my vision together and helped me through the road bumps. Which there was many! The banquet manager was the sweetest and the bartender had the best personality! My 13 year old went to get his own money to tip him he was that good!
