I cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience at The Harbor Club! From the moment we connected with Jennifer and her team, we knew we were in the best hands. When our original venue unexpectedly closed, Jennifer swooped in like a true hero, saved the day, and made a stressful situation feel effortless. Looking back, I truly believe it was a blessing in disguise because this venue was even more stunning than we ever imagined.

Every single employee went above and beyond to ensure our guests were happy and having an amazing time. The food was phenomenal, the drinks were perfect, and the entire process—from planning to the big day—was smooth, stress-free, and genuinely enjoyable. Jennifer and her team’s dedication, professionalism, and genuine warmth made all the difference.

The Harbor Club at Waterside is one of the only downtown Norfolk venues to have a direct water view. We had an October reception, and we used the balcony for a happy hour before dinner and for during the reception. They set up a fire pit and lawn games, and our guests LOVED having that outdoor access. The indoor venue is beautiful with the nautical elements that meant we had to do basically no decorating other than the table settings. But the best part was how accommodating and professional the staff is. When we had to move the date a year later due to COVID, they were awesome. We wanted to provide our own wine and cocktail ingredients, and they executed that perfectly. Jennifer also asked tons of questions at our final meeting that showed she was on top of everything, and when we showed up at the venue, it was exactly how we had planned everything. Overall, this was the absolute perfect venue for a fall, indoor/outdoor feel with a nautical aesthetic. I could not recommend the Harbor Club at Waterside more enthusiastically!
