It’s 52 days later and we (and our guests) are still absolutely gushing over our outdoor, tented reception in the Renaissance Rose Court location at the Norfolk Botanical Gardens; it was the perfect venue for our wedding! Between their phenomenal staff and stunning views, they had it all! We could not have asked for better! They truly make you feel like VIPs throughout the entire process, from beginning to end. During our initial tour of the venue, the NBG team emphasized that they were always happy to answer any email or call that we sent their way (and boy did they mean it), so we knew we were in good hands the day of the wedding! Their level of communication is impeccable and I promise you will be left feeling like they will do anything to help you achieve your perfect wedding day! The NBG team are not only masters in problem solving, but they are also true professionals. They maintained a friendly and approachable demeanor, and helped all our vendors work together to make every small detail look perfect. The NBG team provided many different ideas and suggestions to make sure we could bring our vision to life in the best and most efficient way possible. They asked an abundance of great questions throughout the process to get a feel for what were our absolute “must haves” and even suggested some things we hadn’t thought of. We hosted our ceremony on the brick in front of the fountain at the Renaissance Rose Court location, cocktail hour at the Statuary Vista location, and then the reception was under a dreamy twinkle light tent on the first grassy tier at the Renaissance Rose Court location. Guests were in awe of the view (and we also lucked out with absolutely perfect, albeit slightly hot, weather)! They were also true champions (and professionals) to help our other vendors set up and break down through our outdoor wedding, on July 12th, in Virginia! Working with the staff at the Norfolk Botanical Garden has been an absolute pleasure from first contact until the end of the wedding day (and the next day when we stopped by to pick up a few forgotten items). Their exceptional talent, professionalism, and dedication to their craft makes them a stand out choice in the world of wedding venues! We could not recommend the Norfolk Botanical Gardens enough, and can’t wait to return to celebrate future life moments! Im so grateful we came across this hidden gem of a venue. We were about to just plan an elopement but we came across The Martin Mansion and decided to pay a visit. After instantly falling in love, we paid our deposit that night. We did the show up and enjoy package and our wedding was absolutely magical!! Jen was amazing to work with and she put in a lot of effort to make sure our special day was tailored to us, even with it being an all inclusive package. The value of the package is incredible and I don’t believe there’s anything similar in that price range in the area. The venue itself is gorgeous and so well kept. We are still on cloud nine from our wedding this weekend! I highly recommend The Martin Mansion as a wedding venue!

The Hermitage is breathtakingly beautiful and was the perfect backdrop for our special day! This venue allowed us to really personalize our event, compared to other venues we visited, allowing us to take utilize the full extent of the grounds for every step of our wedding (and a scavenger hunt!) And of course, the pictures were beautiful!

We couldn’t have asked for a better venue to have our wedding at! The views are incredible being on the water and the inside is very spacious. The staff was also very nice nice! Our guests raved about how great everyone who worked at the venue was. We would highly recommend the harbor club for any occasion!

The Norfolk Hilton Staff was GREAT. We had our reception here on May 28, 2011 and at the time there was another reception going on next door and the Hilton had staff out to ensure our guest did not get mixed up. The food was wonderful, everyone was helpfully even down to the front desk staff. I would and will be recommending the Hilton to others.

My husband and I have been visiting the Chrysler Museum for years. We had one of our first dates there and we’ve had the opportunity to visit with friends and family numerous times. On a given weekend day, if we’re in Norfolk with no set plans, we drop in to see the different permanent and temporary exhibitions. This is our spot; so it was the perfect setting for our marriage celebration. Huber Court is a beautiful ceremony and reception location, and the Ancient Worlds and Porcelain Galleries made for a unique cocktail hour for our guests. We appreciated, too, having wide access to the museum and museum grounds for photographs prior to the ceremony and during the cocktail hour. We were able to take some truly epic photos – just us and with our wedding party, parents, and siblings. We loved it.

Such a wonderful experience having our wedding here! We booked this venue almost 13 months in advance and had to shift our wedding date one time because we got pregnant in between the planning process! Over about 15 months in total, we worked with three hotel coordinators and they certainly saved the best staff member for last because Nicki really helped tie the bow together and make our day flawless. She answered all my questions so quickly and was very helpful with helping me get what I wanted and needed without having to compromise the budget. This venue is so beautiful with an AMAZING water front view and I was blown away when I was given the quote for services because it’s one of the few places in the 757 that has a reasonable price for what is included in the package. The night before and day of my wedding couldn’t have gone any better. I am such an anxious over planner and was so happy to see the hotel already had the space prepped for the wedding before I woke up! The hotel staff was so quick to help me with any little thing I needed. I truly felt like a queen. My husband was also so so happy with the outcome. It was beyond our expectations. The hotel worked really well with the vendors we selected! The hotel’s food options are very delicious and the food tasting with Nicki was so much fun!! The hotel offers a discount for wedding guests which was perfect because all of our guests came from out of town. I love how once you get to the hotel you don’t really have to leave because there is a restaurant and other amenities to enjoy. If you choose to venture out, there are many close food places and a little bit of a night life. It was overall such a dream experience and very easy to plan our wedding even being out of town (we live in Alexandria, VA). We are so thankful we were able to have our dream wedding on a budget! I wouldn’t change anything about our special day.

The space and the staff were fabulous! Such a pretty venue! Even in November!

We had a small wedding. 38 people. Lauren made sure that I never once stressed out for anything. Our guests were raving about the food. The servers made sure every glass & plate stayed full, the bartender ensured the drinks stayed perfect. We blinked and all the clutter and tables were bussed. Jaye was our DJ and one of my biggest fears that no one would dance. The floor stayed busy 99% of the time. He went above and beyond what our vision was! All I can say is INCREDIBLE! Worth every penny! We had a blast! Even with the rain: it was PERFECT. We had a perfect sunset as everyone was leaving (pic)

The Fred Heutte Center was the perfect venue for our Friday night welcome dinner for our wedding. Bill was very helpful in coordinating the reservation. At our walk-through, he was very thorough in making sure we knew where everything was and how everything worked. The building was the perfect space for our casual welcome dinner of pizza and drinks. Although it is small, there are two floors and everyone was able to spread out nicely. The surrounding garden is so pretty, and in such a beautiful neighborhood. Also, the rental was incredibly affordable. I would definitely recommend booking the Fred Heutte Center for any small to medium event.
